We stayed for 8 days and on day 3 finally got to use the swim out we paid for and day 8 finally got hot shower! Pool wasn’t filled water was stagnant shower water cool. I tried the spa it was very disappointing they talked me into the longest facial and massage to say I would get the Hydro water treatment but they told me no in my scheduled day and to come back another for it they overbooked. We paid for preferred and every day they were trying to sell us for $30-$40 extra per person a special dinner that they were hosting every evening. The restaurants On the resort didn’t require reservations because they were not that busy but the same food is serve served at every restaurant just in a different presentation manner. Food was less than good. We’re also supposed to get a butler. We only got a butler the last three days of service who wasn’t really able to do very much for us but apologize for the pool and apologize for lack of warm water because they needed to get parts to fix the water system, but that should’ve been told to us upon check-in which the room wasn’t even ready at 4 pm. I travel often And I’ve been to this country before this was a budget resort not a 4 star by any stretch. The dreams resorts are definitely in my opinion becoming less of a dream destination and a service yourself and don’t expect much resort destination. Save your money and pick a better all inclusive. Another thing you will not get any peace and quiet they do all of the evening activities right out by the rooms of the swim outs in the balcony rooms. You will hear nothing but chaos Monday through Sunday..

Had a wonderful time at this resort. It is in a wonderful location, just a few resorts down from a national park if you want to explore some trails, with a gorgeous beach that is surrounded by tide pools. Room was nice and was cleaned daily with the mini bar consistently restocked. 95% of the staff were absolutely lovely and service was excellent for the most part. Best bar is by far the lobby bar, they can serve everyone premium alcohol (other bars it is only for preferred members) and it is open the latest. The bar by the beach is hit and miss but ideal for convenience. Food is good for the most part. There is a lot of variety for dinner (we thought the French and Japanese restaurants were the best). Breakfast buffet is repetitive and was the lowest quality of all three daily meals, but was still good. The two spots for lunch were good. Biggest cons: consistent badgering by staff and vendors to sell you stuff and it can be difficult to find beach loungers under shade if weather is good (we were always able to, but we were usually out by 8:30am). Overall, we would return to this resort.

3 stars for what felt like a 3 star hotel, not a 5 star hotel. The biggest issue is that we came here for a wedding and more than half the wedding group came down violently sick from what was most likely food poisoning. There were multiple other issues that made it feel like it wasn’t a 5 star stay. The room we stayed in had several problems like a leaky sink and broken locks, and we had to chase the workers multiple times to fix it. The food was mediocre at best, mostly passing for just edible. The drinks are clearly watered down. Some of the service workers were rude. The hot tub wasn’t hot at all. The hotel did not want to take any accountability for the issues, and did not do anything meaningful to try to make things right. The only redeeming factor, but even barely at that, is that the beach is very nice. Though I would recommend to find another resort on the same beach and avoid the headache and food poisoning here.

Went on a family vacation for 8 adults and 2 kids! Overall the best all inclusive we have been to! Staff is so friendly and kind! The beach is incredible! We spent most of our time there because the water is so beautiful! Luckily at this time of year no seaweed! Food has been better than all of our other places we have been (Cuba and Mexico)! We loved Coco Cafe for their espressoo and Lattes! Loved that they had some milk alternatives for people who are dairy free! Rooms were nice, well kept and clean but getting to them can feel like a maze! We loved this place and as a family would return in the future!

My now wife and I hosted our wedding at this resort. At first, all went well and the ceremony was great. However, a few hours after food was introduced during the event, around 25% of our guests fell ill. They all went away in various stages of discomfort, nausea, or illness. When we brought this to the attention of the hotel, they immediately became defensive by stating "We have proper certifications". While I understand that they may have all the right procedures in place, accidents happen. Instead of sympathizing and trying to correct the situation, they went out of their way to state it wasn't the hotels fault but rather our own. Going back and forth with management was fruitless and resulted in the same "proper certification" spiel we heard before. While some people like Erick, our butler, did attempt to help, ultimately it was management's inability to act that cements this resort as a negative in our mind. We also heard from another couple that hosted a wedding a week before that people became I'll from food poisoning as well. I am very dissapointed by the entirety of the experience as this was supposed to be a magical experience. Try at your own risk.
