Beautiful location & wonderful weather. The beach is actually better than most seem to claim on here. The sand is nice, beautiful trees & water color. The ocean water was far too cold to get in but if you wanted to, you could find some spots where it’s less rocky. The pool was too cold, you could get in but it was freezing. The staff at the bars & buffet did not meet my expectations as I felt like I had to stare someone down to get anything I needed. The dinner staff was much more attentive. Candela was by far the best dinner 5/5. Not a ton of families, I’d say around 60% of the crowd was age 50+

This resort was amazing! It was so clean, you can really tell they take care of this resort. The staff is top notch and is always so friendly! They always have something going on. I love that it is a really chill resort. The food was amazing! Maluka (at the buffet), Erismendy & Cristofer in the preferrred Cabana section- were all so amazing! The Bartenders, too! The Coffee shop ladies memorized our orders by time we left- and it was just such an amazing time! They brought a smile to my babies face every day!! Thank you Dreams!!

Stayed at the Dreams Cap Cana for business. This Resort used to be a Margarita Resort before converting over. The vibe is very relaxed and tropical. It is easy to navigate around resort. This is a kid friendly/family resort, but doesn’t seem to have amenities that I e seen at other resorts for kids. The live entertainment at the Palms bar was great! The rooms are spacious with a tropical vibe that is continued (2nd floor). The balcony is big with table and chairs. The room I was in had a perfect view that overlooked the resort with excellent view of sunrises and sunsets. There are several restaurants here. At dinner, they are first come first serve. The buffet was good, but is what you would find at other resorts. I also was able to take a mixology class here. Francisco was our mixologist & showed us how to have an old fashion & a tropical drink. Great experience! This place is accessible for anyone with Monility issues & they have a 24 hr onsite doctor.

An unforgettable stay at Dreams Cap Cana Resort & Spa We stayed for three days while attending a wedding in Cap Cana, and from the moment we arrived, it was clear this resort operates at an exceptional level. George at the front desk was absolutely outstanding he was warm, professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. He set the tone for the entire stay, and the rest of the team followed suit. Every interaction felt thoughtful and sincere. The resort itself is stunning. The pools are immaculate and beautifully designed, offering both relaxation and fun without ever feeling crowded. The grounds are pristine, and the attention to detail throughout the property is impressive. The food exceeded expectations across the board—fresh, flavorful, and consistently excellent. Every meal felt intentional, not typical “resort food.” The service was equally impressive: polished, prompt, and always delivered with a smile. This was our first time at Dreams Cap Cana, and it will absolutely not be our last. The experience was seamless, elevated, and memorable in every way. Wow. Wow. Wow. Highly recommend.

🌴 Honest Stay Review – Cap Cana, Dominican Republic 🌴 Our stay at Dreams Cap Cana Resort & Spa was truly a mix of highs and lows — and overall we’d say it’s a beautiful place with excellent service, but there were some issues worth noting. From the moment we arrived, the staff impressed us with their hospitality. Every employee we interacted with was friendly, courteous, and genuinely seemed to care that we enjoyed our time. They handled requests promptly, always greeted us with a smile, and went out of their way to make our vacation comfortable. That level of service stood out and really enhanced the overall experience — it’s one of the resort’s strongest points. The grounds and amenities are lovely: well-maintained landscapes, inviting pools, and plenty of dining and activity options. The concierge and butler service were especially helpful, anticipating needs and making sure details were addressed without us having to chase them down. That said, our room experience wasn’t perfect. We encountered 1 to 2 per day cockroach in our room, which was upsetting and not what we expected at this level of resort. While this didn’t ruin our entire trip, it was definitely a disappointment and something the housekeeping/maintenance team should address more proactively. Unfortunately, reviews from other guests sometimes mention similar insect issues in rooms or bathrooms at Caribbean resorts — it’s not unheard of, but for a property like this it felt out of place. We told the stay they said they would treat the room which we don't think they did. They caulked it up with a smile and said well this is a tropical climate. In summary: ⭐ Service: Exceptional — the staff really makes the stay memorable. ⭐ Property & amenities: Beautiful and well laid-out. ⚠️ Room issues: Our encounter with a roaches and some insects was a notable downside.
