Good overall experience. The property is a little dated and could do with some more modern renovation. Rooms are spacious, facilities are kept clean and staff provide reasonably good service. The heated pool is great and general policies of the hotel are favourable For outings we had great support from Ibrahim on taxi services. Reception was always busy and recreation desk was often unmanned and guests having to wait fair amount to be served. Some how there is a lot of staff visible in the hotel but not where it is needed from guests point of view.

We absolutely loved our stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Sharm El Sheikh! My children had a fantastic time and adored the pool areas. The resort has a total of seven swimming pools, including a kids' club pool and heated options, so there's plenty of space for everyone to splash around and enjoy. We had the all-inclusive package, and the breakfast, lunch, and dinner were fantastic, with a great variety of food options. We would highly recommend the all-inclusive option to other families! The location is also excellent, as the hotel is very near to SOHO Square market, just a short 5-10 minute walk away, which is great for an evening out with shops and entertainment.

My family stayed here on the mountain side for a week during Christmas 2025 with the all-inclusive option and really enjoyed the stay. The staff are all friendly and professional. The variety of food, especially the desserts, is really tasty. The cleaner is efficient and kind, who folds the towels as crafts. Swimming and snorkeling at Shark Bay Beach offers a unique opportunity to explore the vibrant coral reef of the Red Sea. Snacks, drinks, and towels are provided. While the beach is just a short walk from the hotel, there are also frequent shuttle buses available. There are lots of organized activity like Zumba. During Christmas the live singing and dancing shows in the evening were entertaining.

We stayed at the hotel for 12 days, and it’s hard to know where to start because everything was absolutely wonderful. The room service was perfect. Our room (1055) was always spotless thanks to Hosseun, who truly went above and beyond. Every single day he surprised my partner and me with his creativity, making beautiful towel figures on the bed decorated with fresh flowers. Towels were changed daily, and his attention to detail made our stay extra special. The restaurant was always clean and offered a large selection of food, with something for everyone. We were especially well looked after by Muchamed, who was always helpful, friendly, and smiling, making every meal a pleasure. The bar near the dining area also deserves a special mention—the staff there were consistently helpful and welcoming. Overall, we felt truly cared for throughout our stay and would highly recommend this hotel. A huge thank you to the amazing staff for making our 12 days unforgettable! The swimming area is absolutely beautiful and very well maintained. However, one important warning: please be very careful with tour agents. We went on a Ciro one-day trip, and while most of the experience was good, we had a very disappointing situation with a lady named Habiba. We trusted her completely. She took us to places where tourists are taken advantage of. Since we had only been in Egypt for two days, we didn’t know the prices. She dropped me at an oasis shop to buy oils and perfumes, and no one warned us not to trust them with money. We ended up paying £100 for two very small bottles, only to later find out the original price was about $7. The same happened with carpets—prices started at £2,000 and went up to £15,000. Once they get you inside, they pressure you heavily and try to take advantage of you. It was very disappointing because we came with open hearts, left tips, and were repeatedly sworn to “by Allah” while being lied to. Please check everything carefully before agreeing to anything. Tour companies and international partners should do more to warn tourists—not only about drinking water, but also about how tourists are often exploited for money.

Had a great experience at this hotel, it was better than most in Egypt that we stayed at. The rooms were clean, service was fantastic (with a caveat). The shower did not drain very well, which was a recurrent theme at hotels in Egypt. We were in the Beachside but anything reception related we had to go to Mountainside (checking in, breakfast boxes for excursions, etc.). There was a woman who spoke to us at the reception in Beachside but cut us off when we were speaking said whatever she said and walked away before we could respond. That being said the staff at Mountainside were phenomenal. Resort overall is great, the pools are awesome. Beach space is a bit small but still cool to swim there. Breakfast was great. Taxis in this area are pretty expensive compared to other regions in Egypt. There are taxi desks inside the lobbies, there are also some taxis just on the road outside, guy with an older blue sedan is a good honest gentleman.
