We really enjoyed our stay at the DoubleTree Hilton in Phuket! As Diamond members, we received a free upgrade and were given a beautiful room with pool access — such a lovely surprise. A special thanks goes to Pieter who warmly welcomed us with the signature cookies and took great care of us throughout our stay. It was our first time in Phuket, and he answered all our questions with patience and a big smile. His helpfulness and genuine hospitality truly made a difference and helped perfect our experience. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and recently renovated. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, and we often ended up having dinner at the hotel too — we couldn’t get enough of the fried octopus! Highly recommend this place, and we wish Pieter all the best in his future career — he’s a real asset to the team!

Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Good location to a point (hope you like being woken by fireworks at 3am). But the most disappointing part was the misleading notice on their website about room renovations. This is not a “renovation”. It’s a full scale building reconstruction. Forget relaxing by the pool or chilling in your room. The noise is unbearable and cancels any of the positives this hotel has. Considering the price it’s been extremely disappointing.

Amazing hotel . And one of the best stays I’ve ever had with a Hilton property. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. From check in and even until leave I was treated very well. Hotel is also in a Greta area. You can walk to things nearby. Also restaurant is so tasty! All of the staff gave suggestions to me for things to do and just really cared about me: I will definitely be back.

A heartfelt thank you to Kate and the intern Pieter from the Netherlands for their friendly guidance and detailed information about the hotel’s facilities. Pros: Great location and very caring staff. Cons: The rooms are not cleaned daily unless you tell them. The place also doesn't have an executive lounge nor a working gym. Although they do refer you to a different nearby place. Lastly, you don't get the diamond member 15% discount at the spa because the spa is not owned by Hilton. Personally I found this is a way to get out of giving the discount and I'm not in favor of how Hilton is going about it. Overall: Still recommend it if you get a good rate. Otherwise try the Marriot across the street.
