We had the pleasure of staying at Domes Miramare, a Luxury Collection Resort, and I can wholeheartedly say that it was an exceptional experience. From the stunning location on the crystal-clear waters of the Sea to the luxurious amenities and impeccable service, everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed, and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The front desk staff were friendly and professional, immediately providing a sense of hospitality. The rooms are spacious, elegantly decorated, and offer a spectacular view of the sea. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the luxurious bathrooms are equipped with all necessary amenities. The daily housekeeping was flawless, and the room was left in perfect condition every time. The culinary offerings at Domes Miramare are diverse and of the highest quality. The breakfast buffet, in particular, offered a wide selection of delicious dishes. Here, I must especially highlight Mrs. Anna at the breakfast egg station. Mrs. Anna was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our stay. With her boundless energy and constant smile, she warmly greeted guests at the egg station every morning. Not only did she serve perfectly prepared eggs in every conceivable variation, but her friendly and positive demeanor also brightened every guest's day. Her professionalism and dedication are remarkable, creating an atmosphere that made starting the day an absolute delight. It is employees like Mrs. Anna, who are so committed and motivated, that make a stay at a hotel unforgettable. The service throughout the hotel was outstanding. The staff were always helpful, courteous, and ensured that every wish was fulfilled. I was particularly impressed by the attention to detail and the personalized care given to each guest.

Highly recommended! The room was beautiful with a very large bed. We stayed in a room in front of the swimming pool and a few steps from the beach it was amazing. The service is great all the stuff is warm and welcoming. Dinner is amazing. Would definitely come back again.

Gorgeous resort, but service could be improved. We never felt at home during our 4 day, 3 night stay at Domes Miramare. For a 5-star resort, the staff should be better trained and more polite. - Dinner at the restaurant was good, but the service was severely lacking. The server didn't bother for a friendly chat. Jumped right in to say "Yes?" prompting us to place our orders. Felt like our dinner dishes were thrown at us. - Service by the pool and beach chairs were also lacking. Felt like we were such an inconvenience and they never came back to check on us. Had to frequently walk up to the bar to get what we needed, and even to close our tab. - Concierge was uninformed about the Paxos tour they booked for us. We were told it was a 40 person max experience, but it was a huge boat with multiple buses chartering people. Not quite the relaxing experience we were expecting. Also had to follow up a few times to make sure it was booked and get confirmation. - Lockbox in the room needed to be reset. We had a room on the 1st floor by the pool and wanted to lock away our valuables. We had to ask several times. It wasn't until the final day that someone came by to reset it. Unacceptable... - Disappointed that the steam/sauna was not included in the resort fees. We were not informed of the price when booking. The good: - Early check-in and late check-out since I booked through AMEX - Beach chairs and overall resort vibe was nice Overall, disappointing stay after traveling from Los Angeles, CA, USA. We were looking forward to unwinding but instead had to chase down the staff.

I'm writing this review with recognition and understanding that my stay was within the first week of the resort opening to guests for the season however I would rate the overall experience quite disappointing. We like the Marriott brand very much having visited other places however, the Domes Miramare did not live to expectations in many areas, that said, certain staff members were excellent ( Eugine, Haute Living Supervisor) and (Daphne from main restaurant), Konstantinos (concierge staff) & Enkel (Fitness staff) Compared to Domes Zeen in Chania this Domes was disappointing and is certainly not a 5* experience for the reasons below: 1. Main restaurant- 1962 dinner on 4 May 2024: the food was good in particular the fillet steaks were cooked very well. The service was not good at all. Long waiting times, wrong orders served. It was disorganised and overall a non enjoyable meal due to having to catch the attention of staff majority of the time. it seems poor management and organization. Since that experience we have been eating out at the local restaurants and have had much better experiences. 2. Breakfast at 1962: this occurred daily: very long waiting times for coffee orders, wrong coffee orders, very limited protein options for those who don’t eat pork bacon or pork sausages. Perhaps smoked salmon or turkey or chicken sausages should be on the menu? They took very long to replenish empty dishes. As well as the missing details which should be expected such as no salt and pepper on every table. For a 5 star luxury hotel this should be available. 3. The spa experience was good as we had pre booked massages however, we wanted to go into the steam and sauna today to only find out that we needed to book the space in advance, that should be mentioned on information in the rooms. It seems that steam and sauna slots are allocated in one hour slots, in my view, this is too long, perhaps 20/ 25 min slots to allow as many guests to enjoy the experience and spa staff to clear up after each guest. 4. The pool and beach bar was good. Good choice of salads and staff were fine albeit need to smile a bit more. 5. Housekeeping quality of cleaning is questionable. We left room at 9 am daily to come back by 1 pm and room had not been cleaned. I’m not sure that turn down service is done properly. We had to request for coffee pods, tissue boxes to be replaced frequently as it wasn’t done automatically. 6. The gym was great, good equipment choice expect for the multi gym machine which isn’t the most user friendly. Great techno gym cardio machines. PT instructor Enkel was very helpful and attentive. Overall, I wish I had selected another hotel. If there is a staff member who would like to discuss my concerns in more detail I am happy to. Thank you.

This resort is beautiful! From the lobby to the modern well appointed rooms. The reception staff is very welcoming and helpful. Checking in was a breeze They take you on a full resort tour. We were in the 600’s(room numbers furthest from reception and restaurant). The food and drinks were very good as well. The beach water is clear and clean. Plenty of sunbeds on the beach but very scarce around the pool. The beach is rocky. Where the sun beds are it’s all rocks and pebbles. To get into the water you do have to step on rocks and pebbles to enter the water. Service in the restaurant was lacking, mediocre at best. Very slow. The food however was very good. Visit the craft bar in the lobby. The bartender is excellent. I think his name was Yannis. There is an excellent Greek restaurant 5 minutes from the resort named AROKARIA. It’s traditional home made Greek food on a beautiful outdoor terrace with olive trees and flowers and a spectacular ocean view.
