We have just returned from a truly amazing stay - so much so, tears were in our eyes as we left the resort. Our suite had a shared pool offering incredible views towards Spinalonga, as well as it's own terrace - complete with cosy furniture and lounging beanbags. Admittedly, we upgraded to Cool Living which was worth every penny - offering us a taste of something we'd never experienced before. Overall the staff were amazing, particularly in the Greco Levante Bar - for which we are extremely grateful. There were however some standout individuals, including Vagia (you can't go to bed until I finish), Kostas (guest relations and I'll get you a restaurant booking no matter what), Alexandros (what time is afternoon or evening) and Mary (the ultra efficient cocktail mixer). That said, two people went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable - they were Marina and Manolis Both were incredible, not only in service but personality - meaning we must return in 2026! Whilst the resort is located on a steep hillside, we found the daily climb invigorating and certainly a great way to work off our over indulgence's! In summary, we had a wonderful time and met with some amazing people. The pools, food and location were perfect for us, so thanks again for everything guys - you smashed it! Love Andy and Mark. xx

We truly enjoyed our stay here. Everything you do in Elounda feels even more satisfying with such an incredible view. The variety in the hotel’s restaurants and the delicious food made us very happy. Beyond that, the staff were genuinely helpful and attentive—special thanks to the always-smiling Dora and Valentina for their kindness. When we had an issue with our room, they responded quickly and offered us some special perks since it was our honeymoon, which we really appreciated. The only downside was that although all rooms technically have a view, some of them are more limited than others—even when you choose one of the best rooms. It would’ve been helpful to be more aware of this in advance. Still, the team was always supportive about changing rooms, so in the end, it turned out to be a lovely experience overall. :)

From the moment we arrived at Domes Aulus Elounda All-Inclusive Resort, we were greeted with warm hospitality, breathtaking views, and a sense of serenity that lasted our entire stay. This resort is an absolute gem — a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and authentic Cretan charm. The staff were exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure our every need was met with kindness and efficiency. Every interaction felt genuine and welcoming. Our room was spotless, beautifully designed, and offered incredible views of the sparkling sea. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the attention to detail in the decor created a calm, peaceful atmosphere. As for the food and drinks, the all-inclusive dining options were outstanding. We enjoyed a wide variety of fresh, high-quality dishes — each meal felt like a special experience. The local wines and cocktails were a delightful bonus! We also loved the pool area and beach access, which were both clean, well-maintained, and offered the perfect spots to unwind and take in the scenery. Special mention to the evening entertainment and relaxing spa — both added an extra layer of enjoyment to our stay. Overall, our time at Domes Aulus Elounda was nothing short of incredible. We left feeling refreshed, uplifted, and already dreaming of our return. Highly recommended to anyone seeking a luxurious, stress-free escape in beautiful Crete!

We chose this spot for our honeymoon but opted for the most basic room. Overall, I was very satisfied - the views are amazing. Anywhere you are in the hotel, you can see the sea. Even from the gym, which is very nicely equipped with newest Technogym machines. The staff is very friendly and very helpful on every occasion. Food was good - but honestly, for a 5 star hotel at this price range, I would prefer more options during lunch and dinner - after three days, I felt like the buffet was pretty much the same. Also, the snack bar could have more options - especially on the beach where all you could get in the fridge was pretty dry wrap with almost no filling. I would love to have some variety and some freshly looking and healthy food there. Also snack bar by the pool could have had more choices. But I felt really well during our stay and would go again.

Our stay at Domes was unfortunately a disappointment. While the room itself was decent and offered a pleasant view, the uphill walk to reach it, or waiting for a buggy, was inconvenient and tiring, especially in the heat. The buffet was underwhelming, with very few vegetarian options and mostly American-style food. Given the location, we were expecting more local and traditional specialties. Service was another major letdown. Many staff members came across as indifferent or even rude, making us feel like we were bothering them with the simplest requests. This is not the level of hospitality one expects from a five-star hotel. Despite marketing themselves as eco-friendly, the hotel used paper cups for poolside drinks and changed our towels daily, even when we followed instructions to reuse them, and relied on cars to drive guests up the hill to their rooms throughout the day. We also had an unfortunate incident where our glass was knocked over by the wind at the pool. A cleaning staff member acknowledged it but never returned to clean it up, which is unacceptable in this type of establishment. Overall, the experience was disappointing and felt more in line with a 3-star hotel. We will not be returning.
