The staff at Domus Alus Elounda were beyond amazing. Chrissa in particular went above and beyond, she looked after every little detail and made us feel so cared for. The food was delicious, the drinks were fantastic, and everything was seamless from start to finish. What makes this place truly special is the people. I’ve never met kinder, more thoughtful staff. They not only made my birthday trip unforgettable but also helped my fiancé plan the proposal of my dreams, down to the finest detail. This was hands down the most memorable trip of my life, and I can’t thank the team enough. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this all-inclusive hotel! Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. The surroundings were breathtaking, with beautiful landscapes that made the whole experience even more relaxing and enjoyable. The staff were outstanding — always kind, professional, and ready to help with anything we needed. A special mention goes to the reception team, who were truly incredible and made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. The facilities were excellent, the food and drinks were delicious with plenty of variety, and the atmosphere was simply wonderful. It was the perfect getaway for me and my girlfriend, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for more. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely love to come back again!

This was my first experience with an all-inclusive hotel and first off, I have to say that a lot of our experience is likely unique to us. — and that there was plenty to recommend this hotel if this is the sort of vacation you prefer. So i'll try to be succinct. I also want to be very clear: the staff that were around were very kind to us, especially the servers and bartenders at the VIP restaurant. First of all, we had the package which included expanded access — i don't know whether that's called the "VIP" package or not, but I'll call it that from now on. The resort seemed totally baffled that we had driven there rather than arriving on an airport shuttle, which I suppose makes sense, but they couldn't promise us a spot for our car and instead insisted on parking it in their lot. We thought this would take five minutes; instead it took almost an hour to get access to our car again, which we needed so that we could visit a laundromat in town and get our two-week-old clothes refreshed. That would have been fine, we could have gone down to the private beach — except what's artfully obscured in online photos is the way the resort is basically built into a cliffside, and the rooms at the top of the resort are basically a vertical scramble if you don't wait for the shuttle, for which there's no clear information or hotline. This means without a car you're functionally trapped, even from most of the amenities of the resort unless you happen to live by them. My wife kept saying, "that's what resorts are, you're trapped on purpose." But what if you want to go to the beach you ostensibly paid for exclusive access to?? The resort was also crazy windy; this is of course not anything that anyone could do something about, but it's a function of the sort of Hopi Tribe style of cliffside dwelling that Domes has invested in here. Overall the resort gave the impression of being understaffed; far from a high-touch experience at check-in, we felt like we sort of had no idea what was going on. The room was... sweaty. There was a delightful welcome basket in the room but the chocolate was totally melted, lol. The fridge was unrefrigerated. Down at the rest of the resort, a number of amenities were not available, the bathrooms in the basement smelled sort of wretched, and the food available at the cafe on the mid-level seemed microwaved, to say the least. Now for the good: the VIP restaurant was EXQUISITE. This was the experience we'd signed up for — unlimited quality wines, champagnes, a variety of dishes each of them incredibly delicious (the beef carpaccio was the best I've ever had). And the energy here is charming. We stayed up all night with Marena, the bartender, and a gaggle of Brits who were there on holiday with each other. Some of the best moments of our honeymoon were up here in the restaurant. We also sprung for the room with the hot tub, which I highly recommend — the pools below us looked refreshing but there's something unnerving about the idea of neighbors being able to swim laps into your backyard. The view is unreal in the mornings, and romantic at night — the lack of any real light gives you the impression of looking out at fields of stars. You almost lose your balance. Wonderful. Look, we didn't expect the moon or anything. But when you spend as much as you're going to spend to be at an all-inclusive, you hope for more luxury. I think we learned that we could have put the money towards an experience that would have spoken more to our tastes.

Endless views, breathtaking location, and the most unique panorama on the island. The staff? Simply 10/10 – warm, kind, and always smiling. Amazing restaurants with rare flavors, endless drinks 🍸, and the best bartenders everywhere – from the beach bar to the lobby. We stayed in a room with a shared pool – perfect! 🏖️ Spotless housekeeping, super comfy bed and pillows. In one word: paradise. Can’t wait to come back!

The food was great across all the restaurants. The buffet had great selection of food and was always different. It was hard to get bookings at the restaurant as you are only able to book once you arrive but staff were very helpful getting that sorted for us. Overall great experience and would defiantly come back. We stayed here this October and were very pleased with the service we received. We were guests of Cool Living and playing the extra price was worth every penny. The food was great across all the restaurants. The buffet had great selection of food and was always different. It was hard to get bookings at the restaurant as you are only able to book once you arrive but staff were very helpful getting that sorted for us.
