I had such a great experience at this hotel! Everything was super clean, including the common areas. The girls at the front desk were really friendly and welcoming, which made me feel right at home. The room had everything I needed and was really comfortable. They even have a kitchen, which was super convenient. The pools are beautiful and perfect for relaxing, and the beach is just a short walk away, which was a huge plus. Definitely a place I’d stay at again

We’ve been loyal guests at Divi Resorts for over 8 years, always choosing it for our family staycations — but this recent experience was by far the worst. The rooms were not properly cleaned or sanitized, with visible dust and general untidiness that made the place feel neglected. For a resort of this standard, that’s simply unacceptable. What really ruined our stay, however, was the rude and unprofessional management. We had agreed to an 11am checkout, which is clearly stated on the signs behind the room doors, yet we received a call at 10am telling us to leave immediately. When we tried to clarify, the staff were dismissive and downright rude — no apology, no courtesy, no attempt to resolve the situation. Their tone made it seem like we were being a nuisance for simply following the posted checkout time. After years of choosing Divi for our vacations, it’s disheartening to see how much the service and hospitality have declined. We left feeling completely unwelcome and disappointed. Sadly, we won’t be returning — and I would strongly suggest future guests reconsider before booking.

As a Divi vacation club member we stayed here for the first time. The people here are amazing, the grounds beautiful and close to the Gap. Our room was horrible. We did not have cold water at all and we told the front desk but nothing ever happened. It was not as clean as I expected it to be and the place was dusty and I found dirty socks behind a night stand. The sliding door to the balcony was broken so we couldn't get out to the balcony. Had it not been for the horrible room I would have given this place a 5 star. Room 514.

We had an amazing stay at DV Southwinds in July, and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The hotel is ideally located in the heart of St. Lawrence Gap, making it incredibly convenient to access a variety of restaurants, local grocery stores, and fun attractions. The property itself is beautifully maintained, and the staff went above and beyond with their friendliness and support throughout our stay. July turned out to be a perfect time to visit—fewer crowds meant easy access to the pool, mini golf, playgrounds, and the beach, all without the usual hustle. We stayed in a Garden view room, which offered lovely views of lush greenery and stunning trees. All rooms come equipped with a kitchen, which was a huge plus for preparing quick meals—perfect for families! The space was generous and comfortable. While some restaurants in the Gap were closed due to the off-season, we found plenty of affordable dining options nearby. The food truck just outside the resort had delicious selections, and we especially loved our experience at Pure Oceans Breeze. Though on the pricier side, the quality of the food and impeccable service made it well worth the splurge. Don’t miss their happy hour from 12:00–1:00 and 4:00–5:00, with half-price drinks and a chance to try some unique flavors. The resort also features a beachside pool that provided the best of both worlds—easy dips in the ocean and relaxing swims in the pool. Be aware that the waves can be strong at times, and seaweed was present on a couple of days but was promptly cleaned up. Families traveling with kids should keep a close eye near the shore. For budget-friendly eats, head down the Gap toward the left side of the beach—places like Daddy’s offered great value. Overall, a memorable and relaxing getaway with incredible hospitality. Huge thanks to the entire staff for making our stay so special!
