Loved how close we were to all of the parks. Room was perfect for our party of 5. A separate bedroom with full bathroom and two full size beds and another full bathroom. Main living room area had a small refrigerator with freezer, a microwave, coffee maker and sink. Paper goods were also provided. Highly recommend!

Art of Animation is a confused hotel / motel that looks and feels like a value resort but primarily offers suites. They are the only resort on property that offers budget rooms (under $200) AND luxury priced rooms (over $500). If you are in the market for a luxury priced room, there are better options. If you are looking for a budget friendly room, there are better options. We've stayed at AOA many times, (too many to count) including one stay for over 30 days. This review only includes our most recent 2025 experience (August) and only refer to the value rooms (Little Mermaid). The woman at the gate couldn't find the guest in her computer, that i was scheduled to visit, so refused to let us in the resort, and started swearing when her computer wouldn't refresh. We held up the line for 15 minutes. Eventually I showed her our reservation for the following day, and was allowed in. The property is beautiful, and colorful, inside and out - and still looks brand new decades after opening. I'm always impressed by how maintained it seems to be.

We had such a wonderful stay at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort! The whole place is so bright, fun, and full of Disney magic. My daughters were over the moon about our Little Mermaid room — the seashell headboards, the colors, and all the little details made them feel like they were really “under the sea.” It was so special watching their faces light up every time we walked in. The resort itself was easy to get around, and the pools and dining made it super family-friendly. Having the Skyliner right there was such a game-changer too — it made getting to the parks quick and stress-free. Overall, it was such a memorable trip. We loved every moment and can’t wait to go back!

We were not really happy with the stay in general. When we came in we needed to wait pretty long to be able to go to our room (we were there at the check in time). Then the Lagrange took long in arrive to the room (we regretted not taking by then our self’s). When buying food in the hotel main restaurant, they weren’t forks available and I asked several employees that told me it is not responsability and they don’t know what to do. So two nights in a row we had our food but not cutlery to eat it. (Not silverware OR the plastic ones). The room cleaning service is every two days and they forgot to do it ones, so they didn’t clean it for 4 days, no explanation from the stuff, ended up. Asking for clean towels at least. We order two packages from Amazon and when to pick them up at the reception (they were two receptionist for the whole resort so needed to wait) and coming back to our room we read a letter on the package saying they would charge $6 per package just for receiving it. The room card that my husband had stop working, also needed to go to the reception to fix it. Mine stop working the day after. Wanted to do laundry and bought the soup, place that and the cloth in the washing machine, paid but couldn’t make it work. When I call to the phone that was where to get help, they told me better to change a everything from the machine because it might take a while because someone will come to fix it from outside the hotel. In general, we were surprised about this quality being Disney. It was WAY better to stay in Universal.

We reserved a double bed, little mermaid room and it was absolutely the cutest room ever! Just big enough for the four us! Very clean spaces, especially considering there are children of all ages everywhere, the grounds were very very well kept. I didn't personally care for the food options in the food court but they were available and convenient. The staff were so accommodating, truly a 10/10 for their customer service. I can't wait to plan our next trip and book another resort stay!
