Excellent location with great transportation options. The room was well appointed and laid out, though the kitchenette was less than expected. Only a coffee maker, microwave, and small fridge. A kettle would have been a nice addition. We did have a cute little house gecko as a guest but maintenance came over to capture and release it. It was cold so we didn't get a chance to use the pool or explore the resort like we wanted to. The restaurant was good but the portions are too large and accordingly priced. Would be nice to have half portion options at lower prices. This place is geared toward young families, so be prepared for a lot of loud kids and noise.

I have nothing but good things to say! So many good things! Most important, the people who work there are amazing. They were so helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. They made the trip so much better. The resort was stunning. Just beautiful with so many hidden gems. I found something new to admire every day. The food was consistently good and they had something for everyone. I had a party of five that included one very picky kid and two teens. They ate well all week. We ate at the resort for at least 1 meal a day. They were always super busy but the lines moved fast. The different pools were my kids favorite part. Such a festive and fun setting. I enjoyed looking around while they swam. Everything is easy to get to. They make transportation stress free. We had a scooter for my mom and were worried how to transport her but they made it super easy. Even on they Skyliner. They also have a really nice little gift store on-site that we all enjoyed. The front desk had a pin board and she went down every morning to see if there was something new to trade for. They were so nice at the front desk and she looked forward to it everyday. If you are planning a family trip I would highly recommend staying here. We stayed in the Cars building with a party of 5 and it was perfect. I would love to go back! Last thing: I would definitely recommend getting the refillable mugs. They were so worth it.

We stayed at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort for two nights. The check-in process was fast and smooth, and the staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful. On the downside, the food court experience was disappointing. The service there was not good, and the area also felt somewhat dirty, which was unexpected for a Disney property. Our room, however, was a positive surprise. We were upgraded to a larger room than the standard one, and it was spacious and comfortable. The room was themed after the Disney movie Cars, which was fun and very well done, especially for families. That said, the building itself had a strange odor in the hallways that caught our attention and took away from the overall experience. One major negative point was housekeeping. Our room was not cleaned during our stay, which we found unacceptable, especially considering that this is not a cheap hotel. It’s hard to understand why daily room cleaning is not provided at this price level. On the positive side, the hotel’s location is excellent, very close to the parks, and the bus transportation to and from the parks is very efficient and convenient. Overall, the resort has great theming, good rooms, and an excellent location, but improvements are definitely needed in housekeeping and food court service.

The whole resort is really nice and the themes and designs are amazing. Definitely a place to take your kids. Rooms might be small but you don't want to spend too much time there other then sleep. There is a lot to keep you busy. All the cast/crew are very friendly and work really hard to make sure you have a magical time during your visit. The Little Mermaid rooms/area is nice but do plan on walking a lot to be to busses/skyline. Would love to go back and try one of the suites with the family.

For a “budget” resort, it really is a great value. There’s only a few resorts with family rooms (multiple bathrooms, 3+ beds) and everything is clean. Bus lines move fast, and the gondolas are a nice recent addition. More food options beyond the dining hall would be nice, it gets a little chaotic during bus times, but the food is high quality. Pools, arcade and other amenities/movies keep the fam busy when not at the park. 5/5
