We absolutely loved our stay at Disney’s All-Star Resort! We stayed in the Toy Story section and it honestly made the experience feel extra magical for the kids from the moment we arrived. One of our favorite little traditions was decorating the hotel window after unpacking 😂 It turned into such a fun little activity for the kids and made the room feel personal and exciting during the stay. The hotel itself has so many activities happening throughout the property which keeps the atmosphere fun and family-oriented the entire time. There was always something going on, and it really helped make the resort feel like part of the Disney experience instead of just a place to sleep. Another huge plus was the dining area inside the hotel. Having quick and convenient food options right there made everything so much easier for our family, especially after long park days. The overall setup is very kid-friendly, energetic, and full of Disney magic without feeling overwhelming. We also got our scavenger hunt pin during the stay which was such a fun little experience for the kids. Totally recommend stopping by the gift shop and asking about it because it adds another interactive activity to the trip and makes the stay even more memorable. For families with children, especially Toy Story fans, this place creates such fun little memories throughout the trip. We had an awesome stay and would absolutely come back again.

My 8 year old grandson and I stayed in late May to early June. This is our second visit to AllStar Sports Resort. We returned to the AllStar because we love everything about the resort. The Cast Members are always so welcoming, courteous and friendly. We requested the “Surfs Up” section are were given a room almost directly opposite the pool. It was so accommodating after a full day at the parks. The food court Cast Members were very kind and pleasant to interact with. The housekeeper were very kind, putting my grandsons stuffed animals on the bed in very “sweet” poses. We truly enjoy everything aspect of this resort.

I recently stayed at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort and left feeling disappointed overall. For a Disney resort, I expected a more immersive experience. The resort grounds are themed, but the rooms themselves felt very generic. Aside from a few Disney character pictures on the wall, the room could have been mistaken for any standard hotel room. The room was also much smaller than expected. I traveled with my daughter, and the bed felt cramped for the two of us. We both tend to move around in our sleep, and it was difficult to get comfortable. I later learned there was a pull-down bed available, but using it would have eliminated our table space and made the already-small room feel even more crowded. One of the biggest issues was the air conditioning. The thermostat would not go below 68 degrees, and the room never felt close to that temperature. I was sweating throughout the night. After contacting the front desk, I was told maintenance would inspect the unit and a fan would be provided if needed. I specifically requested the fan regardless, just in case. While the fan did help somewhat, it was dusty and not very powerful. The room remained warmer than expected for the duration of my stay. The refrigerator was another disappointment. It never seemed to get properly cold, and I ended up throwing away about $20 worth of fruit because it spoiled and smelled bad after being stored in the fridge. The room also lacked trash bags, which was an inconvenience during our stay. I also booked a vacation package that included the resort, park tickets, dining plan, and what was advertised as complimentary water park access and a kids dining promotion. After comparing the costs myself, I found that booking everything separately would have cost essentially the same amount. I did not feel like I received any meaningful savings or added value from the package. The staff I spoke with were polite and attempted to address my concerns, which is why I’m not giving a lower rating. However, for the price and the Disney name, I expected a much more comfortable and memorable resort experience. Unfortunately, I would likely choose a different hotel for future Orlando trips.

You get what you pay for. This is where Disney magic dies and I would not call this a family-friendly resort. You know there must be issues constantly at this motel given there are multiple sheriffs posted around (not in their cars, but standing around the common areas). Our 10 year-old was excited to go see the football field but it was filled with older teens and young 20s who were yelling and cursing at each other. Even though security was standing right next to them, nothing was being done to keep order. Then, we had to deal with people smoking pot in the parking lot right outside our room. Oh, and be prepared to hear every time your neighbors take a shower, flush the toilet, or go in and out of their room. The front desk staff did not care when we reported the yelling/cursing/smoking and just said to tell security next time. They didn't have anything to say when we told them security was already right there. The reason I gave this 2 stars instead of one is because the beds were relatively comfortable and the room was clean, though small. There is very little room to walk around when both queen beds are being used. The girl who helped us at check in was also nice, though perhaps a little too nice? She spoke to us in the same way one of the princesses might speak to you in the parks, which is ok at first but it gets old pretty quick. Still, she was nice and made every effort to take care of us. All in all though, we won't be staying here again. It was our first experience at one of WDW's resorts and definitely a disappointment.

The inside of room was different then what I remembered last visit. It was better the only exception was that the floors were not clean as they made our socks dirty. The floors (no carpets) should of been swept and washed but other than that the place was great. The food court should of had more choices but it was ok. Did not use the pool as we wanted to go to the Parks and have fun. Magic Kingdom as always was great. Overall we loved it!!!!
