Absolutely amazing experience here. Such an incredible hotel, the atmosphere was just shockingly absorbing and detailed. The food at Boma was the best I've had in a long time and the service from the hotel staff was second to none. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. We were lucky to have a partial view room, which really added to the experience. We all enjoyed sitting on the balcony and looking at the animals. We visited both pools, and they were fantastic. There are also plenty of paths and quiet areas to explore around the property. Highly recommend the hotel and definitely have dinner at either of the restaurants.

Staying at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge was truly a magical and unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning architecture, rich African-inspired design, and the incredible attention to detail that Disney is known for. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and completely immersive—you genuinely feel like you’ve stepped into a luxurious safari lodge. The highlight, without question, was the view from our room. Waking up to see giraffes, zebras, and other exotic animals roaming just outside our balcony was nothing short of surreal. It’s such a unique experience that you can’t find anywhere else in the U.S., and it made our stay extra special. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and there are observation areas throughout the resort where you can watch the animals and learn more about them from knowledgeable cast members. The staff at Animal Kingdom Lodge went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Everyone was incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive. We especially appreciated the small touches—like cast members sharing fun facts about the animals, cultural experiences for the kids, and warm smiles at every turn. Dining at the Lodge is also a standout. We ate at both Boma and Jiko, and the food was absolutely delicious—flavorful, fresh, and full of unique options that you won’t find at other Disney resorts. Whether you’re a foodie or just looking for something fun and different, you won’t be disappointed. The resort offers convenient transportation to all the Disney parks, but honestly, we could’ve spent an entire day just exploring and enjoying everything the Lodge has to offer. Between the pools, animal viewing areas, restaurants, and cultural activities, there’s plenty to do right on site. We would 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a Disney resort experience that’s a little different and totally unforgettable. Animal Kingdom Lodge is a perfect mix of adventure, luxury, and Disney magic!

The room was wonderful, offering a great view of the savanna, where the animals were very active throughout the day. Since it was March, the temperature was perfect. The bus stop for the parks was conveniently close, making transportation easy. The pool area was spacious, featuring a kids' playground nearby and a flamingo viewing area right next to it. The bar, located by the pool, had quick and efficient service from the staff. Additionally, the restaurant by the pool served the same food as the buffet, so if you didn’t want to pay for the buffet, you could simply order by the pool, pick up your meal, and enjoy it on your balcony. The lobby was warm and inviting, creating a cozy atmosphere from the moment you arrived. Keep in mind that if you're unsure about spending the money, you can visit the hotel first to check it out and decide if it’s the right fit for you. The staff is very friendly and always happy to help.

I have stayed here twice now and can’t bring myself to book a different resort. I just love being able to sit on the balcony and look at animals. Even sitting in your room you get to feel the Disney magic by just looking out the window. There are different trails to be mindful of if you are expecting certain animals. Some Savannah views are on the zebra trail, or Kudu, or giraffe. It’s small enough to easily walk to get food, go for a swim, or get to the bus transportation area.

Our experience here was just okay. It was our first time staying at a Disney resort and we were not terribly impressed with the service. This particular hotel has a very impressive lobby that is well decorated and really beautiful. The food choices were good for a hotel that is so isolated from the rest of the Disney area. Being able to walk out and see all the wildlife was cool... the one time we were able to see them during our 5 day stay with them. We really liked the arcade and some of the other family friendly amenities they had. I was very disappointed by the service though. I asked for help with some things like booking a massage and getting late checkout and both times, the staff were not friendly and not helpful. Overall, I think this hotel is impressive but not worth the price tag. You're better off staying at a Marriott or something similar
