Animal Kingdom Lodge is truly magical. From the moment you step inside the lobby, you are transported to a safari. The lobby is breathtaking and features a ton of artifacts. Our room could not have had a better view. We watched giraffe, zebra and other animals all day. A giraffe even slept outside our window. The club level is definitely worth the extra money as we enjoyed unlimited drinks and delicious food! The concierge cast members are incredible! Also, don't miss the chance to pin trade with King Pin. He made our last day unforgettable. We can't wait to come back next year!

Had a great time here. The pool was great, the water slide was a hit with the kids. Room was very clean and super spacious. Lots to do and see in the resort. The activities were fun. The food was good in the quick serve restaurant just wish it had more options.
The animals on site are a huge bonus. We enjoyed our week here and can’t wait to return.

We had a wonderful holiday at the animal kingdom lodge! We had a long stay (12 nights in jambo house), so did not experience the housekeeping problems that others have mentioned, and the sheets and towels were changed every day. We had a regular room but still had a fantastic view of the animals from the balcony. For such a large hotel, we found it extremely quiet, no noise at all while we were there, although we were quite a long walk from the lobby. We only used the Mara quick service restaurant, but we found this suited our needs and offered a reasonable range of good quality food. We had no problems at all while we were there and would love to visit again.

This is a good hotel. The view is good, the pool is good, the rooms are good and the transfer links are also good. This hotel really shines due to the design. It is the only hotel I have seen like it.
However, this is a very expensive hotel and a cleaner accidentally (I think) took a blanket that I brought from home. They have apparently been searching for it during these last 1.5 days. My trip ends in a couple of days so even though I doubt it, I hope they find my blanket.
In summary, this is a good hotel. It just has a couple flaws from my experience.

GORGEOUS hotel. Lobby and grounds are worth a day of exploring. It was so incredible to wake up and have a view of the savanna and the diverse array of wildlife. Fascinating capsules of African culture and art are everywhere. The ambience is stunning and immersive. Worth every nickel.
