Staying at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge was truly an unforgettable experience for me. From the moment I arrived, I felt a very special atmosphere—peaceful, warm, and beautifully designed with authentic African details that made the hotel feel unique and alive. One of the most amazing parts of my stay was being able to see animals like giraffes and zebras right from the hotel area. Watching them calmly walk around the savanna was something I never imagined experiencing at a hotel. It felt magical and made every morning and evening even more special. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The bed was cozy, the space felt relaxing, and everything was thoughtfully prepared, making it the perfect place to rest after a long day. The hotel facilities are excellent, and the overall environment is calm, beautiful, and ideal for creating lasting memories. What truly made my stay exceptional was the Disney staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. Their kindness and professionalism made me feel very welcomed and valued throughout my stay. Overall, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is more than just a hotel—it’s a complete experience filled with unforgettable moments. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Orlando who wants something truly special and different. This stay left a lasting impression on me, and I would absolutely love to come back again♥️♥️

We love disney and are very happy members of the dvc. We’ve stayed at almost all the deluxe resorts. Animal Kingdom lodge is far and away our favorite and the people are great. Service is excellent. Food is delicious. And the animals are a treat (watch the animal kingdom zoo show first before you come). BUT, THERE IS NO BREAKFAST before magic kingdom rope drop, and NO MORNING SHUTTLE to Jambo house from Kidani before 730 to even get a cup of coffee (nothing is open in Kidani until 730). If you want sufficient time to eat and get to magic kingdom for rope drop your only option is to either walk from Kidani to jambo with the tired kids or starve. Completely fixable. When asked why jambo house doesn’t start serving breakfast until 7 the manager said they need time to set up. Literally every fast food place opens before that for breakfast. Most other disney resorts open before that. The Hiltons and Hyatts serve breakfast before that. Just a massive miss. Please fix.

Maybe I don’t get Disney, but I’m very underwhelmed by this hotel. If you’re used to staying at nice 4 star hotels you will be disappointed staying here. Walls are thin, it’s extremely crowded, kids screaming down the hallway - for reference I’m here on a Tuesday thru Friday last week in Jan. It’s allegedly a less busy time but feels very crowded. We have a Savannah view room and it’s fine I guess, but it’s certainly not worth what we paid. It’s nicer than looking at a parking lot but it’s not like elephants and tigers are roaming around. Expect to see some zebra, cool but also kinda meh after the 10th one. People love it here but I don’t get it. Feels really basic and dated. Haven’t had any interaction with staff, checked in through the app. It’s my daughter’s first visit which we indicated on the app and on all dinner reservations & no one has mentioned it. We don’t feel any magic. If you’re not a Disney head stay off property. It’s just .. too much.

We stayed here for a weekend for a much needed staycation. We chose this hotel for It’s more cozy atmosphere and the animals. It’s a beautiful relaxing resort. The Savannah room view is so nice to just sit and watch the animals roam. We enjoyed the food at Boma and jikos and highly recommended this for couples for a getaway. The only thing is that it is the farthest resort and you can only get to the parks on a bus or drive.

Such a great time! We booked for my sons birthday and thought he'd love the animals. He did so much even though he was more interested in the tree that fell down, because it was just laying there. Lol. We spent time at the playground at Jambo, he ran around, and went down the slides countless times. Played in the acarde so he can "drive" some cars. Food at Joki was exceptional as well as the service. We left our leftover bag there and Donato tracked us down to bring it to us. Such a fun place, as a DVC owner i would definitely book it again.
