I wanted to thank Mr.Jakkit and Miss Meen for their efforts to help me find my delayed luggage. Their performance are beyond and above their require duty. The hotel are so busy yet they are so supportive and efficient. I am absolutely stunned and impressed with their service. Overall the entire team of this resort are amazing. I would absolutely recommend this resort as the view is spectacular and the service is impressive. Definitely will choose this resort again if l am coming back to Phuket. We had exceptional time and loved all the amenities. We stayed for 6 nights at this hotel in suite room with ocean views during new year celebrations. The room was spacious and had a luxury feel to it with stunning views of the sea. The housekeeping was excellent. Breakfast had many options and all are very delicious. We received 1 kg of complementary fruits. Shuttle service was regular to navigate the hill. The only issue was with our booking which we made well in advance and shortly before our arrival it was disrupted and we had to pay hefty extra or cancel during holiday season. Management could have done better in this situation.

Stayed at the resort for 10 nights in December 2025. The location and facilities were great, and I highly recommend it! The quieter end of Patong Beach is literally across the street. There are some fantastic restaurants nearby, Meg Khram across the road is a must for a sunset dinner. I would personally skip the two restaurants on-site; they’re not terrible, just nothing special or delicious in comparison to whats around you. There are plenty of food and juice stalls along the Patong beachfront (super delicious, don’t be scared to try them!), plus water sports like jet skis, parasailing and boat rentals. Regarding the comments about the stairs: the hotel is called Diamond Cliff, and yes, it’s built on a mountain side. The clue is in the name. It’s a resort spread across a hillside, not a single-building hotel, so you should expect some stairs. The driveway up to reception is a steep slope, and the rest of the resort has steps connecting rooms, pools, restaurants, etc. I’ve attached a photo of the site map where you can see they provide a shuttle car every 10–15 minutes from early morning until 11:30 pm. This takes you from reception to buildings 3 and 19, which helps avoid most of the incline, but you’ll still have some stairs during your stay. If you have limited mobility, very young children requiring pushchairs, or simply don’t enjoy walking up a set of stairs, this might not be the best choice for you. Otherwise, beautiful, clean, friendly staff, great location. I’d happily return.

The hotel staff were absolutely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing, with a great variety of food and a beautiful sea view. The location is very good, just a short walk from the beach. However, the beach itself is not great compared to European beaches – the water is quite dirty, has an unpleasant smell, and it’s really not suitable for swimming. Still, the views from the hotel are stunning and the photos look incredible. There’s also the Fuga Bar just below the hotel, where we had two fantastic evenings with great music and atmosphere. We had a sea view room with an extra charge, but it wasn’t very clean, and the biggest issue was the loud air conditioning, which made it hard to get a good night’s sleep. Overall though, the hotel grounds are beautiful and we had a very pleasant stay.

I stayed at Diamond Cliff Resort and Spa for one week and had an excellent experience. The resort is beautifully located on a hillside with stunning sea views, offering a peaceful atmosphere while still being close to Patong. The room was spacious, elegant, and very comfortable, with impeccable daily housekeeping. The staff were genuinely warm, professional, and consistently attentive across all areas of the resort. The facilities are outstanding—large, well-maintained pools, an excellent spa, and a high-quality breakfast with great variety and beautiful views. The resort has a refined, classic feel that balances luxury and comfort perfectly. I would happily return and highly recommend Diamond Cliff Resort and Spa to anyone visiting Phuket.
