Large rooms with sea view and outside bath amazing but large rooms only have one Aircon unit that is not enough. Too hot in rooms. Lovely museum hotel with history going back to 1557.

In Paje one of the best quality price locations. Everybody writes about the tide but that is up to you when you plan your travel. Cannot control nature, but understand it is a big factor if unknown.. In general we were very happy.. Very peaceful, stuff all very nice..

Perfect location with best service! Staff is very kind and helpful. Resort is beautiful and clean. Food was delicious. I loved the lady who makes omelet! Egon who manages customer requests is very polite, good in communication and handling requests. As soon as I arrived, Egon explained me resort map and timings which was very helpful. I never had this service in any other resorts. I was a solo traveller and Egon helped me get to know surrounding activities and arranged car service. You can enjoy quite time for yourself without anyone bothering you! Kite surfing school is located in the resort private beach- very helpful and kind team. Beautiful private beach! Rooms are cute little hut kind of style. Loved my stay!

My recent stay at Dhow Inn in Zanzibar was nothing short of extraordinary. Upon arrival, the serene ambiance of Dhow Inn instantly embraced me. The hotel's design, a harmonious blend of modern and traditional elements, was both elegant and comforting. Each day began with the sun casting its golden rays across the Indian Ocean, visible from my well-appointed room that boasted a private balcony overlooking the pool. The culinary experience at Dhow Inn was a highlight. The breakfast, a delightful spread of continental and Continetal options, was a perfect start to each day. What i loved more the croissants. They make fresh everyday! But the real culinary journey began at dinner, where the flavors of Zanzibar came to life in beautifully presented, scrumptious dishes. The freshness of the local seafood was particularly noteworthy, and every meal felt like a celebration of Zanzibar's rich culinary heritage. The hotel has also one of the best sushi restaurant i ve ever tried and probably the best in Zanzibar. What made my stay truly memorable was the impeccable service. The staff, with their genuine warmth and attentiveness, went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. They were not just staff but became ambassadors of Zanzibari hospitality, making me feel more like a cherished guest than a mere traveler. The hotel's location also offered easy access to a range of activities. From the tranquil beach steps away to the vibrant kite surfing scene, there was never a dull moment. Yet, the peacefulness of the hotel always provided a welcome retreat from the day's adventures. As I left Dhow Inn, I carried with me not just memories of a beautiful stay but a deep appreciation for the enchanting spirit of Zanzibar. It was more than a hotel; it was a haven of peace, a culinary delight, and a window into the soul of this magnificent island.
