An Unforgettable Maldives Experience! We spent 11 nights and 12 days at Dhigufaru Island Resort in Baa Atoll, and it was truly a dream vacation! From the moment we landed at Velana International Airport and boarded our Manta Air seaplane, everything felt like a movie scene. The view from the sky ,those turquoise lagoons and tiny islands was absolutely breathtaking. Our first three nights were in the Sangu Villa (Presidential Suite), which came with a private pool, a sauna room, and a beautiful honeymoon setup that made our arrival extra special. The villa was spacious, clean, and luxurious in every detail. After that, we moved to the Sunset Water Villa for the next nine days .The view of the ocean and sunsets from our deck was unreal. We even watched the rain from our balcony one evening, and it felt so peaceful. The food at the resort was top-notch, with a great variety ; Indian, Arabic, Thai, Chinese, and more. The buffet options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner were always fresh and flavorful. The activities were amazing — we went on a dolphin cruise, snorkeling, and kayaking. The staff even helped arrange a romantic candlelight dinner, which turned out to be one of the most memorable evenings of our trip. The hospitality deserves a special mention — every single staff member was warm, polite, and eager to make our stay perfect. Housekeeping and room service were excellent, and the pool bar was always lively with DJ nights and karaoke evenings Overall, Dhigufaru Island Resort made our Maldives trip unforgettable. Everything from the seaplane ride to the last goodbye was magical. Highly recommended for honeymooners, couples, or anyone looking for a peaceful luxury getaway in the Maldives! 💙

The island is about a 40 minute from Malé Airport. When we arrived, we were given food and asked to wait until our room was cleaned and ready. After a long trip, that wait felt quite exhausting. When we finally entered our villa, we found dirty towels folded as if they were fresh ones. The room definitely didn’t look like a 5-star property the renovation seemed quite old. Upon our request, the towels were replaced, but it took about an hour. We stayed in a water villa with a private pool, and as soon as we went outside, we noticed that the umbrella was broken. It also took a full day to have it replaced. The food was okay but not really enjoyable, especially the vegetables. The restaurant was clearly understaffed during busy hours, the service was very slow. Sometimes we received our drinks only by the end of the meal, or not at all. It was also very hot inside because the ceiling fans couldn’t handle the heat. For activities, we went snorkeling and fishing by boat those were nice experiences. There are other options as well, but not everything was working during our stay. There’s also a very small shop on the island with souvenirs and jewelry. There is a doctor’s office on the island, but we were never able to meet the doctor each time we were told they would call us back, and that never happened. It’s very important to bring personal hygiene products, especially for women, because there are none available on the island. I had an urgent situation and the staff didn’t know how to help. After several attempts, one of the female employees kindly offered her own help I’m very grateful to her for that. The biggest advantage of this place is definitely nature: the crystal clear water, the reef, and the white sand look just like the pictures on Pinterest. However, unfortunately, the downsides outweighed the positives.

Our stay at Dhigufaru Resort, Maldives was truly unforgettable! The island is breathtaking, with clear waters and beautiful villas. The food was delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to make our holiday perfect. Special thanks to Niyaz, Ahmed, Shubham, Chef Ajinkya, Thilak, Akhil and Jalal for their warmth and amazing hospitality. Can’t wait to visit again!

The service is so nice, the weather the breeze the calmness…one would fall in love with it. You would be able to enjoy each and every moment here, best to visit as a couple or family. Over water villas are so cool, especially the one with pool. Had a really great time and adventure here @Dhigufaru Island Resort ❤️

Terrible holiday, the worst we've had. Unhygienic and not well maintained. The staff accept mouldy snorkeling equipment and flies/ ants on the food as normal. The furniture is old and stained and there is music until early hours of the morning. The stay here is terrible. Do not go
