We spent part of our honeymoon in this hotel and the experience was great. It was our very first time in Maldives and I think this hotel has everything someone going to Maldives looks for: beautiful azure water, white sand, a stunning sandbank, a great house reef with great marine life, an amazing all inclusive with really high quality food and top notch service.
Regarding the room, we stayed in the water villa 603, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. We were considering staying in a Lagoon pool villa, but it turned out that the best house reef is right in front of the water villas, so it was amazing to put your googles on and enjoy the amazing marine life right away: sharks, turtles and an endless amount fish of all types. So, despite I can not compare to other hotels in Maldives, Dhigali it is great for snorkeling. Dhigali also has a great dive center, one of the bests I've dived with. Special mention to Greg.
About the food, Dhigali exceeded my expectations. I've been in other all inclusives before and they don't get even close to Dhigali. The quality of the food is comparable to any good restaurant you pay a good amount of money for. Special mention to Battuta!
The service was also great, very friendly and nice.
Regarding the ambience: even though the hotel was 70% of capacity, it looked empty. Plenty of sunbeds and tables available all the time, which is great. I don't know where everyone was. However, at night I missed some more energy, despite the hotel does it's best offering live music/djs performances, just a very few guests would show up. So, at least during my stay, things were a bit too quiet for my taste at night at least.
Something I would improve: I don't know if it's due the increasing sea level, but it looks like the water is gaining terrain to the island, and because of that, some parts of the island look a bit ugly, and the management is trying to fix it with sandbags. Specially in some beach bungalows/villas that have many sandbags in the terrace. If I were staying at one of those beach villas, I would definitely complain.

I celebrated my 50th birthday here. We travel a lot and have already got to know some great hotels/resorts. The Dhigali Resort is the best we've come across so far. The various restaurants offer excellent cuisine and perfect service. The patisserie is unbeatable. The spa is marvellous and the treatments are fabulous. There is live music and great bars. Everything is taken care of here and you feel great. We would like to thank Chris (General Manager) and his team. We will be back as soon as possible. Best regards Monique & Axel

What to say! It’s beyond words, a magical experience that will be cherished forever. We had an incredible experience at the resort! The staff's hospitality was outstanding; they went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. From the warm welcome at check-in to the prompt assistance throughout our stay, every interaction was delightful. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the check-out experience was equally seamless. The dining options were fantastic, offering a diverse and delicious menu. A heartfelt thank you to Christian Szabo for consistently ensuring customer satisfaction; his dedication truly stood out. Kudos to Simba for the amazing animation that added a unique touch to our experience. Special appreciation to the entire team at Casper's Restaurant and all the bars/cafe – their warmth and service made our dining experiences memorable. Your staff's commitment to excellence is commendable, creating a lasting impression on our stay.. The resort's commitment to customer satisfaction was evident in every aspect. Ending our stay with Christmas tree decorations on the beach was truly amazing. It added a special festive touch that made our experience even more memorable. I highly recommend this paradise for anyone seeking a luxurious and rejuvenating getaway. Thank you for a truly memorable stay – we can't wait to return!

The snorkelling reef was spectacular along the west coast. the water is so warm and an incredible colour and then onto the reef with a dramatic drop away. We saw every colour fish available. We also swam with Eagle and Sting rays, reef sharks, Turtles, Octopus and Moray Eels. Fantastic. We had Beach Villas 330, 331 and 332 and they were incredible. Modern, well maintained and a step onto the beach and swimming on the reef.
The All inclusive package was brilliant. We had bottles of Vodka, Gin, Whisky, Wine, Beer all in the room and replaced if emptied. So lovely to walk around the island, the restaurants were good especially Battuta.
Capers was a great location and setting for breakfast and lunch and the service was superb. I especially enjoyed our Eggs Benedict every morning. The pastry chef was a genius too!
Special mention to Jallal who looked after us everyday on the beach and Shaana on reception who had the prettiest smile you will ever see and made us all feel so happy to be at Dhigali. She worked so hard and was a great advertisement for the pride she had of Dhigali. We thought it was great that the general manager, Christian was so welcoming and always visible.
We have, as an adult family of six, so many memories but the one that keeps coming back is the unique setting on the bean bags at Haali Bar, watching the sunset with all of our very happy fellow islanders. The best evenings everytime

It was my first time on the Maledives and I'm very happy that we were so lucky with the choice of our resort. Everything was perfectly organized... starting from pick up on Malé airport and the warm welcome at the island till our departure... the staff was always friendly and helpful, everything was clean and the food was amazing (I posted some photos under the restaurants @GoogleMaps). We especially loved the Café for late breakfast or an afternoon snack.
The island and different food and drinks locations never seemed to crowded leading to an overall relaxing atmosphere.
I would highly recommend Dhigali!
P.S. be prepared for moscitos.
