Currently here and it is absolutely amazing! This is our 8th visit and it has been magical. All the staff are truly amazing! Those that stand out are the play makers always making the party what it is! Candice is so good at getting those involved! Bella is one of my favorites she always is so happy to see us and get us involved in the party! Bam bam is amazing always happy to see us and has the most energy and amazing play maker! Pina is always so up beat and happy. We also love the newer playmakers like chocolate and Antonella very happy and willing to start the party! The bartenders are so inviting and friendly Johnathan, Jesus, Antonio ever, Jenny, Ivan, Miguel are all amazing and remember our drink orders. Daylan, Axel, and Gustavo have become like family to us always so happy to see us and soooooo great at their jobs! Julio, jusiff , Africa, and Eduardo are such amazing waiters always taking the best care of us!

Always a great experience! The atmosphere, people and staff are amazing. All the playmakers (Bella, Pina, Leo, Antonella, Candice, Bambam and Isaac) are constantly bringing the fun and involving all the guest. The bar tenders are attentive and somehow remember everyone’s individual orders. One huge call out is for Candice - she is the best, flipping, dancing, singing; she does it all. Made me step out of my comfort zone and participate in the fun daily pool festivities! Definitely worth a fun get away!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Desire Riviera Maya. The vibe is chill and sexy, the food is delicious, and the entire staff is excellent, from housekeeping to restaurants, to the lobby. Special mention goes to the Playmaker crew of Pina, Antonella, Bella, Candice, Bam Bam, and Mauricio who are always super friendly, entertaining, and fun. They are just overall amazing people. We also wish to thank our butlers Rafael and Daniel, and the lovely restaurant hostesses Eunice, Yasmin, Letsi, and Stephanie.

My wife and I just got back from yet another EPIC trip at DRM. We tried the Ocean View room this time and it did not disappoint. This resort and staff create a perfect mixture of romantic, intimate, social and party environments. The beauty is the guests get to chose their own journey here. No matter what vibe you seek one thing is guaranteed, that you and your partner will create stronger bonds, meet amazing people from all over the world, and feel more connected than ever. Every staff member is amazing however we have to give props to the staff that go above and beyond and have mastered their craft. Those staff members are Carlos at the disco/hot tub. He is a legendary bartender. Africa at the pool. She’s a mind reader, remembers the guests preferred drinks and already has a fresh one incoming before you even have to ask. Jorge at Suki and the after hours grill is very polite and helps create at good cuisine experience. The playmakers Bella, Mauricio, Pina and Bambam are truly amazing, talented and create the best party environment. Vegas is NOTHING compared to the environment these playmakers create. Lastly, the performers at night will make your jaws drop with how talented they are. Guests beware, once you come here you will not want to go to any other resorts!

As first-time visitors, we were very disappointed by our experience. It became clear that non-members are treated differently, which took away from what should have been an enjoyable vacation. The biggest issue was the pool. There were never any chairs available, no matter how many times we checked. What we eventually learned is that if you want a spot at the busy pool, you need to give a large tip to Teran. Guests shouldn’t have to pay extra just to get access to basic amenities they’ve already paid for. To make matters worse, members of our group got sick more than once during our stay, which only added to our disappointment. Between the lack of pool access, the apparent pay-to-get-a-chair system, and getting sick, we will not be returning. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and improves the experience for all guests.
