Me and my partner stayed here so we could see the Rally Canaria. Modern , clean , polite staff . Breakfast was good with plenty of choice . And the dining room is the vaults of what was a bank . Our room did have a door on the bathroom.... The 12th floor terrace offers 360deg views of the port and countryside. Plenty of places within a 5 minute walk to eat and drink at . The only minor niggle was our TV had every European channel except any English speaking ones .... Gary .

This is a nice hotel run by friendly staff. It is in a good location that allows you to walk to anywhere in La Palmas in max 25 mins. The beds are comfortable including the pillows! The shower is very good and in the room I stayed in (808) on the 8th floor it was quiet. The bank theme makes it a bit different and I liked it as it was better than the normal boring decor of thousands of hotels. The breakfast was excellent. I went in February. I recommend it to you.

The hotel is a bit ridiculous - first of all, they don’t have a pool: it’s a small box with water and it’s not even convenient getting in or out! So for the elderly, kids, it’s a non starter. Then, the roof terrace provides a nice view but the last night we were here we were told they were having a “private party” and we were NOT welcome - as paying guests of the hotel!!! I’ve travelled all around the world and stayed at many (luxury) hotels, but never have I been refused to use hotel facilities as a paying guest, over persons from outside. We were asked to leave and go to the other side and sit on plastic Lounge chairs by the pool, which is not for seating. When I asked to speak to the manager, he/she never showed up. The bathroom in the room is not a bathroom, it’s a toilet in a shower stall with a shower next to it - no privacy at all, just the cheapest way of making it a hotel room with en-suite. The location is fine, you’re basically in the centre with a busy road in front of the hotel but if you’re on a high floor it’s not too loud. Few min walk from the beach, and nice central location (public parking, Corte ingles etc). Breakfast was good, nice variety. The breakfast personnel and cleaning ladies are very nice and they made the stay def worth it. The hotel is not worth its 4 stars, it’s a 3 star hotel max. Lastly, the hotel is very clean - which is not a given everywhere in GC!

A Lawson

Great central location close to beach, shops and restaurants. The majority of staff were really helpful and some required to be more attentive and friendly. We stayed for 6 nights in room 907. Great view of city. Our bedding and towels changed daily, though not thoroughly cleaned daily. Just at beginning and end of stay. Rooftop bar is sadly underutilised. Beautiful views-Great potential to expand and perhaps serve for bar snacks with a bit of outdoor heating in cooler evenings. Continental breakfast had something to suit everyone. We asked about a 20 min slightly later checkout for next day and were told straightaway no. A microwave at breakfast would be a bonus and more cheerful/helpful staff. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay at Bex, but there is some room for improvement, It is ideal for couples or business customers on a short city break.

First impression was awful. There was this young lady at reception when we arrived. She seemed very annoyed and unkind from beginning. Not very welcoming. After that, the first room we got, it had very thick, uncomfortable air. It felt like the air-conditioning was broken or something... Okay. When was the time to go sleep, a extremely bad cigarette smell filled our entire room. We went to the reception and told them about this issue. They did nothing about it. We went back to our room. Now we called very angry and demanded them to change our room. Then we got new room. All in all, there were some dirt in the rooms so next time you should put more effort, resources and money into it. Clean rooms are a must! Veronica was the only reason we changed our minds about the entire hotel. She was very welcoming, friendly, helpful and understanding. So after a not so good experience, we kindly thank you anyway.
