Overall, the hotel left a good impression. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and the service is fast and friendly — the staff really try, and that’s a big plus. However, there is a serious downside: the hotel guides are very pushy. It really ruins the experience. If I want to book an excursion or any service, I will come and ask myself. Constantly offering, persuading, and pushing different tours is unpleasant. About the massage: we discussed the time and conditions for a long time, but in the end the massage was shorter than what was agreed. That is not a small mistake — that is dishonesty. It’s also very bad when they promise one thing, but in reality you get something completely different. Conclusion: the hotel itself is good and the service is at a high level, but the work of the guides and aggressive selling seriously spoil the overall impression. I hope the management will pay attention to this.

5 Star resort visit. 2 weeks over Christmas and new year it was amazing! we had a fabulous holiday. The resort has a smart luxury style and has a casual formal vibe allowing you to truly relax in very well kept facilities. The gardens are beautiful and all the staff are professional and attentive. The all inclusive is amazing the choice of fresh foods everyday suited all of our dietary needs. The resort is large with plenty of different pools, plenty of available sun loungers and comfortable talk easy bars. The large lagoon beach is stunning and the Bella Vista was my favourite place on the resort for great all inclusive coffees and cocktails. The 2 rooms we had were fresh, modern, comfort and very clean, everyday we all slept really well and had quiet beautiful garden view from our balconies. There was 24 hour security staff throughout the resort, we felt safe and well looked after by staff throughout our stay. Definitely recommend 😎

This was my fourth time in Egypt and my second stay at Desert Rose Resort, and once again everything was absolutely perfect. The cleanliness is impeccable – not only in the rooms, but throughout the entire resort. The beach is beautiful, with a lagoon that is ideal for children, while adults who enjoy more active swimming will also find plenty of space and opportunities. It feels like there are countless pools, spread over large areas, so it is always easy to find free sunbeds. Each pool has its own theme – a kids’ pool, a quiet pool, a pool with a swim-up bar, and an aqua park. During the day, there are plenty of organized activities you can join if you wish. Food is available everywhere, and it is slightly better than in other hotels in Egypt where I have stayed. However, what truly sets this hotel apart from all others is the staff. Their kindness, willingness to help, and genuine dedication to guests are exceptional. They would go to the ends of the earth to make your stay even better – such level of care is very rare. We had a small misunderstanding regarding the New Year’s Eve celebration, as we were told at reception that no reservation was needed, but at the entrance it turned out that it was required. The issue was resolved in less than five minutes, and we ended up having an amazing New Year’s Eve – an evening so wonderful that I can hardly find the words to describe it. Everyone makes mistakes, but what truly distinguishes this hotel is how quickly and efficiently they correct them. If you are considering where to stay in Egypt, whether with your family or friends, trust me – Desert Rose is the right choice.

This is not just a resort, but one of the top resorts we have ever experienced as a family. What makes it so special, the people! From reception to restaurant, from pool to beach, from start to finish they were simply amazing! There are many options for everyone! The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. Thank you to everyone in DR that made our stay unforgettable, especially to Aya, who took care of us at every moment.

The main areas of the resort is beautiful, such as the pools and the lobby. However the food is terrible, lacks variety and lacks flavour. The wait staff in the restaurants are rude and not very helpful. The staff around the rooms are very polite and helpful. The guard outside our rooms was very friendly and pleasant. The a la carte restaurants: Del Mar, the staff are rude and the food is terrible. Fatoosh, the staff are really friendly and warm and welcoming and the food is fantastic from starters to dessert, we loved it. The rooms claim to be upgraded but they are definitely not anything close to what a 5 star should be. It’s actually very badly maintained. We had two rooms and at some point, both rooms had no hot water. We had cold to lukewarm showers. That is unacceptable for a 5 star. Overall the only thing 5 star about this resort is the lobby. It’s actually very deceiving because you expect the same quality throughout. The resort realistically should be a 3 star at best. From service, to food and to the facilities.
