We planned for a 2 nights stay. Have been an incredible stay with lots memories we gathered. Special shout to the amazing staff who had always been cheerful and supportive from the front desk, pool, pool bar, beach life guard, kids play areas and all of the ones in the restaurant. The food in the palm was tasty however a variation on the choice of menu is advisable. Been "Anantara" we expected to have a bit more organized specially during dinner in "The Palm" and the amenities inside the room could have been a bit more cleaner like Fan had spider web and balcony was not very clean. Further, in the teens club there should be arrangement of water. It was appreciated that water was provided as and when needed in glass bottles, however there should be options for self refill stations as the guests need not be waiting when they are thirsty during rush time. Safari is just awesome and one should try it early morning to avoid the heat in summer and also to get a glimpse of the animals being fed which is the only time you could catch them in groups. Overall 5 ***** only because of STAFFS !!!!!!

Fantastic resort for families (small but manned kids club) and simply if you will like to walk along the beach side or dip into the huge pool. The other two Anatara resorts can also be visited (free rides) if you will like to expand your options for meals, particular of note is the Savannah Restaurant which brings you closer to the gazelles as you dine (which is a good mix of experience since this resort is nowhere near wildlife). The Safari tour i will give it an average honestly (cost to value), with a highlight of giraffes and zebra spotted. The most interesting part of it for me is how they are attempting to green the hills on the island, which is not an easy task (lack of rain makes the soil too high in salt and minerals). The cheetah is in its own enclosure (of course, as the safari jeeps isn't caged in itself) and the roaming animals are the peaceful ones.

We stayed for two nights at Anantara Desert Islands Resort and had a beautiful experience overall. The highlight of our trip was definitely the safari with Mr. Nawaz. He is one of the best guides we’ve ever met so knowledgeable and passionate about the island’s nature and wildlife. He went out of his way to help us spot a giraffe, taking us on a long and adventurous ride until we finally saw one! Our entire group was so happy. Truly grateful for his dedication he’s doing an amazing job! The resort itself is peaceful, with stunning views of the sea and nature all around. The hospitality from the staff was warm and welcoming. Only suggestion would be to improve the manpower during the breakfast buffet service was a bit slow and coordination could be better, especially when it came to cutlery and table setup. Other than that, it was a relaxing and refreshing stay. Would definitely recommend!

An amazing experience for sure. Had a warm welcome from the staff from the minute we parked our car at the dock and the awesome service till we reached back. There was a nice Indonesian lady at the reception who accomodated all our needs with great professionalism. The rooms were great with an awesome view of the ocean. The safari is "A MUST". Jonathan our guide did an amazing job giving us insights about the island and the animals. The animals were the highlight and waking up with the view of a deer prancing around the garden was so refreshing compared to the bustling city life. A must visit resort for those in the country and those visiting too. Kudos to the team!

The worst experience despite paying 25000 AED 3 nights for a private villa with pool. The moment we arrived at the resort around 430 pm the manager surprised us by saying the villa was not yet ready. Offered free lunch bcas of delay. Again great disappointment once we got the access to the villa by 6 pm. Very bad smell like it has not been rented or cleaned for a long time. Few more issues as listed below - curtains for all rooms not closing properly. - bathroom showers despite normal setting gives you a very hot bath suddenly. - no direct beach access as mentioned in booking - swimming pool dirty - breakfast in palms very bad and the supervisor from Italy very bad behaviour. I would recommend to go for al yammam or sahel villa as if spending so much money Only good thing is location and privacy. -
