Let me preface this, by saying, I am stumped by the one star reviews for this hotel!
The Delano is an elegant yet unpretentious hotel. Upon entering, we were greeted by a lovely scent - (vanilla and amber?) and our experience continued along a positive trajectory.
Our room was nicely appointed. The bed and pillows, comfortable. We enjoyed good sleep quality. Everything in the room worked as it should, water pressure was perfect and the room was spotless.
Some folks have complained about the cost of the minibar and bottled water = don’t use it.
We would definitely stay here again.

My biggest complain with this hotel is the hours of the pool. They closed at 6 pm and it was 103F degrees outside. I know they are trying to pull people to the casinos rather than the pools. I get it, but hey, 7 pm at least!!
Also the staff didn’t know anything about hours, basic information, directions, etc. I never saw a manager in any area. Just poor staff figuring out their job by themselves. Need more training. Need leadership.
A bit dusty in the rooms, again leadership checking their job and training well.
Anyway, view was good, location good, casino good, restaurants good (but pricey) ‘food in Vegas is cheap’ is a myth.
Delano definitely nicer and cleaner than the Mandalay and MGM Grand.
And btw, the room dining food is pretty good! I haven’t compliment in room dining in a long time. And I will say this one is better than many other big and famous hotels around. Very satisfying! (Of course a bit pricey, but with this one you don’t regret) :)

This place was amazing. A great addition to the Mandalay family. Having access to the Mandalay Beach is a key amenity. This has been the first time going to Vegas in 3yrs and this time we brought the new addition to our family. Our 3yr old loved the pool and the lazy river. I felt safe with the life guards in the area. But the room service was delicious, and the access to the other hotels was convenient as well as taking the tram! Saved us from the heat.

This was my first time at Delano as a MGM rewards member and I stayed here on a comp. I have to say my entire 4 days here was amazing. My king suite scenic room was perfect and extremely relaxing. House keeping was super friendly and helpful and front desk staff are amazing helping with any issues. The bed was extremely comfortable. My only issue is that you do not have free coffee and cannot use the refrigerator without being charged $50 dollars but other then that I'll stay here again

Loved our stay here. The room was clean and spacious. One of the few hotel beds that was actually comfortable. HUGE bathtub! I mean ridiculously large. Two adults can fit side by side. Loved being able to walk downstairs to a selection of restaurants and the spa was also a great experience.
