Long time MGM rewards member, first time at the W since changing over from Delano. Still making most of the more substantial changes but everything is gorgeous. The check-in was flawless and quick. The lobby is very quiet and relaxing due to being so far offset from MB casino floor. I had a comped King Suite but they upgraded me to a Scenic Suite for free. Room was beautiful although I was only on the 3rd floor so the view was average. A full suite with a good-sized living room and large bedroom with panoramic windows. Bathroom was very large as well. Obviously no casino in the W but it's a 3 minute walk to MB casino floor. Only downside is you're on the far south side of the Strip but I like walking up through the casinos until Bellagio/Cosmo anyways. I highly recommend this place as it's beautiful and often costs less than other similar/worse properties because of the southern location. Definitely will go back.

The Delano was one of the best hotels that I have stayed in. I had a wonderful experience! The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. The room was clean, modern, and well-equipped with all the amenities I needed. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel’s location was perfect—close to local attractions and public transport, making it easy to explore the area. I also enjoyed the on-site restaurant, which offered delicious food and great service. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and I would definitely recommend hotel Delano to anyone visiting the area. Will certainly stay here again on my next trip!

Absolutely disappointing for a “5-Star” hotel! Our experience at the W Hotel Las Vegas was horrible, and I can’t believe this is considered a five-star hotel. From start to finish, everything was a mess. We waited almost three hours just to check in. When we asked about the room, they gave us a completely different one than what we were told. The lack of organization was shocking. The cleanliness of the room was disgusting. There were urine stains on the toilet, thick dust everywhere, and awful stains on the furniture. Even worse, the shower curtain was rotten. We had to ask for a new one and change it ourselves. It felt like we were staying in a cheap motel. The shower only had scalding hot water—it was so hot, we almost got burned. There was no warm water, and it took 10 minutes of running it just to cool it down a little. It was nearly impossible to control the temperature. The hallways are poorly lit with red lights that make the place look like a horror movie. My mom almost fell because it was so dark. How can a hotel ignore basic safety like this? This hotel was a complete disappointment. If Marriott cares about their reputation, they need to train or replace their housekeeping staff and fix the maintenance issues. This place is nowhere near five-star quality and felt more like a run-down motel. I do not recommend staying here, and I would never come back.

Stayed four nights in the two Queen bed suite. The service, room size and everything in between was perfect. No complaints! Will definitely be back the next time we’re in Vegas. What a great location for spending NYE.

Let me preface this, by saying, I am stumped by the one star reviews for this hotel! The Delano is an elegant yet unpretentious hotel. Upon entering, we were greeted by a lovely scent - (vanilla and amber?) and our experience continued along a positive trajectory. Our room was nicely appointed. The bed and pillows, comfortable. We enjoyed good sleep quality. Everything in the room worked as it should, water pressure was perfect and the room was spotless. Some folks have complained about the cost of the minibar and bottled water = don’t use it. We would definitely stay here again.
