My friend and I stayed at the San Antonio Hotel for a week. The hotel is beautiful and spacious. The cleaning team is of the highest standard. The food is very good, the waiters and kitchen staff are kind and helpful. Manager Zii made sure we had a good stay. The bartenders were very nice and friendly, made great drinks and looked very elegant. The entire staff looked elegant and classy. Our stay was excellent 😊

We would like to give a very special mention to Bishnu, who works at the main bar in the hotel. From the very first day of our stay, Bishnu went out of his way to look after my wife and me. He was always smiling, polite, and genuinely interested in making sure we were enjoying our time. He remembered exactly what Sunita and I liked to drink, checked on us personally, and made sure everything was perfect whenever we visited the bar. It was not just about serving drinks. It was his attitude, his warmth, and his sincere care that really stood out. Bishnu made us feel truly welcome and comfortable, more like guests in his own home rather than just another couple on holiday. That level of personal service makes a real difference and adds something special to the whole experience. Staff like Bishnu are a true credit to the db San Antonio Hotel. He clearly takes great pride in his work, and it shows in everything he does. His professionalism, kindness, and friendly nature created a wonderful atmosphere around the bar area and made our evenings there even more enjoyable. My wife and I would happily return to this hotel again, and a big reason for that is the outstanding service we received from people like him. We kindly ask the hotel management to please pass this message on to Bishnu. Our sincere thanks to him. His excellent service and genuine kindness truly made our stay in Malta memorable and special. Looking for a last minute all-inclusive deal in early January, when we spotted this hotel. We booked direct with the hotel and were pleasantly surprised to find our room was more spacious than we'd expected (I would go so far as to say we may have even been upgraded). When checking in, we had a number of questions about how things worked in the hotel and Fabio was extremely patient with us (even when we went back a third time!) We found all the staff friendly, sociable and helpful; from the concierge to the barman, the room staff to the kitchen staff - everyone wanted us to have a great time. Special mention to Babar who we chatted to every day in the main restaurant and Iryna who cooked the omelettes. There was an excellent variety of food at all meal times on offer in the main restaurant and we also enjoyed a couple of buffet dinners in Tagine. The hotel is only a couple of minutes walk from the bus station, the hotel can help you book taxis and they even offered us a free transfer to/from the airport. All-in-all we had an incredible time, the hotel seemed to us VERY good value and we would definitely go back.

We had an exceptional experience, largely thanks to our waitress, Sree. The buffet hall is expansive, offering an impressive variety of dishes, but what truly stood out was Sree's dedication to her guests. From the moment we arrived, she greeted each individual warmly, making everyone feel valued and welcomed. Her attentiveness was remarkable; she consistently checked in to ensure we had everything we needed. Not only did she provide excellent service, but she also took the time to share recommendations about local attractions, enhancing our overall experience. The hotel itself boasts stunning sea views, adding to the ambiance of our lunch.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel over Christmas. It’s worth noting that the property is popular with families and children, so if you’re looking for a quieter atmosphere, this may not be the ideal choice. During our visit, most guests were from England and Poland, with others from France, Germany, and across Europe. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. We booked through TUI as part of a package, which included a seamless airport transfer. The gym, indoor pool, and sauna were clean and well-maintained. The gym is also open to non-hotel guests, so it may not always be empty, but during our stay it was never overcrowded. Visiting the pool and sauna during adult-only hours (which I wish lasted longer) was wonderfully relaxing compared to the chaos when children were around - running, playing, and treating the sauna like a revolving door. Food at the buffet restaurants was good, though Tagine stood out for its authentic restaurant feel we enjoyed it the most. A special mention goes to Dembo, who made our dining experience at Saboroso Restaurant truly exceptional. Room cleaning was excellent, thank you to the housekeeping team for their hard work. Entertainment was enjoyable, but seating can be limited, so arriving early is recommended. A big thank you to the staff member who kindly brought chairs for guests who were standing, such a thoughtful gesture that made us feel very welcome. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch his name, but I hope the hotel management recognises his efforts.
