An absolutely exceptional stay. The staff is incredibly helpful, attentive, and truly goes above and beyond to make every guest feel special. The quality of the services is outstanding. A very special thank you to Are, who welcomed us so warmly and surprised us with a suite upgrade for our honeymoon — a gesture that meant a lot to us and made our stay even more memorable. The hotel is stunning, full of authentic Thai charm, beautifully designed with great taste and attention to every detail. The atmosphere is elegant and luxurious without being over the top. The breakfast is excellent, and the beachfront bars with their cocktails are amazing — everything is perfectly thought out for a dream stay. The location is ideal: all shops nearby, right next to the lively party street yet perfectly quiet and peaceful. I will definitely return every time I come back to Koh Samui, without hesitation.

A nice hotel with very friendly and attentive staff that anticipates your needs. Room was big, with a small safe and each room has its own wifi, pretty front patio has koi ponds where can sit and feed fish. Pool is small but the beach is where you want to swim anyway. The included breakfast buffet is jawdropping, So many good thai and western food options, each day has something unique. Its hard not to start the day overeating. Walk to night life and markets, but quiet at resort for sleeping. The flight path is almost overhead but its only during day time and not many planes, so its a non issue. Thank you to everyone at Dara, you have created something very special here!

Amazing stay at Dara Samui! Everything about our experience was perfect - from the warm service and delicious food to the unbeatable location right on the beach. We arrived quite late at night after a long flight, exhausted and starving, and were welcomed with huge smiles and genuine kindness by Abigail and her lovely colleague Cartoon at the reception. Even though it was already very late, they made the check-in process smooth, pleasant, and full of positive energy. While our room was being prepared, we went to eat something, and when we came back, they were still waiting in the lobby to personally hand us the key and give us a detailed explanation about the room and hotel facilities. Throughout our stay, it was always such a pleasure to bump into them again - both of them are so warm, friendly, and professional. They truly made our stay feel personal and memorable. The hotel’s location is excellent, the breakfast was delicious, and every member of the staff we met was smiling and helpful. Highly recommended - we’ll definitely return!

This level of service is a credit to the leadership of Mas (General Manager) and Bobby (Operations Manager). They lead by example, providing personal care tailored for your needs and possessing an incredible touch for noticing each guest's preferences. They, along with their team, consistently aim to exceed your expectations, making every part of our stay effortless and special. ​🧘‍♀️ Oasis of Relaxation: ​For those seeking peace, the resort is an absolute dream. As an adults-only resort, it's perfect for a romantic vacation and relaxation. The quiet pool area is a genuine sanctuary—without loud music, it's truly great for unwinding. ​🍽️ Dining and Accommodation: ​The resort is steeped in tradition, featuring beautiful traditional Thai architecture and decoration. Our room was super clean and meticulously maintained. A major highlight was the food! The great breakfast that changed daily was a delight, offering variety and freshness. We often dined at the Dara Serene Restaurant, which has plenty of options, both local and Western, all made fresh and delicious. ​Dara Beach Resort isn't just a place to stay; it's an experience built on genuine warmth and dedication. This is a perfect place if you plan a short Koh Samui visit or, even better, a long relaxing vacation. We cannot wait to return!

Lovely stay and great place for us to end our trip! Cartoon was friendly, welcoming and hospitable. There was a meet together cocktail party which Cartoon hosted very well. She remembered our names from the first interaction! Rooms and bathroom were very clean and bedding was comfortable to sleep in. Designs and decor was very thought out. Did not have any issues with external noises so sleep was perfect. Breakfast was also included and had a good variety. Overall recommend to stay at Dara Samui in Koh Samui and big thanks to Cartoon.
