This was my second time staying at Greenbay Resort and Spa , and it truly feels like coming home. What makes this place special isn’t just the facilities, but the people - the team here quickly become more like friends, creating an atmosphere that is both welcoming and safe, especially for solo travelers like me. I had so many new experiences this time: I learned how to paddleboard with the amazing water sports team, played lively games of blackjack, and ended my evenings vibing to live music under the stars. The animation team, led by Sinan, kept the days exciting with fun activities and unforgettable beach volleyball games. At the adult pool, the music and chilled atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax and recharge. Fancy yoga or aqua aerobic? Be there at 10am! The food, under Mehmet’s management, was consistently excellent - full of variety and quality. The spa was another highlight, where Serap gave me the best deep tissue massage I’ve ever had. Every detail here is looked after with such care. Greenbay has the rare ability to make you feel like you belong. I may be heading back to Scotland, but it feels like I’m leaving my home in my beloved Turkey. Thank you to everyone who made this stay so special - I can’t wait to return❤️

The hotel’s location is excellent, rooms are clean and tidy, and room service works flawlessly. The food is varied and delicious, and the sea is clean and enjoyable for swimming. The hotel is ideal for a family vacation and I definitely recommend it. I do have two small suggestions for improvement. It would be helpful if the management organized a meeting with the staff to ensure that all guests receive service equally and on time. For example, at the waffle station, my sister had to wait 15 minutes because Turkish guests (local residents) were served before her, even though they arrived later. I believe there is no need for such practice, as the hotel is international and all guests should be treated equally. Also, I would strongly recommend clearly labeling or separating all cakes and pastries that contain peanuts, for the safety of guests with allergies. Despite these minor issues, the overall experience was wonderful and I would gladly come back again.

This hotel was a big disappointment and is definitely NOT 5*. It started on the first day, we went as a family and they allocated our rooms in different parts of the hotel so we kindly asked to be put in the same building at least. They accepted this and all seemed fine but when we got to our rooms, 2 of them had no WiFi so as I saw a member of staff that we had spoken to before near our rooms I asked if I could have a word with him once he was free. He gave me a weird look and responded with “okaaaay” as if what I just said was abnormal. Then he came to our room and couldn’t get the WiFi to work and said he was going to speak with technical support. As this was the start of our holiday I really didn’t want to drag this issue as he couldn’t really give us a timeframe of when it would be solved, so I told him we did need to solve the issue otherwise be given different rooms, as we need to work and 100% require internet for it. He said for us to go back to reception so we went and didn’t even bother to lead us there and just left and as we were new to the hotel we got lost trying to find reception. When we eventually found it we were told that they would get the problem solved but when I asked when this was going to be they said they didn’t know. Again we require internet and we couldn’t be left with a simple “I don’t know” so we pressed this to the reception staff, who after a lot of back and forth said the issue was solved in one of the rooms and the other, they offered to swap with another room. We went back to our rooms and the WiFi was still not working in the room they said it was so again we went to reception. I spoke to another lady who did not speak English with me and just spoke Turkish with her colleagues whilst laughing (this ended up happening more times by different members of staff throughout the hotel). I didn’t know what’s going on and eventually the person we were speaking to before showed up and they very impatiently decided to come with us to the room to check for themselves again. The room only caught WiFi in a specific corner and this was not on the bed or in the main section of the room. It also barely worked. We were told they had no more rooms to swap and the WiFi was working, which is ridiculous considering it was working in a specific corner only and very weakly. We argued this and they said to go speak to our agency. So I went to reception again this time to speak to any management staff. The first person said they cannot offer another room , then I said I was not leaving there until you give another room, then someone else came, I explained the situation again, and another room was given. This room now had WiFi. We were left with a very bad impression from the start, especially with the lack of customer service from the reception staff. Particularly Ibrahim and Yusuf were particularly bad with their customer service, but to be honest we felt that it was a problem of the hotel overall. The hotel is not 5* no matter how you look at it - dated, small rooms, repetitive food, breakfast time you are eating with the bees by the way. If you need anything , no one speaks English so it’s always a battle to ask for the simpliest things.No butter was left out in breakfast area several times and staff will not understand when you ask for it, once they pointed to the bottles of water , I was confused so they went to give them to me and when they finally understood what I wanted they all laughed with each right in my face, whilst speaking their own language. Again, I didn’t feel that the staff in this hotel had any sense of what costumer service is, and they will never apologise for nothing , no apology was given for any of these scenarios. Another time we went to reception to ask for the do not disturb sign for our door and they did not understand this, they laughed , spoke to each other in their own language , etc. eventually we used google translate and it worked but you need to do the effort, they will not do so. Especially reception staff I was really shocked with their lack of English.

We booked this hotel expecting a true 5-star experience, but in reality, it felt more like a 3-star property. The bathroom had visible mold, and the bed was uncomfortable, which made it difficult to rest properly. On top of that, it was very noisy — from 7 a.m. onwards we couldn’t sleep anymore, which ruined the chance of a relaxing holiday. Communication was another issue, as most of the staff did not speak English, which often led to confusion. The food was decent in taste, but very repetitive after a couple of days. Drinks were acceptable, though they definitely didn’t meet the standard I would expect from a 5-star resort. The location is also inconvenient — the hotel is far from Bodrum city, and we had to pay 30 euros each way just to get there. Overall, while it wasn’t a terrible stay, it certainly didn’t live up to the 5-star rating it advertises. I would classify it closer to a 3-star hotel.

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel in Bodrum for two weeks, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The food selection was truly impressive — fresh, varied, and delicious every single day. The beach was beautiful and well-maintained, perfect for relaxing or taking a swim in crystal-clear water. My room was always spotless, with housekeeping doing an excellent job throughout my stay. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive — nothing was ever too much to ask. I also really appreciated how safe and secure I felt during my stay, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a relaxing atmosphere in Bodrum.
