Overall, we had a nice holiday. There were plenty of activities, events, and generally friendly staff. The resort itself is huge, with lots of sunbeds and space for everyone. Evening entertainment was a plus — well-organized for both kids and adults. However, not everything met our expectations. A major issue was the language barrier — many staff members struggled to understand even basic English phrases, which made communication difficult at times. The room was also quite disappointing. There was very little space for suitcases, and the layout didn’t seem well thought out. The toilet flush didn’t work properly, and the windows were noticeably dirty. On top of that, there was an unpleasant smell, and the overall cleanliness was not at the level you’d expect from a high-standard hotel. Breakfast and lunch became repetitive after a few days. The food was okay but lacked variety. And while the desserts looked beautiful, they were quite bland — more about appearance than taste. The à la carte restaurant was by far the biggest disappointment. At first, things started off well — we were greeted nicely and the starters were very good. But from there, it went downhill. The staff clearly had no idea what they were doing. There was total chaos: they didn’t know what to serve, how much to serve, or to whom. We were shocked to receive one single plate of kebab to share between two people as a main course, while other guests received individual portions. It felt disorganized and unfair. On top of that, I had to ask twice for a glass of wine, while other guests got theirs immediately. The dessert situation was confusing too — we were served two completely different ones without any explanation, and they were underwhelming. The only consistently positive experience we had with staff was at the lobby— they were friendly, helpful, and professional throughout. In the end, it was an okay stay, but due to these issues, we won’t be returning.

It is advertised as 5 star but nowhere near 5 star! It is a clean hotel and advertised as family one however no animation for kids at all. I have never been in a hotel where there is no staff during the day for kids. Only kids club which is opened few hours a day and very boring, they promote to buy a t-shirt for kids to colour it for £15. Mini disco in the evening very repetitive, mostly spoken in Turkish and Russian which has been difficult, a bit of English spoken only. Very difficult to communicate with staff as they don't speak English, only senior staff are better. Sourrandings around the hotel is very pretty however it is in the middle of nowhere and was quite windy, pools are not heated and water quite cold for May/June. Rooms quite dated and not very specious but very clean. Food quite repetitive, desserts and cakes quite nice but small variety of hot lunch/dinner. The worst for kids was no entertainment, animation team very small and only interested in Adult pool and activities for adults,nothing for kids at all during the day. Was a nice stat but would not come back in the future.

We came to green bay for the first time as a family of 6 with young children, firstly the resort is beautiful and pleasant on the eye the surroundings are lovely and the staff are very pleasant. Positives: Clean rooms with cleaners coming in everyday although small with little room to put clothes and no iron available at all. Facilities are constantly cleaned around the resort. Spacious resort with plenty of places to sit and sunbathe, we never had an issue finding sunbeds both on the beach and around the pool. The drinks especially the cocktails were really good and made fresh. The waffles were a winner for the kids and the lady who spent most days there was lovely. Water sports easily available (at a fee). The food was good and made fresh however I wouldn't say it accommodates english very well, myself and my partner weren't fussed by this but we did miss some of the simple breakfast items and i personally think more fruit variety is needed. The food for children is the same every day so my children did get fed up of the same options. Negatives: No activities for families to do together, I have never been to a resort were there are no activities to do together as a family, volley ball, water polo, boules etc was for adults only so this immediately cancels out families as we can't just leave our children to participate. There is a full animation team but the only thinking for children is kids club which is indoors and the mini disco at night. Alot of staff speak very very little English which is again not something that bothered us however my children had no idea what was being said at mini disco as it was all in Turkish only. I'd asked for certain drinks and didn't always get what I asked for because some staff didn't understand English. The staff are lovely and welcoming but language is a barrier. The shop on the resort is ridiculously expensive for 4 bags of crisp it cost £20! There's not prices on some things and prices varied even though the same items were bought. The little water park was only open 10-12 and 2-4 but nowhere lifeguard so we felt that it should be open all the time as some families would prefer the smaller pool for younger children rather than the bigger one, unfortunately the small water park was not working for 3 days in a row.

I had a wonderful stay at Green Bay Resort in Bodrum! From the moment I arrived, I felt so welcomed and cared for. A special thanks to Can at reception—Also Vahdetting was incredibly friendly, helpful, and kind. When I arrived, he carried my luggage to my room with a warm smile, which made me feel right at home. I had a small problem with my suitcase (the zip was broken), and Can kindly fixed it without any hesitation. Throughout my stay, any problem when I went to the reception he and the rest of the staff were always ready to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality made a big difference and truly added to the comfort of my holiday. Thank you to everyone at Green Bay Resort for such a lovely experience. I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to coming back!

Hotel is lovely and well located. Really nice reception and the bar looked great too. Room was lovely and spacious with a nice bathroom.Every night some lovely show in the Theatre (Brazilian show,Turkish show,Disco show,Chinese show) Big thanks to Emen how was very lovely every single morning our breakfast thank you for your service and lovely smile your job is 5⭐️.Definitely recommend this hotel!
