From the beginning of our check in with Mario to the end of our stay he was amazing, so helpful, nothing was ever a problem if we had any questions. He's a bonus to the hotel. The hotel is absolutely spotless that's all I can say. Rooms so spacious and clean. They must have just put new carpets in hotel as it smelt amazing as you got out of lift. Food was absolutely beautiful, breakfast had everything you could ask for. Omelette on request. Staff were so pleasant. Location about 1.2km from marina but not an issue, you can ring an user for like 4euro. I would definitely come back and stay here. Have been to villamora a few times, stayed in a few hotels this by far was the best. Only thing, no entertainment until late at night like 10pm but it wasn't peak season when we were there so that was a bit boring. Wouldn't stop me from staying here again just if my daughters were coming need something at night for entertainment. TV was great you had English channels if you wanted to chill for an hour.

I wanted to write a surfing specific review for this hotel, as I would have found it helpful to have one beforehand. My wife and I stayed here in mid-February. I was really looking to have a holiday where I got to surf a few days, and I was on the fence about staying in Vilamoura as I know it isn't known for surfing. I am so glad we stayed here in the end. We split our time between here and Lagos, and this hotel was super nice and definitely actually 5 stars. The breakfast was phenomenal and it had a super nice gym and facilities. Obviously surfing depends on the swell, but there was swell the week I was here and I was able to surf all 3 days with very decent waves within 10 minutes driving from the hotel, to the right of the lighthouse. I rented a board from Vilamoura surf project which was cheap and easy, and the break near the hotel was definitely fun and surfable (3-4 ft when I was there). Decent place to take surf lessons and learn to surf as well, probably more in the winter than the summer. Highly recommend this hotel!

A luxurious hotel with spacious rooms and beautiful views. Breakfast is generous, with a big variety of choices. The staff is kind and helpful. It's a 1 minute walk from the beach, and even in January the weather was good enough for a walk. Cons: the hallways to the rooms have carpeted floors. It's completely outdated and not hygienic. I don't want to imagine the torture that the staff must suffer cleaning it during summer, with all the sand coming from the beach. Algarve region is suffering from drought. While I understand that a swimming pool full of water looks better, it is also paradoxical taking into consideration the ecological messages that are in the bathroom. It makes it worse if we take into consideration that this is off-season and there are 0 people swimming. This is relevant to all the other hotels around, but I stayed in yours, I found it very good and I believe that you have a lot of resources to think about this and find a solution.

I booked the presidential suite in this hotel without knowing how great it is. The hotel just opened again after winter break, was a bit short staffed, and we had the idea to invite 50 people to the suite like two hours before. The hotel was fantastic in accomodating the request, having a warm and cold buffet for everyone ready in no time. It's such a beautiful hotel. We loved our week's stay here. Lovely friendly staff that can't do enough for you. They spoke English. Breakfast was delicious and had everything you could think of. Cocktails are delicious too. Rooms are so big and very modern. The swimming pool area is so pretty and just 100 yards to walk to the sea. Love love this place, and hopefully we will be back.
