I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Dubai Deira for a short visit, and the location turned out to be very convenient—just a quick drive from the airport, ideal for a brief stopover. The property itself shows its age and could use some refreshing in certain areas, but the lobby and the renovated rooms on the second floor look much more modern and comfortable. I had requested one of the renovated rooms, and the team kindly accommodated my request, which I really appreciated. The service throughout my stay was excellent. I received a warm and genuinely friendly welcome at the front desk from Rina, who set a great tone for my visit, and Tara at the Club Lounge provided exceptional service as well. Breakfast time can get quite busy, but there’s a dedicated area for IHG member guests, which makes the experience much smoother. Melanie was wonderfully attentive there—she made sure everything ran efficiently despite the morning rush. Overall, this is a solid choice for a short stay near the airport, especially thanks to the wonderful staff who truly make the difference.

Excellent Stay with Outstanding Staff! I had a wonderful stay at the Crowne Plaza. The hotel itself is beautiful and well-maintained, but what truly made my experience exceptional were the staff members. The hotel offers spacious, spotless rooms and fantastic service throughout. Its location is perfect — right in Deira, with the metro station and Al Ghurair Mall just a short walk away, making everything easily accessible. A special mention to Rona, Cleo, and Hena from the hotel team — they always make the check-in experience warm and welcoming, adding a personal touch that makes you feel right at home. For aviation enthusiasts, some rooms even offer a great view of aircrafts taking off and landing — a real treat for plane spotters! Overall, highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers. Consistently excellent hospitality and service — I’ll definitely keep coming back!

I had the privilege of taking a swimming class at their health club. The team was very friendly, and the pool is amazing. I had never taken swimming classes before and was honestly scared to even get in the water, but my instructor, Mr. Gobinda, was incredibly patient and supportive. Thanks to his guidance, I was able to swim confidently. I highly recommend this place. Thank you, Mr. Gobinda.

The service was definitely the highlight—staff members were warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay, which made a positive difference. However, the room itself felt quite outdated. Both the TV and the fridge were not functioning, which was disappointing considering the hotel’s reputation and price point. The overall room setup could really benefit from a refresh to meet modern expectations. In summary, while the hospitality and service were commendable, the outdated room amenities held back the overall experience. With some upgrades, this hotel could easily offer a much better stay.
