I'll start by saying the food is great. A lot of options for every taste.
The resort is very large and offers a lot of options to spend the holidays.
The most annoying thing during our holidays was the silent fight for sunbeds. The hotel has a no-reservation policy, a lot of signs everywhere, but the policy is not enforced. Never. So when you have a 600+ rooms resort and a limited number of sunbeds, you must enforce the no reservation policy.
The beach is fine, but there are huge underwater rocks near the shore when you get into the sea. You have to choose your path carefully in order to avoid them.
Regarding the available drinks, they didn't even refresh the sparkling water in the room minibar. So, after paying hundreds of euros per room per night for all inclusive you have to go to the supermarket and buy sparkling water. What a disgrace!
Also, the quality of the wines included in the all inclusive program was less than average.

We enjoyed our stay very much; I would certainly recommend this resort to my friends.
Liked · Staff, was exceptional, always smiling., polite and helpful. You can see that Creta Maris is managed by a very professional and competent team. Beach was terrific. The whole place is kept very clean. You can find good snacks and drinks all day long. We used their Android app during our stay and managed restaurant reservations and all other requests by ourselves without calling or visiting the reception desk even once.
Disliked · Even though it was not allowed to reserve sunbeds, this policy was not enforced. Almost impossible to find a shade next to the pools after 8 AM. The room that we stayed in the main building was not up to the standard of the rest of the resort. It was well maintained and very clean but showed its age.

Just got back from an amazing 8 night stay here and it was fantastic.
The Hotel itself is spotless and has been beautifully decorated and maintained. Check in was smooth and easy and every member of staff we came across was friendly and helpful. We booked a garden view room and it was perfect for our needs. We did get a bungalow with a connecting door to another room so it was a bit noisy and lacked a little privacy so we asked to move rooms and the staff were extremely accommodating. By the third night of our stay we were in a new bungalow room which was perfect. We were called by the reception in the morning and in our new room by 11. Very comfy beds and a well equipped bathroom. We had a huge balcony in our new room and was perfectly situated in a quiet area but not too far from amenities. The restaurants and bars were excellent. Cocktails were professionally made and the buffet food was the best I’ve ever eaten. The a la carte restaurants were good with a nice selection of freshly cooked dishes. We particularly liked the farm to table restaurant. We weren’t lucky enough to try all the restaurants as they would tend to be fully booked if you don’t book them in the morning. The steak restaurant was good however the steak itself was quite dry. The pools and beach areas were spotless and very relaxing however the only criticism for the whole hotel is that by around 10am there were no sun loungers left on the beach but this is more of a criticism of the hotels guests. I would definitely recommend a holiday here and could easily spend longer here. Most certainly the best hotel I’ve stayed at.

We had a great holiday as a family of 3 (2 adults and a 2 year old) The food was good in all areas and restaurants but in the main restaurant enomy it was very chaotic. All drinks in bars and restaurants were good and lots of brands you’ve heard of. The staff were brilliant with our little boy and he had plenty to do throughout the holiday. The hotel is in two parts the newer hotel near the beach which is lovely and the older part across the road. The older area of the hotel is much quieter but is getting dated in places. The main and probably only annoyance we found was the inability to get a sunbed in the main part of the hotel. People were reserving sun beds from the crack of dawn despite signs asking you not to. This however was never policed by the staff at all. It’s a very large site with lots of guests so if you want a smaller hotel then maybe this isn’t for you. I will say the amount of ramps and accessibility for disabled or people less able was amazing. I’ve never seen a hotel at that standard.

The resort is huge although everything is of an easy-access. The structure is amazingly kept, constantly cleaned and the gardens are colorful and well-designed. Tailored for families with babies/kids/teens, many activities for them. Swimming pools are never crowded and same goes for the multiple restaurants offering thematic and very tasty food menus. The staff makes very much the difference, always kind, smiley, professional and willing to accommodate any request. This resort is perfect if you want to regenerate and been treated with courtesy.
