Strange experience if you ask me. Very nicely appointed hotel, nice lobby, corridors, rooms, all good. We even had view! So, why 2 stars from us for 5 star hotel? Bathroom equipment was probably in $10-15 range when new. It's been a while since, a bit corroded. I managed to get shower working, but just barely. Similar deal in indoor pool showers ( which are very nice otherwise ). First time I see indoor pool that's either not heated or barely so. Breakfast was included, tons of choices, yet everything was so so. If you like coffee, avoid machines in this hotel, not good. We were with a tour group, so dinner also included. A lot of food, all below par, IMO.

This is definitely not a 5 star hotel, but it's clean; the food is good; and the service is good. We stayed in a bungalow room which was apart from the main hotel so nice and quiet (apart from the sound of planes landing at the airport - be prepared). The room was spacious, had great views but the bathroom needs some attention. Buffet style breakfast and dinner offer a great variety for all tastes. Service is good. Pool bar is good and the food is good too. Salt water swimming pool is a good size, but as usual there aren't enough sum loungers for the number of guests. There's a funicular from the pool down to the beach, which when working saved a long walk. It was broken more than working! Overall it offers good value.

Really liked this hotel. Food was delicious, huge variety of dishes in the evening. Room was spacious and comfortable. Staff friendly, nice pool area. Close to the airport, but I like watching the planes take off and land, so that wasn't a problem. Convenient that you can charge drinks to your room on the beach and the sun loungers there are free.

Hotel is beautiful, alittle older but that adds to the charm. We had a room facing airport, I was surprised how little attention I paid to the noise of the planes taking off. The room was comfy, had aircon and u can get a key for the safe at reception. We went end of season it was quiet which I enjoyed. The location and views are amazing. There is a bus stop outside hotel where you can jump on the bus, number 2A which will take you into Corfu town. The food can be hit or miss. The drink prices are reasonable. The wait staff in the buffet are great and service perfect. I would definately come back here again.

I can truthfully say it was the worst experience we have had at an hotel in all my years of travelling. On arrival we were shown to, not a standard double room, but a bungalow located some distance away from the hotel overlooking the airport runway The Bungalow felt damp, and humid from the start, My wife suffers from asthma and we noticed it straight away. After dinner, we returned and the damp humid atmosphere in the Bungalow had got worse. My wife had to take her full dose of steroid inhalers to ease her breathing. We also had to undo the windows and patio doors to try and get some ventilation to clear the damp, but being opposite the airport the noise from the airplanes was unbearable. I checked the downstairs bathroom and it was clear there was a problem, as even though we hadn't used that bathroom at all it was full of steam, as if it were a sauna. Please see the attach photo I took that evening. I went and spoke to your receptionist but she said there was no other rooms available. She said she would ask the maintenance man at once to check - he never turned up, So my wife and were forced to sleep in sauna like conditions with patio doors wide open bombarded by jet engines from the nearby runway till around 12:30am in the morning. The noise was intolerable. The following morning I told the receptionist what had happened. She did not apologize for this, or appeared interested in my wife's asthma or the discomfort of lack of sleep. Her customer service attitude was severely underwhelming. The boiler was obviously faulty for generating all that steam. I have had subsequent email communications with the Guest Relations Manager who kept the party line saying that there was nothing wrong with the boiler and that we should have read the small print that said our rooms overlooked the Corfu Airport runway! ........Welcome to Hell?
