A very nice place to stay to. I was a bit scared reading the reviews but my stay wasn’t at all what they pictured. The staff was lovely and we ate very well they even opened the breakfast early for us because we had an early flight. It was a 10/10 experience and really worth the 5 stars, as it can easily stands the comparison with other palaces I went to I really recommend it if you need to be near the airport. The airplane noise is not at all disturbing in my opinion although you can hear it

Staff in reception was rude and unhelpful. Booked “their transfer service” which was overpriced and 15 minutes late, which we tried to book for earlier and were told no the night before. Found out later that the drivers are contracted to give the hotel kickbacks, and we were late for our boat. Rooms were spacious with a lovely private patio but only one bathroom for 5 people. Breakfast was plentiful with a lot of choices. Service at the beach was limited but convenient. Right next to the airport, so be prepared for jet engine noise early morning until late evening. Not sure how this hotel is 5* - definitely no more than 3* at best. Would’ve been an okay experience if the staff attempted to be kind, helpful, or appreciative. Corfu is beautiful and the rest of the people we encountered were very pleasant. Final result - avoid this hotel if at all possible.

Definitely not what is expected of a 5* hotel - more like a 3*. So many things to write about but I'll keep it short. Room was not ready upon arrival, which was fine, and we were advised that we'd receive a phone call when it was ready. 4 hours later we went back to the reception desk to ask where our phone call was and it was as if the receptionist had never seen us in her life - or knew what we were talking about. The pool was in need of a good scrub! The stone sides were all grimy and dirty. The sharing pool was also really green at the bottom (although we did see them cleaning this later on in the evening but the build up was certainly not just from one day). We also ordered a sandwich by the pool and we were told 10 minutes….. 30 minutes later we went to ask where it was and they had forgotten all about it. Came in a lovely cardboard pizza box though........... At dinner, we asked for a bottle of red wine from the menu – but we were advised that, from a list that was 2 pages long, only the first 2 bottles were available. I did enjoy the food, however. The worst part of our one night stay was that our hotel room door did not work (would not open). We were stuck inside the room! Called reception and they said they'd send a handyman. 20 minutes later i had to call reception again to remind them and they insulted us by telling us about the "little round knob", aka the lock, under the handle... We know how to open doors, we are capable people, but the door literally would not open. Handyman came, entered via an actual key (not the key card) and then shut the door, trapping us in again - there was nowhere to insert an actual key inside of the room! Reception just kept telling us to go to dinner and it would be sorted afterwards - they didn't grasp that we could not exit our room! 45 minutes later, we were out of the room. Someone came to fix the door but he couldn't so we had to switch rooms - to a "lake view" (it's the runway view) when we'd paid for sea view. The hotel did, in fairness, offer us late check out the next day, which we accepted, but the whole stay was just awful. We were there for one night and we hated every moment of it. Avoid.

After reading mixed online reviews about this hotel I was anxious if I had made the right choice in this hotel. But I loved it, the whole experience was better than I expected. I just want to give a special mention to the young man Samuel who works at the pool bar his customer service skills are amazing, he was so pleasant and couldn't do enough to help always with a smile on his face.

I had a lovely stay at the Corfu Holiday palace Hotel for 10 Nights with my family including Grandchildren. The Breakfast was Fresh and Plentiful, a good start to the day. Always Greeted with a lovely smile and professionalism by Sofia and Antonia. The evening meal was also good. George at the front security gates was lovely to my grandchildren made them smile and laugh as did the other security man but never caught his name. The hotel in some parts is slightly dated but I personally like the Art Deco Character. Please ignore any bad reviews (some spoilt people just love to moan). I would definitely return. You're sure to have a lovely time if you stay here.
