If you choose the Coral Strand Smart Choice half board option, the programme consists of breakfast (served in the Island Trader restaurant, buffet style) and dinner (served in a range of restaurants). Soft drinks, beer, water and wine are usually offered during dinner service.

Spent 7 days with the baby in Coral Strand and we just loved it! Right on the beach, few restaurants to choose from, nice rooms (recently renovated). This is such an amazing choice for a family stay! The hotel is very clean. We’d heard that there were renovations, but you could only hear some noise when at the pool, our room was very quiet. The breakfast was good as well. However, we found the staff to be the best! Everyone was so welcoming, nice, always there to assist (and we needed assistance with the baby, baby chair, this and that, you name it - they were on it). We loved Sakura best, she was the one to welcome us and really set the tone of our stay. We are in awe of her (especially the baby)! All in all, five star stay, highly recommend!

Me, my wife and our 6 months old daughter spent two nights in this hotel and we have to say that everything was perfect, the service is amazing and the rooms just renovated. We really enjoy the stay and we can suggest it to all of you, a special mention for Shihan and Ian that took care of us in a perfect way, congratulations to all the staff. Best regards

The location is perfect, right on a beautiful beach, and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean, prices are reasonable, and the construction didn’t bother us at all. Rooms are small but clean. The biggest downside was definitely the mattress — honestly the worst I have ever slept on anywhere in the world, even compared to cheap hostels. The air conditioning was also too noisy and dripping water even in the new room. Despite this, we enjoyed our stay thanks to the great beach, location, and wonderful staff.

As you guys can see on my review history, I am usually leaving comments only if it is 5 stars or 1 star. To be honest, this hotel really deserve 5 stars review. I don't know what kind of distorted mind people complaining about construction but during 8 days I haven't had any problem of sleeping. Below is my details. Room service : really good Room quality: really good Location: very good Food ( I took only breakfast) : really good. Especially coconut sugar is so good that i bought it to home. Hygiene : very good Air-conditioned Room, balcony to smoke. To add more, workers were really kind and nice. They took care of a lot of things a to z. I highly recommend this place for "normal people". Not for crazy Karin.

Excellent beach hotel with an incredible location. I had an outstanding welcome, and are enjoying friendly and attentive service. The room is a bit small but very clean and fully functional, with a balcony and beautiful view of the ocean. Nice variety of food (sushi, Indian, bar, local cuisine), plus a great breakfast buffet. Highly recommend 👌
