This is an excellent property that's right on the beach. Many of the rooms have been recently renovated and are practical / functional (and have health faucets, yay!). Some rooms (check when you are shown yours) have AC (drain leaks) issues and doors that can't be kept open for movement / luggage (though they have magnetic stoppers) - but they are well appointed and have excellent storage (three varieties of hangers! - if you're like me and prefer to organize your clothes that way), a full set of toiletries for guests (many hotels cut corners these days, the Coral Strand didn't), and lovely views - if you happen to get a ocean facing unit. Lindy is the life of the hotel lobby/experience; she's actually guest relations, but literally took care of everything for us. Do ask for her if you need recommendations or just a friendly face - it was always a pleasure to meet her. She is a phenomenal ambassador for the brand. The beach access is an excellent plus, and the staff at the pool / restaurants are very polite and happy to help. The attached restaurant (Mahek) that we tried out is also well staffed and has great Indian food. What I would ask the management to look at though: a) flies at the breakfast buffet. This is both unsavoury and unhygienic. b) some rooms are facing a construction area and the check-in staff didn't seem to be aware that they were using earth movers and back hoes - noisy machines at best. c) a fitness center would be a perfect addition to make this property a must-visit. d) a larger pen for the tortoises would be nice.

The staff was so welcoming and always trying to make you feel at home. Shihan and Sanjay were adorable and so helpful all the time. We could not have had a better time. Another thing we really loved was the quality of the breakfast. There was lot of choice and everything was delicious. Moreover, you can enjoy your breakfast in front of the sea !

We had a wonderful stay at Coral Strand Hotel. It just underwent major renovations in 2025/2026 and the rooms are so chic and modern! Located directly at the beach including a pool area. Very clean, great service (we especially loved Arul who served the best coffee and was always so friendly and courteous) and overall a great experience. Thank you!

Wonderful staff and service. Could not fault at all. We were looked after very well. Reception staff very helpful just to mention Sanjay and Sakura. Huge choices for breakfast where restaurant staff Sandesh and Sidd who went out of their way to help us. By the swimming pool we got excellent service from Krishna and Prabhat. I would definitely recommend this hotel for holiday in Seychelles.

We spent one wonderful week at Coral Strand Hotel in Seychelles and were extremely satisfied with our stay. The room was always perfectly clean, and the staff was exceptionally polite, kind and helpful throughout our holiday. We genuinely did not have a single thing to complain about 😊 The team also helped us organise our boat transfers to Praslin and La Digue and arranged a taxi for us on our last day, which made everything very smooth and stress-free. Our flight was only in the evening, even though checkout was at 10 a.m. Shihan from the customer desk was incredibly kind and allowed us to stay in our room until late afternoon. Just before our departure, he even surprised me with a small gift — such a thoughtful gesture that I will truly remember ❤️ A special thank you as well to Prasanta and the chef from the Indian restaurant. We ate there twice and absolutely loved both the food and the service. Thank you all for making our stay so special — we will gladly come back ☺️
