Beautiful resort you can rest and have a great holiday. The view towards the sea is lovely, stuff is nice and friendly. Hotel has his own style mix of Greek, amazing lobby in hotel, not too modern which I love it. Only rooms need to be improved a bit. I would recommend it, lovely place to stay.

Calling yourself a “5 star hotel” does not automatically make you a 5 star hotel. This place was seriously lacking. They stated that they do not run the A.C during the off season, despite the fact that it’s listed as one of the amenities, and that the daytime temperatures were getting into the high 20s/low 30s. And when we asked the front desk about it further, they said they wouldn’t be turning it on because “the temperature was fine for them”. However, this was rectified by them bringing a fan up to our room (albeit after 4 days of asking). Many more amenities that are advertised as being available are actually only reserved for the summer, such as various menu items (most notably, frozen cocktails). The water slides were also closed, and were only opening later in the season. Other amenities that you would usually find at a true 5 star resort were not present, including (but not limited to): pool side service, valet parking, towel service. There was also a very limited room service menu and extremely limited allergen accommodations. Finally, they put us in the wrong room, but tried to convince us that we had actually been upgraded. When we pointed this mistake out, they agreed to give us a refund for difference between the two room rates. However, they would only give us this refund if we signed the world’s broadest Non-Disclosure Agreement. Honestly, I’m surprised there wasn’t a line in that document about how I’m supposed to give up my first born son for a life of indentured servitude in return for the 5% refund. Overall, I would say that this place could be described as a (if I were feeling very generous) very dated 3 star hotel. But to call it a 5 star is absolutely ludicrous and, in all honesty, an affront to real 5 star resorts.

We have recently returned home from a highly enjoyable 11 nights stay in the Coral Beach Hotel . Though rated 5 star it was more 4 star as room could be updated with a shower and better wardrobes also to have drinking water made available without purchase every day would have been appreciated. Having said that we loved everything else about the hotel. We were on a H/B basis. We had an 8 th floor ‘quirky’ room with a most wonderful sea view where we enjoyed wonderful sunsets. The food was delicious and each evening had a theme menu. The chef Antonio and all the chefs met their guests to ensure all our culinary tastes were met… All the staff were very friendly, attentive and good humoured. . Each morning breakfasts were so delicious to eat while overlooking the Bay.!. Certainly worth a return visit and highly recommended..

Myself and my partner came to the Coral Beach Hotel & Resort for my birthday for a 7 day stay in the middle of march. The first thing I must do is give a huge shout out to the bar tender Aaron. We met Aaron on our second evening and we were lucky enough to have him for the remainder of our stay. Not only did this bar tender give us the best cocktails we have tasted, but provided a professional and friendly service, along with some brilliant memories. He was polite, good for laughs, gave great advise on places in Paphos to go and just generally a great guy. Even on the days when there was more pressure on the bar due to business in hotel such as the weekend of the carnival/festival in Paphos, he still lived up to his reputation of providing the best drinks and great service. Definitely deserves a promotion. I would also like to mention that the reception team were also very friendly and gave us some great advise on getting around Paphos and helpful with any questions we had. Valentina is one of the receptionists names we remember. She was always soo welcoming and smiley. We came in march so there was a mix of sunny and cloudy weather. Even of the worst day it was still nice and warm in Paphos. Our hotel bedroom was overlooking the sea, it is an upgrade I would highly recommend. Being able to hear the sea at night whilst everything else is quiet is soo beautiful, and again waking up to this sound. It's magical. It's not too much more either. Lovely size, we just wish the beds were not twin as they kept sliding apart from each other. It would be good to maybe find something that can weigh the beds together if they are not needed as twin beds to stop this happening. We did have a few nights where the WiFi kept cutting out and the TV did not work properly, maybe an influx of too many guests arriving that weekend for the festival but apart from that weekend, we were able to get wifi all the way down on the beach closest to the hotel with full signal bars. The spa facilities at the hotel were good. There is a wide range of massages and treatments they offer and with all inclusive you are able to use the sauna, steamroom, jacuzzi and indoor swimming pool for free. We did benifit from this every day of our stay. The food at this hotel was incredible every evening. If you are all inclusive, try not to miss lunch, some of the lunch options we had were more interesting than the dinner options at times, although both lunch and dinner were really nice every time. Breakfast seemed to be the same every morning. Not a bad thing but may have been nice to see some different options possibly. Dinner starting at 7pm did throw us off a bit as the sun would go in around 5pm so we had to use the spa for atleast 2 hours to fill the gap. Would have been nice for dinner to begin a little earlier. The waiters were very helpful and chefs always very nice as well. There are some lovely excursions available, I would definitely recommend visiting the blue lagoon and aphrodites bath. Some excursions take you to both, definitely worth it even in the colder season. Just jump in the blue lagoon, don't think about the cold, it goes after a moment. There is also an archaeological site at the back of the hotel , take a left on the beach, up the long steps and curve to the right. €2.50 each. It's only a little site but it is lovely when the sun is out. If you are a cat lover, there are some really friendly kitties around the hotel, all very friendly, most seem to love company of people. They seemed a lot cleaner and well kept than some of the cats we saw in town. We saw no problems, they were very well behaved and loved a little bit of the buffet cuisine. All in all, we would love to return again to this hotel and can't wait to visit again to make more memories. This was out first 5* hotel experience and there are no regrets at all. Thankyou Aaron and thankyou to all the staff who worked during our stay. Karl & Antony
