If you’re looking for a romantic and stunning escape with luxury “White Lotus” vibes, Conrad Koh Samui is the ultimate destination. Built on a cliff on the island’s west coast, the resort offers cinematic panoramic views of the ocean and the iconic Five Islands, something you can enjoy from everywhere in the resort, whether you’re floating in your private infinity pool, dining at the restaurants, or simply walking around the resort. The sunsets here are absolutely magical. Unlike most resorts in Koh Samui that face east, Conrad’s unique location on the west lets you enjoy golden hour right from your villa or the poolside, with colors melting into the sea every evening. The design throughout the resort gives off White Lotus vibes: elegant, serene, and truly immersive. Our villa was massive, with a huge infinity pool and terrace, beautifully designed, incredibly private and well maintained. Waking up to those endless views from the bed or the bathtub is an experience in itself. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of fresh and delicious options, and the service throughout our stay was genuinely warm and attentive. We also loved the unique beach walk area - lined with statues, tucked-away corners, and little romantic spots that feel like your own secret hideout. It’s not just a beach, it’s a whole experience. The only downside is that the resort is quite isolated (which is part of its charm), so you’ll likely have all your meals onsite. While the food is good, the prices for lunch and dinner were expensive (relative to Koh Samui) - even compared to other luxury resorts on the island we’ve been to like the Four Seasons and Banyan Tree. For such food price, we expected something more exceptional. Still, for those seeking tranquility, privacy, and a romantic luxury escape with breathtaking views, Conrad Koh Samui is a standout. We left feeling recharged and in awe of the natural beauty surrounding us.

Our stay at Conrad Koh Samui was nothing short of unforgettable. The moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth, smiles, and the kind of genuine hospitality that makes you feel instantly at home. The villas are absolutely stunning — spacious, beautifully designed, and each with a private infinity pool that overlooks the most breathtaking sunsets I’ve ever seen. Every detail felt intentional, from the little welcome touches to the seamless golf-cart service around the property. We loved waking up to ocean views, taking a dip in our pool before breakfast, and just soaking in the peace and quiet that this hillside retreat offers. The food was excellent (especially the Thai dishes and breakfast spread), and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The resort feels private and luxurious, yet warm and personal at the same time — a rare combination. If you’re looking for a true escape surrounded by beauty, calm, and impeccable service, this is the place. We left already planning our next visit.

The Conrad Koh Samui stands out as, quite simply, the best resort we have ever visited. It is truly impossible for mere words or pictures to fully capture the spectacular, unforgettable experience we had during our stay. From the very moment of our arrival, the experience was flawless. We were met with a remarkably warm welcoming from the staff, who provided an amazing and meticulously neat service that was consistent throughout our entire visit. The dedication and attentiveness of the team set a high benchmark for hospitality. The private villas themselves are nothing short of exceptional. They are exquisitely designed, perfectly appointed, and well-equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and luxurious stay. The real highlight, however, is the outdoor space, which features a stunning, wide private pool offering breathtaking views and the perfect place to unwind. Every aspect of the resort—from the luxurious accommodations to the world-class service—contributes to an atmosphere of pure tranquility and indulgence. The time we spent at the Conrad Koh Samui will remain a cherished memory with us forever.

My wife and I enjoyed a special and unique experience at the Conrad Koh Samui in early October to celebrate our 20th anniversary. The property is tranquil yet intimate, and the staff across so many areas clearly works to ensure a very special stay. We enjoyed interacting with Thip at reception during both arrival and departure, and our breakfast server Toey throughout our five-day visit. Management was visible and attentive throughout our stay. We enjoyed regularly interacting with the general manager, Marco, who was attentive, knowledgeable, and appropriate. Brett, the operations manager, as well as the food service leadership personnel, were also hands-on, regularly making positive contributions and impressions on guests. We had a unique and unexpected opportunity to briefly meet the owner and his family while they were visiting the property, who were all relatable, polite and kind. The What’sApp system of communication being utilized by this property works very well and we used it to meet a wide range of inquiries and requests throughout our stay. The weather was very good during our visit - we were unsure what to expect prior to our trip, but we experienced minimal rain and very temperate conditions. As I hope this review conveys, our time at the Conrad Koh Samui did not disappoint, allowing us to create special memories each day, which we will recall fondly for many years to come.

This is an incredible property - and has become an annual destination for us as each year. Despite staying at many other resorts around the world, this Conrad continues to remain my favourite. For me, a stay here is about a serene escape with incredible views, a place where privacy and connectedness merge. You have privacy in your villa, and elsewhere at the resort you have whatever type of community and connectedness with the team and other guests that you’d prefer. Your needs are always exceeded, and service is both top notch and anticipatory. This was our first trip traveling with our infant, and the resort made every aspect of this as easy as it could be. Before we even arrived, they helped arrange everything we needed in the villa and throughout the stay found ways to include someone who couldn’t even crawl yet into various activities such as the farm tour. There’s even a great baby menu at all of the restaurants. The villas have incredible views - the sunsets and views of the moon and islands are stunning. The food is also excellent and the resort offers a unique set of activities which we appreciate - spanning the farm tour to coffee/kombucha workshops at the cafe. We’d recommend participating in some of the special dining experiences, such as the Moo Kra Ta. Throughout our most recent stay, we had an excellent experience across all of the team members we interacted with. But, a special thanks goes to Toey, Nuch, and Marco. Despite being home for only a few weeks, we’re already starting to plan and think about our next visit!
