My family and I recently stayed at a hotel near Universal Studios. Despite a late check-in between 9 and 10 PM, our initial impression was quite positive: the hotel's location is excellent, the common areas were appealing, and the staff were very pleasant. Unfortunately, our satisfaction quickly faded upon entering the rooms, where we found the cleanliness to be unacceptable. In both our room and that of our daughter and her husband, there were hygiene issues, including pubic hairs in the beds and other hair in the showers. The floors felt unkempt with noticeable spots that could have easily been mopped, and lifting the toilet seat revealed residual urine. Furthermore, the sofas had numerous suspicious-looking stains, making us hesitant to sit on them. Overall, we simply could not get comfortable due to the poor condition of the accommodations. The following morning, the breakfast experience was equally disappointing. Simple items like a toaster or butter were unavailable for the bread, and the quality of other offerings, such as a meat product that may have been sausage, was highly questionable. The overall lack of basic amenities and cleanliness significantly detracted from our stay.

Good location, close to the Outlet malls, 10 mins from Orlando Studios/12 mins from Epic. The hotel is a bus stop/pick up for the parks. (Line up early, people bum rush it. Convient at times.) Do not buy out of the market inside of the hotel, its very expensive. You're better off going to a gas station/brining your own drinks (unless you want to spend a lot of money.) Positives for the market--it takes cards. The breakfast area was under construction when I was there, same breakfast every day, but the eggs were good. The coffee was...not burnt. Parking was nice, you put a piece of paper on your car so they dont tow it. Never had an issue with the parking. The rooms were good, no harsh smells or ragedy/messed furniture that I saw. Had no issues with the staff, they were friendly and helpful with any questions/concerns we had.

I don't recommend this hotel mainly because it's undergoing renovations. They've sold to Marriott group and renaming it as a City Express. The construction was very disruptive, and the Comfort Inn site only notes this at the bottom of the page in small print, so it's easy to miss. It seemed deceptive. The renovations caused many problems. The fitness room is gone because a limited breakfast is served there. Breakfast was eggs, sausage, muffins, juice, coffee, cereal, and apples. There was sliced bread, but no toaster. Are they renovating the toaster too? The construction crew crowded into this small room when I went down early. Once during the daytime, the workers set off the fire alarm, so everyone had to go downstairs to wait for an all clear. Then one afternoon, I walked into my room to see a worker on a crane outside my 4th floor window painting trim. There was no advance notice of this. The room itself was clean and modern, looking upscale for the price. The bed was uncomfortable, and there was no in-room coffee as promised on the webpage. The front desk staff was friendly. Any positives were outweighed by the construction, which made the property and my stay a disaster. Again, don't bother with this place. There are dozens of other hotels nearby.

Excellent value for money. With relatively inexpensive rooms that can accommodate up to four people, and a location close to everything (especially Universal parks and International Drive), this hotel is a great option. The staff was very attentive on both shifts (day and night). Check-in was friendly and check-out was very quick. They have a store, laundry facilities, and a basic but free breakfast. I recommend it for short trips thanks to its excellent location.

Worst place staffs are thief’s. They went into my suitcase and stole my personal items. I have sensitive skin so I have to use a special soap for my skin and face. I just came in from a 12hr shift at work ready to take my shower and I went into my suitcase to retrieve my stuff I notice that they weren’t there went to check the bathroom to see if I left them in there and I didn’t see them then when I go to the front desk to report it, he basically telling me there’s nothing he can do but fill a form out. I’m 5 hours away from my home and here traveling for work now so stuck without taking a shower and I have to cut my work trip short I’m loosing money that way and also I have to replace these items that’s are not cheap. Freaking unbelievable. Good thing I took up my gold chain up off the night stand before I left work.
