I had the most amazing time staying at the hotel. The staff was so friendly and made our stay such a fun time. The rooms were cozy and clean, and the hotel in general had a fun and welcoming feel to it. I can’t say enough good things about the bartenders and servers that we spent time with. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends!

Five Stars to Mariana❤️. I am writing again, as my review did not appear until now. We stayed at hotel from 14/3 to 19/3. We are Indians living in Denmark. We had a wonderful stay at hotel and this credit goes to Mariana, who actually made it so comfortable and worth. She helped us find the right tours and trips to be done while we were in Miami. She always greeted us with her beautiful smile and shared her experience to see places around. She is a star and while saying goodbye to hotel, I left her a note. Her colleague told me that she is educated in customer service. It could be well seen from her way of treating us and others. My words Fall short to explain how thankful we are to her. Mariana you are a gem for colony hotel and we give Colony 5 star experience because of you and your service. Thanks for making us feel so comfortable. We still remember you and recommend this hotel🥂

Colony Hotel gets 2 stars from me and not the full 5. Those 2 stars are positives and only because of the location and more importantly the people who work the front desk. These are my reasons explained (aka the pros): 1). Location was great, because we could literally grab beach towels and chairs from the front desk and walk across the street to a great stretch of beach. A lot of the restaurants, clubs, etc are on Ocean Street and a street over on Collins. 2). The people at the front desk were very helpful. There were 2 Latina ladies and a young Haitian man who answered our questions, guided us and helped us immensely whenever we had any queries. The Haitian man was EXTREMELY helpful to us after a long night of traveling and went out of his way to accommodate us. So thank you to that team. Now for the cons: 1). The bedsheets and bed were unbelievably uncomfortable and not clean. There were hairs still attached to one of the beds. We had the room serviced after day 3 and the same sheets and bedspread covers were not changed. 2). The room, bathroom and beds are really small, but when we vacation we barely spend time in the hotel. So although this should have been an afterthought, it’s annoying for tall people like us when you want to recharge comfortably. Also should mention that this could be a function of the age and style of the hotel. 3). We called ahead to management to ask about beach towels, chairs and umbrellas and were very specific. They said they could provide both on a first-come first-serve basis. All you had to do was sign them out and return them at the end of the day. However no umbrellas. The planner in us would have appreciate this ahead of time. Overall - my recommendation, as this was my third time in Miami, is that people should find a place toward the north side near Bal Harbour or Hollywood Beach and take day trips to South Beach. Parking with our rental car was cheap for the day and overnight and Lyft for trips to Little Havana were cheap. So therefore ride shares will also be cheap if going from somewhere north to South Beach for day.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The rooms were smaller than I like, reminded me a lot of hotels in New York, however they were clean, the beds were comfortable, and it served its purpose because we only needed them to sleep. The hotel staff was AMAZING. It was my birthday and they all treated me like I was the Queen of England my entire trip. The restaurant staff which is separate, Love, Love, Love. Loved the two ladies that were hostess, and bartender throughout my stay. Both went so above and beyond to make my trip special we ended up buying them a gifts on our last day. I was initially going to stay in downtown and my friend who is from Miami said you want to be on the beach and she was absolutely right. The life of Miami is on Ocean Drive. The Colony will definitely be my go to Hotel for Future Trips.

Amazing time we spent a week here & the all the front desk staff & staff for the restaurant were beyond what we expected. So incredibly nice! The food is delicious as well, the room was great too! If I could give this hotel more than 5 stars I would! We definitely will stay here again! Thank you everyone who works here for the wonderful experience & time!
