Could not have been treated to a more wonderful vacation. Everyone that we interacted with was excellent and highly skilled at their respective crafts (Marlon, Mel, Jermaine, Derrick, and Kemlin to name just a few). We were so impressed with the cleanliness, views, ambiance, food and overall experience that we have already talked about returning. The beaches were stunning and the pools were lovely. We felt it was an intimate resort experience, without the fuss of fighting over cabanas. 11/10, am missing it already

We honeymooned here and it was a relaxing experience. Very couples- friendly since it's adults only, no kids. Food and drink service was excellent, everything tasted great. One thing we didn't expect though with it being all-inclusive was the food was not in a buffet style. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were plated meals and you had to select from a pre-fixed menu. The portions were decent and still very filling for us, but don't expect to get seconds. We didn't even try but not sure how that would work if you wanted more food as we've experienced with other all inclusive buffet style resorts. They also encouraged reservations and when you check-in, they take note of your room/ bungalow name to then charge you an additional service fee. We realized after the fact that we probably didn't need to tip the servers extra. As far as entertainment, I wish there was more evening entertainment on-site. They would have some live music for an hour or so after dinner but very short-lived, almost like there was a curfew or quiet hours we didn't know about. All the extra services and things to do are also kind of expensive to book. My husband surprised me with the welcome fruit and champagne, as well as a sunset dinner reservation, which are in addition and not included in the "all-inclusive." Beyond that, we did more excursions and explored the island anyway. We rented a Suzuki Jimney to handle the roads to be able to do so. As far as the beach, there is one right behind the resort, which you can easily access. But beware, it is a public beach as well and we were warned by the local folks who sell their items there that you should not leave your stuff unattended, even if it's to run up and grab a quick drink from the bar and come back. There's beach chairs for resort guests only and the resort offers fresh pool towels that can be used for the beach as well, as many times, and as many as you need, which is nice. Overall, great experience. We stayed in the Gingerlily bungalow, which had the private pool and tub on a private porch. We didn't use the tub. In fact, it was fit for only 1 person and was a little dirty with rust and leaves. Not sure who would even use it if you have a pool and then the shower in the bathroom has double doors that you can swing open and overlook the porch while showering. Much better and very romantic! If you want a more quaint island experience, this resort would be for you. It's not modern or luxury by any means. I can't speak for the other rooms, but I got the impression that they're all styled the same. Very low-key and minimal, but in good taste. We had clean linens and towels upon our arrival and they offer fresh towels as needed. Very sanitary and all the staff were very friendly and welcoming!

This was hands down the best resort I have ever experienced. My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon and we could not have asked for a more romantic stay. The views were stunning and the sunsets were even better. There were a few things that set this place apart. The food, the staff, and the privacy. The food was absolutely amazing, fresh, and just the perfect sized portions. The staff was so genuinely kind and great people. The romantic privacy was unbelievable. We also enjoyed the nature walk where we learned about some of the native plants and medicines. If you’re going on your honeymoon please stay here you won’t regret it.

My wife and I went for our honeymoon and it was the most amazing trip! The food was great, the staff was amazing, and the island is beautiful. They have the cutest private cottages we stayed in with an amazing view, private patio, and plunge pool. Kemlin and everyone else at the resort ensured we had everything we needed

We couldn’t have asked for a better honeymoon experience than the one we had at Cocobay Resort. Everything we needed was right on the property. The resort features one main restaurant, but offers multiple other food options when the main restaurant is closed. While reservations are required for lunch and dinner at the restuarant, the staff was always incredibly accommodating. We stayed in the Deluxe Pool Cottage, which was rustic, clean, and comfortable. It offered us a sense of privacy we really appreciated. We loved listening to the ocean waves from our room. Having quick access to our own plunge pool, two resort pools, and the beach made it easy to unwind at any time during the day. A special shout-out to Yocasta and Lindel, who made the best personalized cocktails, always with a smile! The atmosphere at Cocobay was a balance between relaxation, fun, and romance. Despite the resort being at full capacity, it never felt crowded. The warm, welcoming vibe from both the staff and fellow guests made us feel right at home. We even ended up making lifelong friends and have such fond memories of the people we met. All in all, Cocobay Resort far exceeded our expectations and made our honeymoon unforgettable. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking a vibrant yet relaxing getaway with outstanding service, beautiful surroundings, and plenty of opportunities to create lasting memories.
