This enchanting family-run hotel rests on the beautiful south coast of Barbados, nestled right in the middle of Christ Church and Bridgetown. The Blades family set up Coconut Court Beach Hotel over four decades ago and it’s no wonder they chose this stunning seaside spot, where the palm trees sway and turtles play in the turquoise sea. We were scheduled to leave Barbados on the day of the US invasion of Venezuela, and needed a new place to stay until we could get a flight home. We found Coconut Court, and we were so warmly welcomed and accomodated. And very pleasantly surprised! The beach is of course quite lovely, with and artificial reef that attracts colorful fish. The service was excellent, from the wait staff and bartenders, housekeeping, and front desk staff (special shout out to Candra Rollins, the reservations manager who helped us through our situation and could not have been nicer!). The food and drinks in the restaurant was quite good, and they had a special poolside BBQ that was lovely. If I have any complaint it is that the rooms are a bit dated and small. Bud you're not there for the room, are you? It was clean, quiet and in my opinion a good value for the money. And we could tell that people keep coming back year after year, judging from the interactions between the other guests and the staff. Thanks again to everyone at Coconut Court for all of your help and hospitality!

The worst customer service I have ever experienced Miserable waiting staff, In fact I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone that works here smile once in the 12 days i was here. Feels so unwelcoming, feels almost like we as customers are a disturbance, simple things like asking for a drink at the bar looked like a mission for these staff. The breakfast absolutely awful, cheap produce, quality flavour awful. Rooms are ok, beach is nice but the rest of it would not call me to come back to this place again, Next visit to Barbados will definitely book a hotel with better customer service that makes you feel welcome!! For the price you pay and you get greeted with miserable faces is a definite no no for me.

An amazing location on the beach front but tired looking rooms and staff trying to come in your room at all times to clean or fix aircon. We had mud on the balcony 3 days from the cleanout next door. Loud music on a lot and if you dont pay for all inclusive they charge you double other places for poor quality food.

The hotel has a very nice beach, which is its major advantage, but it's pretty far from the city centre, the port or the other sights. The rooms are clean, but average, the staff is polite, but nothing justifies the very high prices they have. Their restaurant, Jake's, is very bad and the beach bars have expensive drinks and not such a vacation atmosphere.

Booked a 1 week stay at Coconut Court Beach Hotel via Virgin Atlantic Holidays. We had a garden apartment (2a). It was was functional and clean. Although Virgin didn't mention it wasn't in the main hotel grounds, but it was inland on the other side of the road with no views at all. This wasn't a problem as we only used the apartment for sleeping, but it might upset some people. All the staff were lovely, friendly and very attentive. Didn't want to go home after a weeks stay!!!
