We were looking for a cost-effective place to stay for a sudden trip and this place popped up. Great price, the room was beautiful and comfortable, and the staff was always friendly and helpful. The best part was even if we missed the morning or evening shuttle to Universal it was only a 25-minute walk. Made for a few memorable evening walks with my kiddo. And, of course, my daughter loved late(r) night swims in the (small) pool and an occasional dip in the hot tub.

The rooms are fine, though for some reason the pillows were only half size. Shower pressure was good. You'll hear everything going on outside as there's zero sound blocking.
For some reason the black out curtains don't have a track so it's not possible to close the blinds and get privacy. Only the sheer curtains close but you can completely see through them at night.
Restaurant downstairs was pretty good.

The hotel provided a satisfactory experience overall. This review aims to be candid and fair, not overly negative. The reception staff was consistently pleasant during our stay, contributing to our sense of safety and comfort. We enjoyed the pleasant pool view, and our room was conveniently located near parking. Our stay lasted three nights. However, on the day before our departure, we reported a clogged toilet and requested housekeeping, which was confirmed by the staff. Unfortunately, upon our return that night, neither issue had been addressed. Despite calling the front desk, the manager on duty offered to clean the room very late at night, which we declined. We did request that he inspect the room's condition, but he repeatedly declined. The next morning, when we spoke with the front desk manager, she was understanding and courteous, but indicated that it was up to the housekeeping manager. However, the conversation with the housekeeping manager was less pleasant, as he seemed confrontational and insisted that the room had been cleaned, ultimately ending the call with a brief apology. Despite our efforts to explain the persisting issues with dirty towels, trash, and lack of toilet paper, our concerns were dismissed. Unfortunately, this interaction significantly impacted our perception of the hotel due to the lack of satisfactory customer service from this individual. It's possible that this was an isolated incident.

Good price for the location and amenities. Free shuttle to and from Universal is a big plus. Location is in walking distance to Universal, as well. (Doable but the heat might not make it the best option) Close enough to walk to the shopping plaza across the highway. (Nice place for food and shopping) Tabla restaurant attached to the hotel and made for good evening food option for sit down or takeout. Relatively clean rooms and basic necessities made for a good stay.

This is by no means a palace. Firmly a 2-3 star motel. But the folks running it are very friendly and the amenities are just what you need for a short stay. Right across from Universal studios and also just 10 minutes from the convention center, you can't really ask for much more. The area seemed relatively safe and as a man travelling solo, it was just what I needed for the week. The rooms were quite large for just one person, but the walls are relatively thin and hearing your neighbors sometimes is a given. Beyond that, there is a fridge, several drawers and the other basic things you'd expect in a motel.
I enjoyed my stay and tip my to Youssef at the desk. Thanks again!
