My Girlfriend and I stayed at the City Green Hotel for 7 nights in October 2025 and overall I was happy. If you have a package holiday with a coach drop off you get dropped off about 3 minutes down the road, but it is easy to find and safe. Not the grandest hotel I have stayed at but, for the price, it is more than good enough. Two small/medium sized pools, with plenty of sun beds (for the size of the hotel) but pools are not heated, with how cold they are they may even put ice in them! The rooms are ok, more than good enough for me but some may say they could be a tad cleaner. Only one elevator, with the restaurant on the 4th floor, which again was not a problem for myself and my girlfriend but for less able people, could be an issue. The food was okay, would have liked a bigger selection of fruit and possibly more variety, but everything I did have tasted nice. Good selection of cocktails at the bar, along with spirits too. We recommend the City High cocktail. Two nights of entertainment I believe, we saw the Greek dancing and it looked fun. Fantastic location, nice and close to the beach and the main strip with all the bars and restaurants, also very close to the hills which are great for a nice hike! Loads of cats in and around the hotel, we loved it but some may not like that!

Rooms 🏢 Spacious, clean, no complaints regarding the standard. Medium-sized bathroom – for bigger people it may be hard to manoeuvre, e.g. while changing clothes. On the good side – large sink; on the bad – the shower cabin floor edge is so low you have to be careful about the water flow. Other benefits: an air conditioner, a balcony with chairs and table, 2 large mirrors, a tea set with electric kettle (but why is it connected in the closet?), and a fridge that unfortunately gathers a bit of water inside. Area 🏖 The hotel is not too far from the beach and bus stops. Staff and service 💁‍♀️ The biggest benefit. Very helpful, quick with formalities. A few members speak Polish, including Mrs. Bogusia who provides advice on where to go, what to visit, how bus transport works, and much more. Big kudos for that. There is also one person at the reception and one at the bar who also speak Polish. Food 🍽 It is ok. When it comes to taste, everything is quite good or often even delicious. The thing is.. the choice. The most humble is breakfast. There is of course everything you need for a sandwich, cereals, dried fruits, pancakes, beans and bacon (quite English breakfast elements), but for vegans/lactose-free guests it may be a little monotonous, with the selection limited to fruits, bread, and raw vegetables. Lunch and dinner are more satisfying, with options changing more often. There is a lot of meat but also vegetable-based dishes, although sometimes the balance is not even and one predominates over the other. A big plus for Greek night every Friday with a delicious feast. Other 🎶 Plus for events like saxophone play at the bar. Overall It is definitely a recommendation for Poles who are not so fluent in English nor have much experience with holidays abroad.

We have had a fantastic holiday in Crete, The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but very well maintained and very clean. Room service comes everyday and a good supply of fresh towels are never a problem. There has never been a race to the sun beds. 2 pools have enough for most sun bathers. Although the pool around the back is cold compared to the main pool. The bar staff are fantastic, well done to George, Paulina and Manos for having a smile and a joke with us. You helped make the holiday enjoyanle. No one can complain about the food, the selection was good and it changed every lunchtime and evening. The deserts are fantastic 😍. Again the staff in the restaurant was helpful and polite. And even at busy times there was enough tables. The all Inclusive drinks are standard fayre, drinkable without being fantastic. You can upgrade to named drinks but it didn't look value for money. The hotel is well presented , clean and tidy with air con in the rooms and reception area. It's us located a few minutes walk from a multitude of shops, cafes , restaurants and bars. With the beach oy a fewinutes more away. The bar which is by the main pool has snacks during the day including ice-cream. It stays open quite late but all inclusive stops at 1pm. It could do with some of the sun beds being moved and a few more table and chairs being put out in the evening though. Friday night is BBQ night by the pool with traditional cretian dancing which we enjoyed. Definitely had value for money here and would highly recommend to anyone thinking of this hotel, definitely book. Very happy with our experience at City Green . Thank you very much.

We recently booked a stay at this hotel VIA LoveHolidays, when we arrived we were informed they received our booking too late and they were sending us too another hotel, we were moved to a 3 star hotel which quite frankly was extremely disappointing leaving us quite annoyed we'd contacted the booking agents and weren't receiving any help so returned to City green for some advice, City green kindly allowed us to use the facilities including their all inclusive restaurant and pool/bar which we very much appreciated due to the fact the substitute hotel was awful, Still unsure on whose at fault for the booking being wrong but either way the staff were extremely helpful and polite the facilities Such as their pool and food was exceptional and very disappointing we didn't get to stay at the hotel.

Friendly staff. Room not 100% clean. Bathroom not up to scratch. Food ok so far. Receptionist super friendly but raised an issue with her many hours ago and not yet resolved. Cleaner made bed but failed to go on balcony and empty ashtray and left dirty plate. On average superb location and very friendly
