We’ve just returned from the most incredible week in the Maldives, and honestly, this hotel exceeded every expectation we had. From the moment we arrived, the warmth, professionalism, and genuine kindness from every member of staff made us feel completely at home in absolute luxury. The food and drinks were exceptional throughout our stay — beautifully prepared, full of flavour, and consistently five-star quality. Whether it was relaxed lunches overlooking the ocean, sunset cocktails, or romantic evening meals, everything felt effortless and perfectly executed. The attention to detail across the entire resort is something you truly have to experience to appreciate. What made this trip unforgettable, though, was the way the team secretly helped me plan and set up my beach proposal for my girlfriend. They worked quietly behind the scenes to create the most perfect, private setting on the sand — discreet, thoughtful, and absolutely magical. It was beyond anything I could have imagined, and thanks to them, it became one of the most special moments of our lives. The villas, the scenery, the atmosphere — everything was immaculate, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. You can tell the staff genuinely care about creating lifelong memories for their guests, and that level of passion shines through in everything they do. If you’re looking for a place that delivers luxury, incredible service, amazing food, and once-in-a-lifetime moments, this is it. Fantastic experience. We stayed for 11 nights over Christmas with our 5-year-old daughters. The island is very beautiful and extremely well organized. The lagoon with the beach is perfect for relaxing and for snorkeling with children, as it is always very calm and offers a great variety of fish. Every morning at 10:00 a.m., the Diving Center organizes a free guided snorkeling trip on the other side of the beach, along the drop-off, with a guide accompanying you. Both the hotel staff and the Diving Center team—whom we especially bonded with—are all incredibly kind and always helpful. We also spent Christmas there, and they thoughtfully gave a gift to every child at the resort, delivered by a cheerful Maldivian Santa Claus. The buffet is good and varied, with international cuisine and a wide selection of Indian dishes, which we really appreciated. Alternatively, the chefs are always happy to prepare different meals and are particularly accommodating to children’s requests. We were lucky to have a table in front of the playground, which was very convenient with two young girls. We stayed in a beach bungalow, which was wonderful with a view over the bay, and the cleanliness was impeccable. We had an unforgettable vacation and highly recommend this resort.

The water bungalow at Cinnamon Dhonveli Maldives was absolutely wonderful. It was beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable, with breathtaking ocean views and direct access to the clear turquoise lagoon. The peaceful setting and thoughtful details made the experience truly relaxing and unforgettable. Overall, the stay at Cinnamon Dhonveli Maldives was excellent. The resort offered a great balance of comfort, natural beauty, and warm hospitality. Everything from the atmosphere to the service contributed to a memorable and enjoyable getaway. A special mention goes to Jaleel, who truly stood out with his professionalism, kindness, and dedication. He was always helpful, attentive, and made sure everything was taken care of with a genuine smile. His positive attitude and commitment to excellent service made a big difference and added a personal touch to the entire experience.

Wow what a holiday. From the beautiful location, the cleanliness of everything to the amazing team here. Khair would greet us every morning with a wonderful smile, nothing was to much for him, an amazing gentleman who did wonderful food. Leem would have our drinks ready with a cheeky smile every meal time. Saha would be trying to temp you with amazing noodles with his big smile. The views and sea life are beyond words. A bit of everything here. 1st time to the Maldives you won't be disappointed coming here.

I have visited Cinnamon Dhonveli Maldives three times, and it has always been a very relaxing and peaceful place to stay. The island is quite big with beautiful surroundings, perfect for walking around and enjoying nature. The beach bar is definitely my favorite spot the drinks are very good and the atmosphere is amazing. The lagoon is also great for swimming. The staff are friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. The food was okay for me personally, but my friend loved it, so it really depends on personal taste. The morning snack was fine, but I didn’t really enjoy the beverages at the snack bar as much as the ones at the beach bar. Overall, it’s a lovely resort with great facilities like tennis, basketball, and a nice pool. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a calm and enjoyable Maldives getaway.
