An amazing and calm resort on a small island about 40 mins by boat from Male. Excellent facilities and service, beautiful sea, great cuisine - all you need for a nice holiday. What made this place exceptional was the staff at all levels: all the teams starting with an excellent chef, great cooks, all waiters and restaurant staff, bar attendants, last but not least the facility cleaning staff, all were always very nice, always helpful, smiling and very polite. Even if any workers only passed by, they always said HI and were corteous. All staff worked very hard, were always there for us and taking care of us on holidays regardless of day time, temperature, their human troubles and tried to do all possible to satisfy our needs and wishes. On the other hand their care was very respectful and not intrusive, over-exegerated and annoying as it sometimes happens. I wish this THANK YOU for employees’ nice and positive attitudes regardless of their role and position, got to every staff member - they are doing GREAT work and made our holiday in Cinnamon Dhonvelli in the Maldives even nicer! We always enjoyed talking to them! Unfortunately we do not remember all the names of all staff we met, but would name at least a few of them who made our days in the resort nicer and even more comfortable: talented and very inspiring Indian yoga teacher Shreya, who always guided us through great yoga sessions, never forgot to combine asanas with pranajama and other limbs of true yoga; always smiling and positive Imanya at the salad bar, excellent and “magic wok guy”Tharindu, great “pasta guy” Ruwan, always caring Baghya, Nyiaz and many others in the restaurant, Rafi and Suraj at the beachbar, nice and always helpful front officers and diligent cleaning staff. Special thanks goes also to the Maldivian crew of the dive center! Thank you so much, hats off! Wish you all the best!

We have had a fabulous time here. The island has something for everyone.. gorgeous lagoon for swimming snorkeling kayaking or just watching the fish in the clear waters..even the reef sharks ... a serene swimming pool ...the Raalhu Bar to watch the expert surfers at Pasta Point .. The Raiyvilla Sunset Bar where Malinda and Ester make fantastic cocktails. (such lovely people who enjoyed good banter..thankyou). The wonderful ladies at the Spa..would definitely recommend the Traditional Balinese massage for two.. bliss. Our well appointed beach bungalow overlooked the lagoon so we always had a view and were only 10 steps from the waters edge. Thankyou to Abul for the daily bungalow service and for the chocolates delivered with a smile. We dined at the Koimala which did not feel like a typical all inclusive restaurant..it never felt crowded.. food was delicious ..plentiful and varied and Executive Chef A.S. Jayasinghe even gave us his recipe for an excellent Chicken Dopiaza. Koimala has very good decor with linen napkins, lovely wooden paddle fans to circulate fresh air and views of the lagoon. All staff were great..but a big thankyou to Afnan for looking after us so well. Finally huge respect for the General Manager Mr Robert Marlon who has been instrumental in initiating sustainability projects, such as the resort's organic farm, aims to cultivate a more sustainable future for the resort through eco-friendly practices and for the behind the scenes tour to show us what goes on to make this resort run as smoothly as it does. We would love to return, this has been such a wonderfully relaxing holiday..just what we needed. Thankyou.

It was a heavenly holiday for my wife and me. Everything was wonderful. Upon landing at the airport, the hotel staff immediately assisted us with the transfer. After waiting for an hour, we travelled to the hotel by boat within 30 minutes. The food was delicious and varied to suit everyone's taste. The room and surroundings were clean. A true paradise vacation! Maldives are so beautiful! And this resort is amazing. The staff so friendly and helpful that we felt so welcome and at home. Having visited other islands in the Maldives this now up there in our top 2. The island is so clean and looked after daily by the staff. The oversea apartment we had 703 was excellent with ample room nicely designed into 3 sections with a lovely sunrise balcony. The sealife was good with some coral banks off the main beach area. The restaraunt had a excellent choice of food and would recommend having the beach meal, 5 courses served in a beautiful private canopy area for our anniversary. Every visit to the restaurant we were made so welcome by Srimanti and the staff. We will def be visiting again!!
