We had a wonderful stay at Cinnamon Dhonveli, a truly beautiful and luxurious resort. The property is stunning, extremely clean, and very well-maintained. The scenic views around the island—especially the crystal-blue lagoon and lush greenery—make the entire experience feel magical. The food was outstanding. Chef Kartik went above and beyond in helping us with baby food and was always there whenever we needed him. His professionalism, kindness, and attentiveness made our stay even more comfortable. Ruth from the Koimala restaurant was also extremely kind, friendly, and helpful throughout our visit. The resort offers plenty of activities that are well-planned and always on time. The staff across the property maintain a highly professional attitude, and their warm hospitality truly stands out. There are great food options, with something for everyone, and the service quality is consistently impressive. Overall, it was a very good experience for us, and I highly recommend Cinnamon Dhonveli Maldives if you’re planning a luxury holiday in the Maldives. A must-visit resort!

We have just returned from 2 fantastic weeks at Cinnamon Dhonveli, our first time in the Maldives. We stayed in an over water suite with sunset views and it was perfect. The OWS were very spacious, had great AC and fans, fantastic amenities and were of the very highest standard. They are very private and definitely have that exclusive and luxury feel. However, the biggest asset this resort has is the amazing staff. Some shout outs to Akila and Suraj at the Rehendi Bar - Suraj also does the fire show at the beach party - not to be missed! Dilshan at the Sunset bar and the team at Rahuul Surf bar were also brilliant! Our waiters Leem, Ahmed and Latheel at Rehendi restaurant were excellent and the manager, Srimanti was always friendly and made sure everything was ok. The chefs Saha and Khair are definitely worth visiting at their stations. And of course Sattar at the pool was always great fun. Would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking to holiday in the Maldives, we will certainly be returning!

A very pleasant experience from the food to the accommodation. The room was very beautiful, right on the beach, with impeccable daily cleanliness and very friendly staff. The meals were buffet-style, and as soon as we entered the restaurant, Bhagya greeted us with a smile on her face — a very lovely lady who made you feel “at home.” Shreef, on the other hand, was the gentleman who served us at the table, and we can say we became friends. He joked with us, brought us drinks as soon as he saw us enter the restaurant, and had a warm attitude. The chefs also came to ask if everything was okay, if we liked the food — very attentive with everyone. The beach and the water were dreamy, everything clean and well maintained.

We are a family of three from Poland (husband, wife and our 9-year-old daughter), and we spent a wonderful holiday at the resort in November 2025. We would like to express our sincere thanks for the incredibly comfortable stay. Our Junior Beach Suite was spacious, fresh, and very comfortable. The room was always spotless, and the daily cleaning was excellent. The staff throughout the resort were kind, warm, and always ready to help, which made our time here even more enjoyable. We truly appreciated the variety and quality of the food in our restaurant, the fun excursions, and the amazing massages at the spa. The transfer between the resort and the airport was also very smooth and quick—only about 20 minutes. A very special thank-you goes to Mira, the wonderful Island Host at the reception. Without her, our stay would not have been as perfect as it was. Her experience, attention to detail, and deep understanding of everything related to the resort helped us so much and protected us from any unnecessary issues. From the moment I stepped foot on the island, I felt genuinely welcomed. Even before my arrival, I sent through my flight itinerary, and the team was incredible—prompt, attentive, and reassuring. They organised everything seamlessly from the airport to the resort, taking a huge weight off my mind and allowing me to focus entirely on the excitement of the journey ahead. The reception staff greeted me with such warmth, and that same kindness echoed throughout the entire resort. The restaurant team—from the waiters who delivered exceptional service to the chefs who crafted delicious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner—made every moment feel special. Thank you for the care you put into each dish and each interaction. My overwater suite was nothing short of breathtaking. Waking up to those serene ocean views and winding down with the soft glow of the evenings felt absolutely priceless. Being able to dip straight into the crystal-clear waters from my deck was an experience I’ll never forget. Also a big shout out to the ladies at the spa, the massage rejuvenated my body and I had the best sleep. A heartfelt thank you to Hassan for keeping my room immaculate and always checking in to see if I needed anything. You were a true gentleman and a wonderful housekeeper—your kindness did not go unnoticed. This resort is an unforgettable destination—whether you're visiting for the first time with your partner, celebrating a wedding, or travelling solo like I did to unwind and write. Every staff member played a part in creating a stay that I will cherish for years to come. Thank you again to the entire team for making my time here truly memorable.
