We had a very positive experience during our recent two-day stay at Cinnamon Bey Beruwala. ​The service was truly the highlight, earning five stars across the board. The staff were attentive, helpful, and exceptionally friendly from the moment we arrived. A special shout-out to Nilesh, who handled our check-in and was genuinely there to see us off, making the entire process feel personal and seamless. ​One of the unique features is the safe sea-bathing area. Due to a natural reef located about 50 meters from the shore, the strong ocean currents are kept at bay, making it a very safe and comfortable place to swim in the sea—a huge plus for beach lovers! The resort also offers a spacious main pool and two separate pools, including a children's pool. ​Dining is a strength here, with a great open buffet available for all three meals, supplemented by the two specialty restaurants, Fire and Noodles, offering plenty of variety. ​In terms of facilities, the hotel is well-maintained, but we did feel the rooms are showing their age and could use an uplift. Similarly, the gym is also on the smaller side and would benefit from an update. We noticed the spa pricing was reasonable, though we didn't use the services. These small areas for improvement did not detract significantly from an otherwise excellent stay.

My family and I had the best experience during our 2 day stay at Cinnamon Bey Beruwala. From the moment we checked in, Nilesh gave us such a warm welcome and even offered a late checkout, which really helped since we were traveling with our 1.5 year-old. The room was clean and comfy, and even though we booked a garden terrace view, we still had a lovely view thanks to how beautiful the hotel is. Our room was also super close to the kids’ play area and pool, which made our daughter’s stay even more fun. The food was great and the restaurant staff at the bufë were amazing. Even though it was quite crowded, they were really attentive and friendly. They even came by to say hi to our baby and picked up her toys when they fell such small things, but they made a big difference. A special thanks to Mekala who served us and made our daughter’s dinner time so much more enjoyable. Everything was honestly great, except for a couple of things. The kids’ pool was a total mess with insects and bugs, and it felt pretty gross getting in, especially with a baby. And since I’ve tried desserts at other Cinnamon hotels before, I know they’re usually amazing, but here they were just bland and didn’t have much taste. Other than those two things, everything else was absolutely wonderful!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ From the moment we entered Cinnamon Bey Beruwala until the time we checked out, everything was simply wonderful. My husband and I took our parents here as a surprise getaway, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place. They truly had an amazing and relaxing time. We stayed in a sea view room, and it was absolutely lovely — very clean, calm, and comfortable. The view of the ocean was breathtaking, and it made our stay even more peaceful and memorable. The location was perfect, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Every request we made was handled with prompt and professional service. The highlight of our stay was definitely the food — absolutely exceptional! Having previously stayed at Cinnamon Life Colombo, we already knew how delicious the food at Cinnamon hotels can be, so we chose Cinnamon Bey without a second thought — and it exceeded our expectations. A special thank you to Nilesh at the reception for his warm welcome and patience in explaining everything so clearly at check-in. Also, Sarindu, who assisted us during check-out, was equally kind and efficient, helping us arrange our vehicle quickly. We’d also like to appreciate the lovely lady who escorted us to our room and took the time to show us around and explain everything in detail. Overall, we had an amazing experience once again at a Cinnamon hotel — and we’re already looking forward to visiting more Cinnamon properties across Sri Lanka in the future!

We had a great time at Cinnamon Bey Beruwala. The hotel is one of the Cinnamon chain hotels and it's our 3rd Cinnamon hotel this year! Having situated along the beach itself, access to it is easy and safe. Rooms are spacious and nicely appointed. In-room washroom was in two parts with the possibility of shower and toilet being separated. Open restaurant was right next to the pool, and food was good. Saturday dinner had a great variety of food, especially seafood. Staff is very helpful and welcoming. The restaurant gets quite hectic therefore we had to specifically ask someone to point is to an available table. Other than that it was a positive experience. Kids' pool is on the other side of the restaurant and situated with the kids' play area, which is a big hit with the kids! Jungle Gym and playrooms are open until 7 pm. Vast green areas to run around and play, local talents showcasing on Saturday nights and alcohol offers were available.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very well trained. The food was nice and we had a wide variety of different cuisine. Very delicious food. The rooms however were not as appealing, the cleanliness was not up to standard and some of the paint were peeling on to our hands. Some forengiers had spat red beetle leaves (it is not the Sri Lankan beetle leaves) around the toilets and that stank, literally and figuratively. Must charge these people who ruin the hotel. The pool was large and nice, but it lacked in the safety; the pool is only 4.5 meters, but I think lifeguards are still needed. At the beach in front of the hotel also has no lifeguards. This for the Cinnamon owned section of the beach. The waves were really rough and locals helped us but the hotel should look into it. We had a good stay and these are just feedback for improvement.
