I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Cinnamon Bey Beruwala. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and attentive. Their hospitality truly made our experience special — they were always ready to help with a smile. The food was excellent, with a great variety and delicious flavors every day. Every meal felt fresh and well-prepared, and there was something for everyone to enjoy. One of the best parts of this hotel is its easy access to the beach. Being able to walk straight onto the sand was such a luxury. The sunsets were absolutely breathtaking — watching the sky change colors over the ocean each evening was unforgettable. We also loved the traditional cultural shows. They were vibrant, entertaining, and gave us a beautiful glimpse into Sri Lankan culture. It added a unique and memorable touch to our stay. Overall, everything about this hotel was amazing — the food, the staff, the beach, the views, and the cultural experiences. I would highly recommend it and can’t wait to visit again!

I had a truly wonderful experience during my stay. The service was absolutely first class from start to finish. Every staff member was professional, friendly, and attentive to every detail. I recently stayed at Cinnamon Bey Beruwala, and overall the experience was okay but not what I expected from a 5‑star hotel. Parking & First Impression: The stay began with a frustrating parking experience. We were directed to park in a faraway, empty field with overgrown grass and no proper cover, even though we later saw that there was proper, convenient parking closer to the hotel. I take great care of my car, so leaving it exposed like that was really upsetting—if it had rained, the car would have been ruined. After parking, we had to walk all the way back to the hotel to check in, which significantly affected our first impression. The same long walk had to be repeated again during checkout. Staff & Service: The staff were friendly and polite, but they were clearly dealing with a large number of guests, so service felt stretched. They tried their best, but the overall attentiveness was not what you would expect from a high-end property. Rooms & Amenities: The room and amenities were acceptable, but not exceptional. For the price and the 5‑star rating, we expected a more premium experience. The quality felt closer to what you would typically get from a 3–4 star hotel elsewhere. Overall: While the stay wasn’t terrible, it definitely didn’t feel like a true 5‑star experience. The parking inconvenience and lack of proper guidance really brought down the value of the stay. With improvements to guest convenience and clearer service processes, the experience could be significantly better.
