We received a wonderful welcome from Sansala and her colleagues. Denhami gave us a guided tour of the historic hotel and she helped Hasith and the Guest Relations Team take care of us throughout our eleven nights at the hotel. They arranged a trip to Galle for us and made our Golden Wedding Celebration very special with a table arranged with flowers and a chocolate cake . We booked half board . The buffet had a vast choice of tasty dishes. Nothing was too much trouble for the all staff who made our visit so enjoyable. The beach was smooth sand and very clean. Pool attendants were very helpful and the pool at staff were friendly. We had a wonderful holiday and the staff worked as a team throughout the hotel

I spent three wonderful nights in this amazing hotel, amid the stunning Bawa architecture. Everything is a delight, not least the gorgeous, comfortable rooms and incredible pool area. All staff were helpful and professional, from check in onwards. I especially want to name Gimhani in the spa, from whom I received two fantastic massages. She’s a highly experienced therapist, and just so warm, kind and a beautiful soul. The spa is well worth a visit!

A lovely hotel - where the staff are extremely nice. It is a big hotel but didn’t feel too busy. The beach is lovely not as many beach bars and stuff going on as other places on south coast, but nice for some peaceful relaxing time. The reception is beautiful. The breakfast is an enormous buffet and so is dinner there is also one Al a carte fish restaurant that was nice and relaxed. The kids loved the drop in kids club.

Thank you so much to Mina, who greeted my mum and me at reception and made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. She took the time to talk with us and explain everything so kindly, and it really meant a lot, even came with us t see our room:) She even made a point of finding out what time we were leaving, gave us a hug, and said goodbye — such a lovely personal touch. The buffet food was honestly some of the best I’ve ever had, with so much choice. All of the hotel staff were friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. The beach, just a few steps away, is where we spent most of our time. It was so relaxing and never crowded — perfect for unwinding. There’s a real sense of calm throughout the hotel, and I will 100% be back next year. I really hope Mina is still working there then 🙂
