Beautiful resort from reception to the rooms. The architecture is absolutely amazing — thoughtfully designed, elegant, and truly impressive. The location is perfect, with an easy walk to both the beach and the town. The pool area and spa are wonderfully relaxing, and the poolside staff are attentive to your every need, preparing comfortable loungers with fresh towels. Every member of staff we met was very friendly, professional and welcoming, which made our stay even more special. The resort is perfect for both families and couples, with everyone’s needs thoughtfully catered for. We are very likely to return because of the exceptional service, relaxing atmosphere, and the overall luxurious experience that made our visit so memorable. We couldn’t have asked for any more — we loved our stay and would highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay at Cinnamon Bentota Beach. The hotel has a perfect mix of elegant design and tropical charm, with a spacious, beautifully decorated room that had a sea view and a private balcony. The beach is right in front of the hotel – wide, clean, and almost empty, which made it feel like our own private paradise. The pool area was one of our favourite spots, with quiet corners to relax and a great pool bar with refreshing drinks. We chose the full board package and were really impressed with the variety and quality of the food – breakfast buffets were rich and well presented, and the à la carte lunches were always tasty and beautifully served. All the staff we interacted with were kind and genuinely helpful. The atmosphere is calm and sophisticated, perfect for recharging. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sri Lanka and looking for a peaceful, high-end beach experience.

Large busy hotel but generally very good standards. The staff are very friendly and well trained. We dealt specifically with one of the Managers called Mina who was absolutely brilliant and who personally sorted out anything we needed. She was a star - particularly as we were obviously facing air transportation difficulties with the issues in Iran. The facilities at this hotel are very good. The gym is modern and has plenty of weights aerobic machines. The Spa was particularly good with professional, friendly and welcoming staff. Anjani was particularly good and Myself and my Wife really enjoyed a relaxing time there.

We had an amazing buffet lunch at Cinnamon Bentota with the most incredible spread. Came back a week later and ordered one al a carte lamb biriyani and one cuttlefish with fried rice which was enough for 5 people- my daughter was able to access the buffet for free! Wonderful service especially from the lovely hostess, Chandima. Thank you for the exceptional food and service. We will be back.
