Had a wonderful experience at the spa—peaceful, clean, and the perfect escape from a busy week. A big thank you to Laashini, whose massage was incredibly relaxing and just what I needed. She has such a calm energy and a great sense of pressure and flow. Also, a special mention for Prakash, the spa manager, who was extremely helpful. He helped us arrange our appointments smoothly and took the time to recommend a few aftercare products that have genuinely made a difference. Really appreciated the personal attention and thoughtful service. Can’t wait to be back!

The buffet-style breakfast and dinner are outstanding—high-quality food with a wide variety of options to suit every taste. Live cooking stations and evening entertainment add a vibrant, personal touch to the dining experience. The staff here are incredibly friendly and attentive, always going out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. There’s a wide range of activities on offer, from water sports to day excursions and even casual games like badminton. Whether you’re seeking adventure or relaxation, there’s something for everyone. I stayed here with my family and we had an amazing time. Cinnamon Bentota Beach is a shining example of the excellence that defines the Cinnamon Hotels brand across Sri Lanka. This is an exceptional hotel in every way. Firstly the architecture and surroundings are WOW. In the main lobby the sunken bar is very cool with the painted ceiling incredible. Hotel is vast and is situated between river and beach, making it quite a remarkable place to stay. Pools are incredible, great temperature and huge - there are two pools equally good. The buffet restaurant has so much choice at dinner and breakfast, and the quality was excellent, top class. Indian food particularly on point, I must have had 3 bowls of Keralan prawn curry! The rooms are very spacious, and well appointed. Managed to watch premier league footy from the bath which was a highlight. Everything worked very well. Special mention to Danuska for helping me resolve an issue , he was extremely helpful and always on hand to help. I would return to this hotel in an instant.

Amazing stay as always. Have come here as a family over 50 years. Staff are always so welcoming. Priyantha the food and beverage manager was amazing and so attentive to us. The head chef made special gluten free foods for us daily and boxes of sweets when we left. All the staff around the hotel were lovely. Always the best stay here. Can’t wait to come back again.

Location - Perfect for Family Holiday. River at one side, sea on the other. Lish green resort with amazing beach side weather. Resort is designed to give you a feel of Nature with cultural feel of Sri Lanka and most modern designed rooms. Our room had pool / beach access. Room was big enough with partial open bathroom. Service and Resort team were amazing hosts. Everyone from top to training level met with warmth and cheerful. Our first interaction with Mr Chalena at reception to discussion with Sous chef Mr Mark and Manager (f&b) Mr Dharaka Fernando we met many staff and really enjoyed the stay. Food - Their buffet is amazing with lots of option with balance in Veg, Egg, non-veg and sea food diets As we were vegitarian and egg lovers, we ordered some customised food and they served us. Maintenance of the resort is top notch. Their water activities may look a bit expensive compared to other nearby competitors, but it is advisable to use their service only because there were many fraud kind of people outside. Cut short, this resort is Maldives feel with typical sri-lankan touch If you are planning to go to this resort, must try cocktails, Biryani, curries and local milk tea (yari tea).
