It was our second time at the Cinnamon Bentota Beach, we returned in September 2025 after a wonderful first stay there (in March 2024) and we are so happy we did. This time, we visited for our honeymoon, and it was the perfect romantic getaway. We enjoyed the beautiful pool, the beach and the views. The food was spectacular, we enjoyed the wide variety of choice for breakfast and dinner. The staff at the hotel took great and thoughtful care of us throughout our stay. We will definitely be back. Sameer Lakshah, from the Housekeeping team, left us an amazing goodbye present on the day of our departure (see third photo)!

It is a great hotel with some of the best architecture and great facilities. Great pools, great access to the beach, good kids area, decent breakfast menu. The housekeeping staff requires training, and service levels need to be improved. I had to call three times to get blankets and wait for 20 minutes, which was very bad. Also, they clean up rooms, but do not replenish things in the room, and we must call for stuff. The setup in the hotel room is not the best, missing a reading table, no proper plug points ( just one next to the bed), the hair dryer is locked up, and the lights setup is not great. Definitely, there is a lot of room for setup improvement that is needed. I wish the staff were much more trained to be warm and smile. The checkout experience, I wish they had asked how our stay was and had taken this feedback, just bill and get out. Must be trained better. Definitely, the hotel deserves a five-star rating, but it was ruined by poor housekeeping and poor hotel room setup.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Cinnamon. The service was top-notch, and the staff consistently went out of their way to help us on multiple occasions. Traveling with our little one, we felt very safe, comfortable, and well looked after throughout our stay. The food was outstanding, especially the authentic Sri Lankan cuisine, which was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. Everything about our experience felt thoughtful and of the highest quality. Highly recommend Cinnamon for anyone looking for exceptional hospitality, great food, and a truly memorable experience.

My stay at this hotel was absolutely perfect. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, the rooms modern, spotless, and very comfortable. I was especially impressed by the delicious breakfast buffet and the central yet quiet location. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcome – I’ll definitely be coming back!
