We were greeted with refreshments, staff were friendly and welcoming. Took our bags to the room whilst we checked in. The breakfast had a great selection and overall the food menu catered for most. Great location to have sea views whilst eating breakfast. There is Parking across the road which was ideal for us accessed via a card. Had a seperate card for towels which was useful although if card got lost we had to pay additional fee (expected). There was never a problem getting Sunbeds as were all around the poolside. Overall hotel was convenient. Would come again.

We had a wonderful stay at Chaweng Beach Resort. The hospitality was warm and welcoming from the start. We booked a Premier Room with a pool view, which was spacious and comfortable. The property has two beautiful pools, and both were absolutely fantastic to relax in. Breakfast was great as well, with plenty of options to choose from each morning. The only downside was the beach most of the time the tide was high, so we couldn’t really enjoy it. However, the street nearby makes up for it with lots of restaurants, pubs, and places to hang out. Overall, we really enjoyed our 3-night stay and would definitely recommend it for a relaxing and convenient getaway.

We have returned to this hotel after we were here in 2023 and what a disappointment! They cannot be rated a 5star. The umbrellas by the pool are torn, the pool loungers are half broken, the service around the pool area is either non existent or terribly slow, the staff at breakfast is so rude, they definitely don’t belong in the hospitality industry. Curtains in the rooms are off their hooks and semi broken, plugs don’t work - impossible to charge your phone unless you build a tower of things in order to secure the plug in a way that the charging cable doesn’t dare move a millimeter. Towels are old and hard. TV reception is poor and almost non existent. Staff at reception was definitely trained to use the word NO for every request the guests have! Big signs everywhere stating “no food or drinks from outside” - yet everyone is bringing in massive plastic bags with 7/11 food , eating and drinking, throwing their tins and papers on the floor. Young patrons bringing in their speakers and playing loud music at the pool whilst others are trying to relax or read a book. I can honestly say that there’s a massive lack of management. Definitely not a 5star hotel!

Back in July '25 we stayed at Chaweng for a few nights and had our wedding here! We had an unbelievable experience, all staff were super kind and helpful. Every day we were greeted with warm smiles and were chatting with everyone. The wedding planner, Air, was 10/10 - she was meticulous with every detail and was very clear with the information and plan for the day. Our guests had a brilliant time too and some are even visiting again next year! We're excited to come back ourselves, and we certainly will! Thank you Chaweng!

The hotel itself is bit tired and needs renovation - especially the wooden path is rotting away and dangerous. Also in the rooms - leaking shower and mouldy walls… The biggest disappointment however, was the service. Room service at strange hours, one day 10 am the next 5 pm. I needed to ask for bedsheets to be changed and floor cleaned after over a week stay. The spa bath wasn’t touched and just collected dust and debris (outdoor). The staff had a habit of popping into the villa at strange times - with some flyers or bug spray.. they just kept ringing the bell even when we were asleep or just let themselves in with no notice (walking up on my daughter changing). The was no “do not disturb” sign available, only a button to press that staff couldn’t explain where it was located. Also, the majority of clientele was Arabic or Israeli - very loud and obnoxious, with no regard to rest of the guests. Kids running wild and screaming and splashing everyone. Constant yelling from one side of pool to another…even though the location was great, very central - lots of restaurants and shops and nice beach I will give this one a pass next time…
