We truly loved our stay at the hotel. The room was clean and we received fresh bottles of water and paper towels every day. The hotel is lovely, we enjoyed staying at the pool and the beach as well. We also appreciated the bonus of having access to a SUP board. The view was stunning and the breakfasts were delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Jumben and Kid, who were always cheerful and kind — they made our stay even more memorable. In fact, all the staff was wonderfully welcoming. We were genuinely sad to leave and would be thrilled to come back again someday 🩷

We recently stayed at Chaba Cabana in Koh Samui, and from the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make sure every part of our stay was comfortable, enjoyable, and exactly what we hoped for. From the Reception team, to the cleaners the resturant and pool staff were all professional and delightful. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made a huge difference and ensured we were happy throughout our entire visit. I want to give special recognition to three incredible team members – Jumpen, Kid, and Pum. They were absolute gentlemen and consistently checked in to make sure we were satisfied, comfortable, and enjoying our holiday. Their friendliness, genuine care, and exceptional service truly stood out. Whether it was assisting us around the resort, offering recommendations, or simply greeting us with a smile, they made us feel welcomed and looked after us every day. These three are a major reason why our trip was pleasant, pleasurable, and genuinely memorable. They turned a great resort stay into something truly special. Chaba Cabana is lucky to have staff like Jumpen, Kid, and Pum. We will absolutely be returning and highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Koh Samui.

We stayed in the hotel for nearly a week and it was absolutely wonderful. I can highly recommend. Breakfasts are very tasty, you will definitely find something for yourself. Room was very clean and very comfy. Same for the bathroom. Where this hotel especially shines is the staff. Mr Kid and Jumpen (not sure how to correctly spell his name, sorry) are incredibly helpful and cheerful. Definitely added a lot value to our stay. Of course other staff members are also very kind and helpful whenever needed. You can't go wrong with this hotel.

My first Samui trip brought me to Chaba Resort - a clean, peaceful stay with everything you need. The oceanfront pool and restaurant were stunning, and the staff were wonderful. Breakfast was a highlight. Worth every moment… and I’ll be coming back. 💙

Very disappointing experience – beware of minibar charges! We had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel, which completely ruined what could have been a nice stay. Be very careful with the minibar. The only thing we did was replace the two beers that were originally in the fridge with two identical ones — exactly the same brand and type — and yet they charged us for them at the hotel’s price, claiming it’s “hotel policy.” Apparently, the original bottles had some kind of sticker, and since ours didn’t, they considered them “used.” Honestly, this makes no sense, as we left exactly the same beers, untouched in value or content. I explained I didn’t agree, but they still forced me to pay, which I find completely unfair. To make things worse, when we arrived, there were worms in the shower, which I personally had to clean with water. We didn’t even complain at the time because we didn’t want to make a fuss. But after not saying a word about that, being charged for two identical beers feels like a lack of respect for guests. Also, the attitude of the lady at reception (middle-aged) was extremely rude and unprofessional. She showed no understanding, no courtesy, and certainly no hospitality — a real shame for a hotel with such nice facilities. To be fair, the hotel itself is nice, and breakfast was fine, but the service and management decisions are absolutely disappointing. After such a pleasant stay overall, to leave with such a bad taste in our mouths is very sad. I truly hope the hotel management reflects on this, because good hospitality isn’t just about facilities — it’s about how you treat people.
