Koh Samui’s famous Big Buddha is a must see during your stay, just 15 minutes away from Centara Reserve Samui. This is also the perfect location for lovers of diving and snorkelling.

We spent a fantastic vacation at this beautiful hotel. From the first to the last minute of our stay, we experienced pure hospitality. An excellent breakfast, super friendly and extremely competent staff, and of course, the fantastic beach right in front of the hotel made this vacation unforgettable. Across the street, there are many good restaurants where you can enjoy excellent food in the evenings. We would especially like to thank White, who warmly and lovingly helped to make our vacation a memorable one. The only small negative point are the large Israeli families who act like little kings and, unfortunately, the staff are very condescending and arrogant. It's shameful.

This is the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at without any doubt and it offers more of what you can expect of a 5 stars hotel. The location is ideal in Chaweng beach which is the best in the island. All the staff is very kind and welcoming, willing to help in whatever you need. The room was super nice and clean. The first surprise we saw in our room was a bottle of wine and a plate full of tasty fruits. Then we learned that the minibar was free and refilled everyday! And on top we had a cocktail kit and spirit liquors that we could use also without any charge on top. As if it was not enough, they brought to us every afternoon a little detail such as chocolates or other treats and the “surprise of the day” which was basically another treat on top, wow! simply ideal and high end luxury. The food variety and quality is exceptional from breakfast to lunch and dinner across their different restaurants. The gym is fully equipped and big enough to have a proper workout session and you can even have fruit, water and healthy snacks for free. They have a great spa which you definitely need to try, we had an amazing 90 minutes massage. We could not recommend enough this amazing place. Big thanks to the great GM Neil for all the attentiveness and welcoming and to all the staff, they made us feel like at home. We’ll come back for sure!

Simply the best beach on Samui. Soft sand and transparent water. You cannot beat this location. And we have traveled all around the island to come to this conclusion. Another positive point is the breakfast, again it beats many other more expensive hotels on the island. Hotel itself is not new, but it is well maintained and feels as a solid and quality build. Excellent Consierge service, good swimming pools and security guys keeping your belongings safe. It is a rare gem for price/quality ratio, but to emphasize once more it is the best beach on Samui.

We stayed here in March 2025 for our honeymoon for 6 nights. If I could rate the hotels rooms and service 6 stars, I would. The location is also super convenient in Chaweng with plenty of shops, restaurants and massage parlours nearby. The resort is super luxury, the little added touches like daily treats, the free minibar and the lavish breakfast buffet were beyond my expectations. The staff were so extremely helpful, I’m terrible with names but Sao, Peck and the boys at the pool all went above and beyond. For example the pool boys would move our stuff to nicer seats while we were in the water as they knew we were trying to get a spot in the shade. The housekeeping staff noticed we weren’t having Coke from the minibar so asked us if we’d prefer Diet Coke. There were dozens of these nice little touches that genuinely went above and beyond. Couldn’t recommend this place enough, it was the perfect lux resort for a relaxing holiday.

Sadly for us this hotel did not live up to its ‘5 star’ status so we had to relocate half way through our stay. The hotel in general is old and had what seems to be a ‘room’ renovation, everything else is dated and lacks the detail of a 5 star hotel such as old sun beds and towels, below standard breakfast offering and the hotel is extremely overpriced. On a positive the staff are attentive and the beach is spectacular. We are a family with a 15 month year old and we feel the need to share that the kids club is not a ‘club’ but more a small hot room with little amenities for kids/babys so we relocated to the Ritz Carlton Koh Samui which was spectacular. We are saddened to write a negative review but feel this information needed to be shared for future travellers.
