Stayed at this hotel from 27th May till 9th of June. Check in process was smooth. Our room was upgraded from the deluxe to the premiere room. However we are not comfortable with the premiere room as it was isolated with connecting room which was not locked though there is no one staying. Next day we requested to change our room back to the deluxe room with the kids pool view. The room was much better and didn't seems as scary as the first one. Overall impression of the hotel itself looks old. Room wise was okay and comfortable. Furniture and amenities is outdated. My daughter enjoyed the kids pool. Staff was really helpful and polite. Buffet breakfast spread was good and they changed the menu everyday. During out checkout we requested for a late check out till 3pm but they only able to accomodate it to 2pm with the help of Ms. Charlyne. Thank you Centara for making our stay comfortable and hope to return when your back from the renovations.

Highly recommend Centara Karon. They are apparently closing in a few weeks or so for a massive renovation so feel lucky to have been able to stay in time, and given this renovation is happening honestly things are still being kept in amazing condition. Rooms are lovely and big. Pools are incredible and well maintained. Just love them! Great food, pizzas are so yummy and the Chefs Special Pan Fried Chicken Breast, amazing breakfasts with huge selection that changes daily - in a beautiful setting. Super clean. Lush tropical gardens everywhere and huge grounds. Staff are so friendly and lovely and smiley. Room serviced daily. Location is just perfect! Special mention for Lavle in the restaurant who provided great service and was always smiling and friendly and worked so hard, and the family loved the Muay Thai session with Kon over by the Gym - what an awesome experience and he was an excellent teacher. Would definitely come back.

Fabulous hotel, great food at restaurant and beautiful staff. Kids loved the pool, rooms spacious and well equipped. Cannot speak highly enough of the staff, so friendly and helpful. The hotel went out of their way to accommodate us when there was an issue with our booking at another hotel. Excellent location near the beach, a night market and many restaurants.

We came to stay for 2 nights at this hotel. The check--in was smooth but our mood changed when we went to the room which was on the 3rd floor with no elevator. We had to drag the luggage up the stair and corridor which was not clean and need somebody to take care the cleanliness. The room was quite large and nice view with pool (but no beach or sea view). The bed was comfy. The bathroom and toilet was quite old and need some improvement. The breakfat was OK with varieties of food but not very tasty. The only best part of this hotel was the staff which were polite, friendly and helpful.

Booked for sea view room but after arrival they told me sea is not visible from there sea view anymore . Then why putting it on a site? Resort is clean, my rooms ac was not good, water dropped the whole night and my luggage, whole floor got wet, they sent technician in no time. Overall helpfull staffs, rooms are big , spacious, location is in the middle of restaurant and few minutes walk to the karon beach. I really had a good time
