We did a 12 night stay 2 weeks ago. It was our first overseas family holiday and we had the best time. Centara Karon is in a great location, short walk to the beach, plenty of restaurants, massage places close by and little stores. 7 eleven & laundry just outside. The staff are amazing and super friendly. Breakfast had a great variety of food to choose from. Our experience with the Chang Dee Kids Club at Centara Karon Resort was absolutely outstanding, thanks to the incredible team of Betty, Sasha, Aki, and Nicky. Betty warmly welcomed us during breakfast and personally invited our children to join the Kids Club, instantly making us feel at home. Throughout our time at the resort, our kids took part in an amazing range of fun and engaging activities, including superhero mask making, pirate hat making, make-your-own smoothies, guessing Disney songs, pirate games, fastest-down-the-slide challenges, colouring, music trivia, and - our kids’ absolute favourite - the foam pool party! What truly set this team apart was how much they genuinely cared. They took the time to get to know not only our children, but us as parents as well, which made us feel incredibly comfortable and confident leaving our kids in their care. We were especially grateful for the consistent support and encouragement they gave our youngest in the pool—every time they saw her—which meant more to us than words can express. By the end of our stay, our kids were genuinely upset about leaving these four wonderful people and are already asking when we can return so they can go back to the Kids Club. That alone speaks volumes about the impact this team had on our family. Thank you, Betty, Sasha, Aki, and Nicky, for creating such special memories for our children. You are a huge credit to Centara Karon Resort, and we cannot wait to come back. Wishing you all a wonderful New Year & thank you again for a wonderful time.

We are a family of four with two children (4 and 8 years old), and we spent 9 wonderful days at Centara Karon Resort Phuket, including the New Year celebrations. The New Year’s dinner and pool party were fantastic — great DJ, great atmosphere, and lots of fun for both kids and adults. Our room was on the second floor near the main pool, which was very convenient. The pool itself was excellent, and our kids loved the activities such as water aerobics, water games, and the foam party. The hotel feels like a peaceful paradise, while just outside you can enjoy the lively Thai atmosphere with markets, shops, restaurants, and attractions. Karon Beach is only a 10-minute walk away, perfect for enjoying beautiful sunsets. Our days were perfectly balanced between family time and relaxation — buffet breakfasts, pool activities, kids enjoying time with the animators, and moments for us to relax with a traditional couple’s massage, followed by evenings out in the local area. A special thank you to the amazing animation team — Aki, Bettie, Nicky, and Sasha — for taking such great care of our family at the pool, in the kids’ area, and during the New Year’s party. They were friendly, easy-going, and made our stay truly memorable.

Rooms are beautiful. The resort is huge. We didnt get a room near the pools but the walk wasnt too bad The room we got was a really nice size. Kids had an amazing time. Breakfast is really good and they have a variety of foods. They have 3 pools, kids entertainment center was awesome. You can drop the kids off and come back for them later on. They had an air hockey table, pool table, table tennis, ps5 stations, Nintendo stations and a full room with a ball pit, blocks/puzzles and other games for the younger kids. Each day they had a different activity for the kids. Staff are so polite, helpful, friendly and all out fantastic. We had a beautiful time here. The hotel has alot of activities around it outside and its a much quieter area compared to Patong. Highly recommend for families with kiddies.

I did a lot of research before choosing this hotel — it was our first time in Phuket and we wanted to make the most of our 3-4 days there. Great location that is 5 min flat walk to the beach and next to lots of restaurants and massage places (literally 1 min walk). Our favorite pool was the one near the check in lobby, we had it mostly to ourselves during our stay. We were lucky that our room is in the main building where the check-in area is; otherwise, it might actually be a bit of a walk. Also has a gym with very spacious yoga / free weights room, the equipment is all in extremely good condition. The only downside is the quality of breakfast was very average. Lots of variety and options, but none tasted particularly good.

The hotel is really well laid out so it never seems over busy. The only time you get that feeling is occasionally at breakfast, and that's usually due to rude guests! Breakfast options are plentiful and always fresh. The ladies in the Escape Bar and Restaurant were lovely, as was the food. The Bistro Restaurant was quiet when we were there, and had a different menu. We nicknamed the Pink Social bar 'the Pink Antisocial' as we couldn't get a coffee one evening or a milkshake in the afternoon! All in all its a lovely, modern, clean hotel with helpful, happy staff and everything you need.
