If you choose to book all-inclusive at Centara Grand Beach Resort Phuket, the programme generally consists of breakfast (08:00-10:30), lunch (13:00-15:00) and dinner (19:00-21:30), all buffet style, served in the all-day dining venue. During meals soft drinks, beer, water and wine are offered. Locally produced alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks like water, wine, refreshments, soft drinks, beer, spirits, etc are served from 11:00-22:00 (except during meal times). Great beachfront resort with amazing staff, but some drawbacks We stayed at Centara Grand Beach Resort Phuket as a family and overall had a very good experience. We paid for a sea view room, which was lovely. The room was spacious and comfortable, with two double beds that worked well for us and our two children (ages 3 and 4). The bathroom was also large and practical, and the sea view was a real highlight. We enjoyed most aspects of the resort. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was its direct access to the beach, which is perfect when travelling with small children. Being right on the beach made everything very easy and relaxed. However, the hotel does feel a bit dated in places. While it is clean and well maintained, some areas could benefit from renovation or updating. Another downside was the cost of food and drinks. Prices are very high — comparable to European prices — and a service charge is added to every order. We sincerely hope this charge goes to the staff, as otherwise it feels disappointing. Before arriving, I emailed the hotel to ask about early check-in. I was told it couldn’t be guaranteed, but that we could have breakfast since we would arrive around 9am. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were charged for that breakfast, which felt misleading and left a slightly negative first impression. On the positive side, the staff truly stand out. Everyone was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. A special mention goes to Ida and Ray from the breakfast service — they are absolute stars. Our children, Hollie and Michael, loved them. They were incredibly kind, gave the kids lots of attention, and always helped us find a table. Ida and Ray, thank you for being so wonderful to our family. Overall, this is a very good resort with a fantastic beachfront location and exceptional staff, especially for families with young children. However, the dated feel in parts, high food and drink prices, and the breakfast charge issue bring the experience down slightly, making this a solid 4.5 out of 5 stay. Ida & Ray thank you ❤️

My family loved the location, beachfront away from the crowd but close enough to everything. Our room had a Thai feel with well-maintained private pool with jets. Chalin from the Cove restaurant, Fai from the Club Lounge, Peanut from the Gym teaching Muai Thai to my teenage son, Spy from the Spa, David and Por at the front desk, Ann from Tours and the rest of the staff were all very friendly, helpful and courteous. So glad we chose to stay in this wonderful hotel. Ps- we loved the seafood buffet by the beach and the spectacular fire show! Impressive performance! The bbq buffet at the Cove was great too!

The room was beautiful with a stunning sea view. The beach in this area is lovely, with fine, golden sand. All the staff were wonderful and genuinely service-minded, from the front office to the restaurant. ​On a rainy day, I ordered in-room dining, and Khun Heart provided excellent service, delivering the food exactly as requested and ensuring it was still hot. ​Additionally, my mother requested a firmer mattress because of her back problems. The housekeeping team promptly added a topper, which made my mother's sleep comfortable throughout the stay. ​We want to express our gratitude for these small but thoughtful touches. This is why we have been loyal to the Centara brand for so long. We will definitely be back again in the future.

My husband and I stayed at the Centara Grand Beach resort for our honeymoon and had the most incredible experience. Our accommodations were incredibly clean, the staff very friendly and helpful, and the resort had lots of scheduled activities for kids and adults alike throughout the day. We enjoyed the resort lazy river, quick walk to the beach, and adult pool. The spa packages were so amazing that we booked a second one for the next day. Big thank you to Dada and Orn who took care of us and made sure we were comfortable the entire time at the spa. We also did the beach-side cooking class that wowed us with incredible tastes, smells, and views. It was so fun to learn how to make some of our Thai favorites. Our cooking class hosts Han, Pakboong, and Yah made the experience one we will never forget! So grateful for the incredible memories here at Centara Grand that we will hold for many years to come 🤍

Loving our family stay here. This hotel is the sweet spot between luxury and affordability. It's big (you will get in your daily step count walking between your room and all the pools / restaurants), grand and mostly well maintained with tropical plant lined walkways that run beside fish ponds and landscaped bridges. Sure, there are a few signs of its age, but that's expected and it's room rates are more reasonable for a family compared to other resorts. Staff are all really friendly, shout outs to Dian for her delicious coffee at breakfast, O at Ripples Adults pool for happy hour, Aldi at block 5 room service and all the Kids Club staff who keep the kids amused for hours and wanting to go back each day. The pool (or series of interconnected pools) is a real highlight. Sure there's a broken tile or two but it's a decent size with waterslides, lazy river, high jumps and mini beaches. There's a good selection of restaurants; breakfast is a highlight and wether you feel like eating healthy or indulging on holiday it's all on offer. Shout out for having decent pizza dough at the Italian restaurant. The gym is also decent to work off some calories and there's a good selection of activities for kids and parents and themed food nights. As for improvements; it would be perfect if there were cheaper options for food, drinks and spa treatments. Outside of happy hours (12-4pm when there's 2 for 1 offers) drinks are expensive, about AUD10 for a can of local beer and AUD20 for a cocktail, so it makes sense to nip into town to get some drinks and store in the room fridge. Massages start at AUD80 so again it's cheaper even at the premium spasbin town but no doubt the hotel has a captive audience and will offer a luxury service. Our sea view family room is a good size at >50sqm and you can order any extra amenities from the hotel app (more water, towels etc). Location is great for the beach as it's at the far north end so almost feels private with lovely waters just a stones throw away but it's a 15 min walk into town (some of the way among a busy road) or simple to get a Grab taxi to your destination. Overall id recommend this hotel for both families and couples who want a great beach location, friendly service and big resort facilities at a reasonable room rate.
