During meals soft drinks, beer, water and wine are offered. Locally produced alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks like water, wine, refreshments, soft drinks, beer, spirits, etc are served from 11:00-22:00 (except during meal times). Great beachfront resort with amazing staff, but some drawbacks We stayed at Centara Grand Beach Resort Phuket as a family and overall had a very good experience. We paid for a sea view room, which was lovely. The room was spacious and comfortable, with two double beds that worked well for us and our two children (ages 3 and 4). The bathroom was also large and practical, and the sea view was a real highlight. We enjoyed most aspects of the resort. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was its direct access to the beach, which is perfect when travelling with small children. Being right on the beach made everything very easy and relaxed. However, the hotel does feel a bit dated in places. While it is clean and well maintained, some areas could benefit from renovation or updating. Another downside was the cost of food and drinks. Prices are very high — comparable to European prices — and a service charge is added to every order. We sincerely hope this charge goes to the staff, as otherwise it feels disappointing. Before arriving, I emailed the hotel to ask about early check-in. I was told it couldn’t be guaranteed, but that we could have breakfast since we would arrive around 9am. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were charged for that breakfast, which felt misleading and left a slightly negative first impression. On the positive side, the staff truly stand out. Everyone was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. A special mention goes to Ida and Ray from the breakfast service — they are absolute stars. Our children, Hollie and Michael, loved them. They were incredibly kind, gave the kids lots of attention, and always helped us find a table. Ida and Ray, thank you for being so wonderful to our family. Overall, this is a very good resort with a fantastic beachfront location and exceptional staff, especially for families with young children. However, the dated feel in parts, high food and drink prices, and the breakfast charge issue bring the experience down slightly, making this a solid 4.5 out of 5 stay. Ida & Ray thank you ❤️

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well organized. The staff were always friendly, welcoming, and smiling, which made our experience even more pleasant. Special thanks to the lady who cleaned our room, Naa. She did an excellent job and was very kind and attentive. Her care really made a difference during our stay. We truly enjoyed our time here and would be happy to come back again.

Great (real) beachfront hotel with the best service that I have ever seen. The hotel does show signs of wear and tear, but not to a point where it is an issue. We had the private pool room with a limited sea view, and it was a good experience. The location is nice and secluded, the breakfast has a wide variety of selections and the two restaurants deliver a decent experience. The 5 stars are primarily from the amazing service that is being provided by everyone, from check-in, room service, pool bars etc. I believe the 'baht booster' package information could be shared more clearly, as there were quite many exclusions, that were not that clear from the initial information.

The room was beautiful with a stunning sea view. The beach in this area is lovely, with fine, golden sand. All the staff were wonderful and genuinely service-minded, from the front office to the restaurant. ​On a rainy day, I ordered in-room dining, and Khun Heart provided excellent service, delivering the food exactly as requested and ensuring it was still hot. ​Additionally, my mother requested a firmer mattress because of her back problems. The housekeeping team promptly added a topper, which made my mother's sleep comfortable throughout the stay. ​We want to express our gratitude for these small but thoughtful touches. This is why we have been loyal to the Centara brand for so long. We will definitely be back again in the future.

My husband and I stayed at the Centara Grand Beach resort for our honeymoon and had the most incredible experience. Our accommodations were incredibly clean, the staff very friendly and helpful, and the resort had lots of scheduled activities for kids and adults alike throughout the day. We enjoyed the resort lazy river, quick walk to the beach, and adult pool. The spa packages were so amazing that we booked a second one for the next day. Big thank you to Dada and Orn who took care of us and made sure we were comfortable the entire time at the spa. We also did the beach-side cooking class that wowed us with incredible tastes, smells, and views. It was so fun to learn how to make some of our Thai favorites. Our cooking class hosts Han, Pakboong, and Yah made the experience one we will never forget! So grateful for the incredible memories here at Centara Grand that we will hold for many years to come 🤍
