The resort is large and spacious with good overall potential; however, it unfortunately requires comprehensive renovation, as many facilities and furnishings appear old and worn out. The cleanliness of dining utensils also needs improvement, as lipstick marks were noticed on some cups and dishes, which is not appropriate for a resort of this size. In addition, the number of staff appears insufficient for the hotel’s needs, which affects the speed and quality of service. The overall atmosphere also feels more commercial than luxurious, making the experience fall below expectations for what is supposed to be a premium resort, especially when there are other options available that are less expensive yet offer higher quality. We hope management will focus on maintenance, improve cleanliness standards, increase staffing levels, and enhance the overall guest experience so the resort can better reflect its true potential.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a wonderful stay at Centara Grand Beach Resort. The resort is beautiful, and perfectly located right on the beach. The rooms were spacious and clean, the facilities were excellent, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and luxurious. What really made our stay special was the amazing staff. A big thank you to Ida and Chalin, who were absolutely fantastic—so kind, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Their warm hospitality truly made a difference and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. Highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a memorable beach holiday. We would definitely love to come back

Staff services top-notch at this hotel it is in a beautiful location they make you feel very well gone their welcome drink is a delicious and so refreshing. The only other thing is the showers are arranged in a way that makes all the water spill out onto the floor so you constantly have like towels sopping up the water. Na Na Who works at the front desks Starbucks Was so kind and helpful. The private beach is serene clean and well maintained. The water is clear Had a great time swimming at the beach. So many tiny little crabs jellyfish called man-of-war and mud skippers which are indigenous to phuket Thailand. Highly recommend any first time we're coming to visit Phuket.

This is a great resort, we came from Sydney and stayed for 11 nights, enjoyed every single moment. Good spot for families with kids, a lot of water activities that will keep the kids active and busy. The resort beach has one of the greatest sunsets you can find on earth. Great breakfast buffet, great restaurants and food. All the staff are great specially Chalin and Ida were fantastic, always helpful and very kind. Encourage all the families to visit.

Centara So much potential, but so poorly managed. This hotel has the potential to be one of the best on the island, but costs have been cut in so many places, that it is very visible and really takes it from a 5* to 3* hotel. We stayed here for a 5 day family vacation with 2 young kids. 1. Room quality and housekeeping - the quality of the rooms is so so, we were welcomed by bedding that was torn and had holes in it - not what you expect from a 5* hotel. Secondly, housekeeping was so inconsistent, one day they didnt come and clean the room until 7pm. Thirdly our balcony was infested with bugs making it unusable, so had to change rooms half way through the stay which is very frustrating (they offered us a free dinner for 2 - food only - to apologise). Finally even in the new room, the paint was peeling off the walls and parts of the room were completely covered in dust, they need a deep clean. 2. Pool - pool area is nice, lazy river, slides etc are all good, but poorly maintained, the drainage covers around the pool are broken, and both kids ended up cutting their feet on sharp objects. Also, the pool service is non existent, no service to take away empty glasses, no trash bins to dump rubbish, no pool boys taking away old towels so sun beds get hogged all day. They operate a towel card service to encourage people to return towels, but very poorly managed. 3. Cheap tactics - this part bugged me the most, upon arrival, they force you to download an app which they use to bombard you with notifications, its non stop. They charge 100THB to simply use the laundry bag in the room, they charge 800THB for taking any food items from the breakfast buffet. These cheap tactics make it feel more like a TUI hotel than a premium 5* hotel, it just kills the vibe. Even the kids club, you need to buy tokens to use the games (air hockey/virtual bowling etc.) and they only accept cash, just feels cheap. 4. Reception - The reception area is very small for a resort of this size, congested and not fit for purpose. No help on arrival with bags as limited bell boys. I had emailed ahead of time requesting help with getting a room earlier as we had long travels with 2 young kids, but they stuck to their 3pm check in policy, which is fine, albeit a reflection on the hotel that they are not there to support, or go the extra mile, which is not what I expect from a 5* resort. 5. Kids club - credit where credit is due, the staff in kids club are great. All in all, with some proper management and a mindset change, this really could be a 5* resort, but its not there yet. And I wouldnt stay here again.
