We arrived prior to check-in and were allowed to park and drop off our luggage. We stayed on the 22nd floor a club room. top 4 floors have access to the executive lounge on the 24th floor with amazing views. There are 5 mini events everyday. lots of snacks and complementary beverages. comfortable seating and friendly staff. Breakfast there was very nice and they would cook to order additional items. Thai dishes were not truly authentic in my option. I would say they are westernized. The room was spacious and as advertised. Our luggage was lost so it was nice to have some toothbrushes and toothpaste available. We were given 4 bottles of complementary water everyday. My largest complaint is the lack of outlets to charge phones, etc. 5 star hotel did not disappoint.

Top service! Very friendly, polite and considerate stuff.
•Location wise, a bit far from the sightseeing spots (20-30min taxi ride), however a big + was that it’s connected to the famous mall (can enter through the parking lot)
•Room was nice, comfortable with a beautiful view, however it was a bit dusty.
•Breakfast buffet was amazing! Great variety of foods.
•The terrace restaurant also very classy and has beautiful view in the evening ~

I stay here for three nights every February, and every year it gets better.
It has so much going for it...
The location, midway between the two international airports, just 30 minutes from either via the hotel's excellent limousine service, and within 20 minutes of Bangkok's busy downtown, plus being situated within the first class Central Plaza mall.
Its beautiful and extensive gardens and swimming pool.
Its world-class gym and luxurious spa.
Its choice of seven fine restaurants.
Its staff, from the wonderful head doorman, who unfailingly remembers me every year upon my arrival, through reception, chambermaids, and waiting staff, all are welcoming, warm, and unfailingly helpful.
I always take a Club Room, which I recommend to achieve the full Centara Grand experience.

This is my 1st time staying 5 nights in this “5 stars Hotel”. Currently is my 2nd day (level 7)in this hotel . I think for 5 stars standard , this is one of the worst hotel I ever stayed . Apart from the bed and pillows not firm enough , the main problem is there is a strong scent smell coming from the drainage as shown in the picture .
After the housekeeping came , just poured some fragrance solution inside the drainage but it doesn’t solved the problem as 15 mins later the smelly scent back again .
I requested for a new room and was transferred to another room at level 21. This room was much smaller than my previous one and there is only 1 charging power socket which the previous room has 2. Operation told me some room has 1 and some has 2 not unsure which room has 2 power sockets . I was unsure is this the right standard of a “ 5 stars hotel “. Don’t think I would want to come back to this hotel to stay next time . I would not recommend to others about this hotel.

This branch of Centara Grand is connected to Central Ladprao. Don't confuse it with the Centara Grand that's connected to Central world which is about 10 stations away. This hotel feels older but is still well maintained. The rooms are a good size and comfortable. There are several dining options as well as a spa. The gym isn't open 24/7 though.
