Relax and unwind at Casa Cook, a magnificent 5-star escape in the laid-back resort of Kolymbia in sun-blitzed Rhodes. Located a short stroll away from a pristine sandy beach, this opulent hideaway is the perfect place to immerse yourself in the peace and tranquillity which is typical of this part of the island. You’ll stay in a sumptuous Bohemian-style room or suite boasting an array of wonderful facilities including sunbeds or hammocks, a private veranda and a shared or private pool. The Kitchen Club is a fabulous venue where a bar, restaurant and swimming pool area merge seamlessly for a range of activities including sunset dining and superb evenings filled with DJ beats. There’s also a charming open-air terrace where you can enjoy rejuvenating yoga sessions with a qualified teacher and a cutting-edge gym for keeping in shape during your holiday.

Absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. The staff were beyond kind and truly went out of their way to make everything perfect. The service, the atmosphere, the design – everything was exceptional. I felt genuinely welcomed and taken care of throughout my stay. Can’t wait to return!

We had an amazing stay at Casa cook Rhodes. The hotel is greatly located, in a calm and quiet area nested by a small hill where goats can sometimes be heard. Rooms are spacious and modern. Service is impeccable, everyone is always kind, willing to help, grateful and listening, the bar staff knew our order before we even sat by the pool in the evening for a drink. Breakfast buffet offers a wide range of delicious food, tea station and coffee from the bar are also readily available, fresh (bottled) water is also served without asking during breakfast. Evening menu is tasteful and remarkably well made, food was very good and once again, service was fast. Big thanks to the staff of the hotel, especially the breakfast and bar in the evening for making our holidays so nice.

Our second time at this hotel. My review is based off both of the visits. Positive: Beautiful setting - the Mountain View is really special and you get the feeling that you are in an oasis all by yourself. Very friendly staff - especially in the restaurant and the guys helping with bags. Super helpful and very genuine. Negative: The food variety - There’s a set menu for the HB, which is exactly the same every week. It was actually the same as last year. When staying for more than 7 days it gets very repetitive. Such a shame as the quality was quite good. Standard - Beautiful rooms, sure. But the maintenance needs to be improved. Improvements to make sure the room stays beautiful. The gym is getting worn down and the public bathrooms needs a lift. Also, if you want to check out late you need to shower and change in their basement. Cooks Club, their sister hotel next door (half price), gives you a room for 30 minutes. Details - For 400 euro a night, I’d expect a coffee machine, a bottle of water and tea at the room. For some reason the guests from Cook Club are allowed to reserve sun beds. Which makes the pools crowded. Half price, same experience. Strange. Managers - Every morning there was staff discussing loud outside of the room. The storage room for the equipment is located next to the room and we were awaken multiple times because of the low quality shed. Surely a luxury hotel can provide their staff with better facilities? A couple of times the staff even had a loud fight inside our room while we were there. The hotel managers need to step up and lead the teams better. To summarize - the hotel is for sure worth a visit, but perhaps only for a few days to relax. If you come with high expectations, you’ll probably be disappointed. However, if you need a hotel whew you’ll be able to distant yourself from the noise, this hotel is perfect.

Unfortunately, we won’t be coming back to Casa Cook Rhodes. While we appreciated the kindness of the team, the quality of the food, and the overall outdoor ambiance, several key aspects of our stay were truly disappointing. Check-in was far from smooth, and our “Loft Suite with veranda and pool accessories” was unexpectedly dark, cold, and lacked privacy. Suites are extremely close to one another — it’s hard to enjoy the pool without being watched from both sides. For €485 a night, we had higher expectations. Housekeeping was also well below par. We found numerous hairs in the bathtub and the room felt poorly cleaned overall. The finishes were rough, and attention to detail was clearly missing. Despite having placed the “Do Not Disturb” sign on our door, housekeeping knocked at 9:00 AM asking when we were leaving — even though checkout was at 11:00. We were also promised a fruit basket upon arrival, which was never delivered. When we asked about it, we were told it would be brought later, but it never came. Instead, we were given a warm bottle of white wine — made worse by the fact that our minibar fridge barely worked. For this price point, we expected to be able to relax and truly enjoy the space in peace. Unfortunately, the constant loud music playing from the bars and restaurants — even during breakfast — made it difficult to find any sense of calm. This stay had potential, but too many issues added up, and sadly, it just didn’t deliver the experience we were hoping for.

My favourite place on Earth. We’ve been here twice now and are already planning our third trip. The location is stunning, and so peaceful, and it’s only a short walk to the beach. The staff are incredibly helpful and kind, and any issues (we’ve only ever had 1, and it wasn’t with the hotel itself) are sorted out really quickly. We’ve stayed in the standard room and the prestige suite, and both are incredible. The standard rooms have a shared pool, but it’s only shared with a few other rooms and we’ve always found we had the pool to ourselves most of the time. The prestige suites are beautiful with your own pool and outdoor area. For me, the food at Casa Cook is better than any other hotel in Greece- as a vegetarian, there are so many options (both vegetarian and vegan) each night and they’re all incredible. The spa is also amazing and has an indoor heated pool. I’ve never been more relaxed.
