Casa Alberola Alicante, Curio Collection by Hilton

We selected the Casa Alberola Alicante for our wedding anniversary stay, based on its appearance online, and its central location. I have a mobility disability and the hotel was perfect for my needs. When we arrived I was a bit taken aback by the rather cramped reception; its not what I envisaged at all, and there was a slight delay due to other guests arriving; we were then served, and the hotel staff took our passports. We had prebooked a specific room (the Premium Room in the tower, overlooking the sea), so were a bit puzzled why we were directed to a tiny side street room, so went back down to reception. It transpired that even though we had surrendered our passports, the staff managed to confuse us with other guests (from a different nation, with a different surname). It took a while to get it all fixed, but eventually managed to get the correct room. The following morning we came down for breakfast, and found the breakfast bar which again was disappointingly small, and lacking choice. Whilst the staff were attentive and friendly, it certainly didn't reflect my impression of a Hilton hotel. Apart from these drawbacks, the location was perfect for town or beach. The room was exceptional, with a beautiul view; plenty of space, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, although at times a bit muddled.

Absolutely amazing hotel in every way - loved our stay here. We got such a warm welcome - all the staff are so lovely and helpful. It's the perfect location for Alicante old town - the harbour, esplanade and all the amazing places to eat locally. We really enjoyed our breakfasts - a great range of items. There's bacon, different types of eggs and a wide variety of cheese and cold meats too. Also a fantastic range of breads and pastries. Perfect to start the day. Our room was excellent with very tasteful and stylish decor. The cleaning staff deserve a special mention as they keep everywhere so clean. The air conditioning was very effective and the shower was powerful with unlimited hot water. All in all this is a wonderful hotel in every way. Highly recommended and would come back here without hesitation.

Had a very restful over night stay here, rooms were very nice, beds & pillow gorgeous & comfy 😴 😊 . Breakfast was tasty and a nice selection 😋. Thank you Lucia for welcoming us, very friendly & helpful. Lovely lady.

Four nights stay in september 2025. The location is simply perfect in Alicante. Very close to the waterfront marina and many rows of restaurants on the waterfront and streets behind. Service is perfect. Their breakfast option is very nice. Rooms are very clean and comfy. I will definitely come back at this location.

One of the worst Hilton. The hotel shouldn’t be named Curio Collection by Hilton. It doesn’t meet the brand requirements. First of all, during check-in the front desk did not give the upgrade as a Diamond Member (despite the room was available). Then, the front desk said that we can change the room tomorrow. Unfortunately, when we came tomorrow to change the room, the ladies told us that we have to pay for that (it doesn’t make sense). No one told us before that we have to pay for the upgrade. What is more as a Diamond member upgrade to the room is for free. During check-in front desk did not ask about payment method. When I asked About the payment, the ladies told me that actually they charged my credit card (I want to pay with different credit card, they did not ask me about the payment). Another disadvantage is breakfast. Breakfast is worse than in the Hampton by Hilton. There is only bread, jams, tomatoes (pan con tomate), cheese, ham, yoghurt and actually that’s all. If you want to eat scrambled eggs or omlette (basic food in other Hilton hotels), you need to pay for it. There is no tea in your room. Big advantage of the hotel is location. It is close everywhere. But I wouldn’t recommend the hotel
