We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean and great location. The property is well kept and clean. The staff were very friendly and there was a variety of activities. We did, however feel like most of the interactive pool and beach games had a provocative feel to them which we feel should be for adults only. We also didn't appreciate that our volleyball games were abruptly brought to a halt because every member of the activity staff were told to be involved in the crazy game and often would put pressure on us to join the game even though we were having fun playing volleyball. Also, the evening shows often had a provocative vibe at the intro portion of the show. This time of year we discovered that there is a seaweed plant that washes in and completely take over the ocean front making it very dirty and not pleasant to look at or swim in. The excursion that we booked through the hotel ended up being not at all what we were promised and they did not do anything for us when we reported how disappointed we were. The amenities were great. We really enjoyed the gym with multiple machines to use and heavier dumbbells. We really enjoyed the sports complex to play tennis, and basketball. We really enjoyed the variety of food at the buffet and the different restaurants were a great experience. Overall, we would return.

Where do I even start?  Read a lot of mixed reviews about this resort but decided to book regardless. I can say that right from the start of the holiday, this resort ticked all the boxes. Very beautiful, spotlessly clean, not too big but not too small, little but great touches such as the tropical fish and animals around the resort. Upgraded to the Platinum club, and I can say it's worth every penny. Dinner at the 2 Platinum restaurants was amazing, probably the best A la carte I've had on holiday! Went to the Dominican restaurant and Tao, which was a bit of a letdown, but that didn't spoil the holiday in any way. The main buffet at breakfast had a vast array of dishes, most of which were tasty. Omelette station, fresh juice, tropical fruits, pastries, hot dishes, etc. There are many bars around the resort. Golf buggy to transport guests from one place to another. The beach was beautiful even though it was seaweed season. A la carte lunch and drinks at the Platinum club was top notch with lovely sea views. Staff are always doing their best to make your vacation very enjoyable. Could go on and on about this place, but overall, it was a wonderful vacation. I'm missing it already.

The room was super clean! We had no problem getting towels; bath and beach towels. Melody Hernandez at the Guest Service was really helpful! Pro-tip: Book all of your dinner reservations for the restaurants upon arrival. Con: We are early risers. Wished some shops/spa/gym would open earlier.

We used booking.com to make reservations for two adults and two children. Book.com put in the reservations we had two children under one. We checked in on 6/22/25. Gave our passports for all four of us. Got our braclets and went to our room. At 8:00am (first morning of our vacation) 6/23/25 we got a call from the front desk informing us we need to pay additional money for our children to be allowed to stay on the premises. If we could not come up with the additional 1,500 dollars by 5:00pm the children would have to leave the premises. We could stay, but the children would have to leave. Make it make sense. During the conversation the manager of the resort said okay, since this individual made the mistake we will take it out of his paycheck so he can pay for your children to stay. Nice tactic- it worked. We paid. The beach- also not great considering the four foot deep seaweed that you needed to cross to get to the ocean. Check, triple, quadruple check. “Babies” can be interpreted as any age. Be very clear how old your children are and record conversations with the booking agency as well as front desk at check in.
