Caramel, A Grecotel Resort To Live

Our stay at Caramel Grecotel was truly outstanding—easily among my top hotel experiences. The level of service was world-class. From food and drinks to random requests, every interaction was handled with genuine care and efficiency. The staff really set the tone for a best-in-class experience. I love that they just give the vibe that they REALLY care. The pool was fantastic, and I particularly appreciated their practical approach to seat reservations. Unlike many resorts, they don’t allow people to claim loungers all day without using them, which creates a fair and positive environment. The pool cabanas are also first-come, first-served rather than an endless up-charge, which is refreshing. Dining was another highlight. Every meal we had was excellent, with the à la carte dinner being especially worth it. It’s clear the team goes above and beyond to make the culinary experience feel luxurious and thoughtful. The rooms were beautiful—fresh, bright, and extremely comfortable. The air conditioning was also a standout, which made a big difference in comfort. The only small oddity was that the upstairs living room in our two-bedroom beach villa had almost no furniture. It didn’t affect our stay since we didn’t need the space, but worth noting. The beach was lovely, with a perfect tiki bar setup and excellent service. The one drawback is that the sea itself is a bit rocky. Kids definitely need adult supervision, even when the water is calm. Obviously nothing the hotel can do about that, just something for readers to know. Other features deserve a mention as well—the gym was stronger than most resort gyms I’ve seen (boutique hotels), and the overall feel of the property is both romantic and family-friendly. It’s rare to find a hotel that can pull off both equally well, but Caramel Grecotel does. Overall, this was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I would 100% recommend it to friends and family, whether for a romantic getaway or a family trip.

This is the second year in a row I’ve sent my wife, daughter, and mother-in-law to Grecotel Caramel, and once again – they came back absolutely thrilled! This place is a rare gem that combines luxury, comfort, and genuine care. A huge thank you to the entire hotel staff – their warmth and professionalism make all the difference. A special mention to Maria and Alexander, the hotel managers – their attention to detail, kindness, and constant support are truly exceptional. They anticipate every need and go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. Our little daughter adores this place – everything is thoughtfully tailored for children. And both my wife and mother-in-law were able to fully relax and recharge, enjoying the beautiful surroundings, the sea, and the impeccable service. Thank you, Grecotel Caramel, for creating such a magical experience for my family. We’re already planning next year’s trip!

An outstanding experience from beginning to end! At Caramel, you are not treated like a customer being waited on by hotel staff — you are treated like a guest being warmly hosted. The attention to detail, kindness, and hospitality of all the staff is second to none. Coupled with an excellent pool, outstanding food, carefully selected furniture and decor, you’re in for an immersive experience in a paradise you’ll never tire of! Well done to Alex, Ionna, and the whole team for creating such a wonderful ambience and memories to treasure. Our baby Ayda was treated like a princess every single day, and it was evident that the team genuinely cared and went above and beyond to make our stay magical. Thank you to everyone at Caramel!

I'll start with what people normally end with: we'll be back! The hotel team are well versed with thoughtful and sincere customer service, it all felt natural. Nothing was ever inconvenient or too much. They made our daughter feel extra special too - thanks to Alex, Soula, and many many others. The food is generous and undeniably delicious, with more than enough variety. We normally don't opt for half board but we're glad we did. The pool was always at an incredibly inviting temperature and super clean. Fresh towels continuously available. Rooms also very clean; coffee and refreshments replenished ever day. The gym had all the essentials. The kids club had enough activities for younger children to have something to look forward to in addition to the swimming pool. Note that the other Grecotel with the water slides that's a 10 mins drive is accessible to hotel guests but you have to pay entry (at their discretionary). The beach is rocky so bring swimming shoes, and make sure you watch the stunning sunset every night. Lastly, there's bound to be entertainment noise coming from at least one direction in the evenings but shows normally ended between 10.30 to 11pm so you just have to bear it - or join in. Overall it was a magical break and we look forward to coming back like many other guests we met had made their return. Thank you

We had a wonderful family stay at Caramel! The food was excellent, the rooms and the whole resort were very clean, and the service was outstanding. Real boutique calm resort. Would like to say thanks to Mr. Oggy for a beautiful complements also all the restaurant team Mr. Alexandros and Mr. Manos. Everything made us feel welcome and comfortable! A few things that could be improved: the beach is rocky with big waves, so it’s not easy to enjoy swimming, and the sunbeds at the beach look quite old – it’s really time to replace them. Also, while the food was delicious, the interior design of the dining and breakfast inside restaurant could use some updating. Overall, though, we truly enjoyed our stay and would gladly recommend Caramel!
