This is the place to be if you are an active person and looking for a full-service vacation. The villa's and food are great, the views are beautiful. You can get your own mountainbike to explore the resort, it is 5 km long, so enough to discover. I can also recommend to cycle to the northern part and experience the daily life of local Maldivians. The snorkeling in the south is amazing, with beautiful fishes and turtles. There is a gym, a 50m swimming pool, a beachvolley court where I had a lot of fun. If you want to make a difference, go help with beach clean up. Since it is an eco-resort, the climate is respected in all the resort's decisions. But this does not impact the level of comfort in any way. And last but not least: the staff is super friendly and helpful. I can really recommend this place! It is worth the long trip from Europe!

We spent two wonderful weeks there. The cottages are very spacious and beautiful, especially the outdoor shower, which has beautiful views of the palm trees. I recommend the Sunset Villa rooms. They offer sunset views and beach access. The food is very good. There's plenty of it, and above all, beautiful views. The resort is quite large, almost 5km long, and there are plenty of attractions. We spent our evenings at the bar, where the Beyond Rhythm Band entertained us almost every day. Three wonderful people: Jay, Marie, and Chris. 😁 Thank you for the beautiful music. And most importantly, the weather was very good, even though it was supposed to be rainy.

The resort is lovely, the staff are all very attentive. The food is good, a great selection as it is buffet style. The only thing that let's it down is it is suppose to be All Inclusive, but you can't get snacks at the various bars without having to pay extra. The drinks need to be really looked into, no choice and the spirits were dreadful. Also unfortunately they had really unprecedented bad weather, monsoon rain, as you need to get the buggies to all the various bars and restuarant, you get soaked, this not ideal when you are dressed up for the evening.

We had a wonderful, relaxing holiday in this resort in September. All the staff from Sherwood in reception who greeted us on arrival at 2am in the morning (after flight delays), were so kind and lovely. Everyone, housekeeper, chefs, waiting staff and the buggy drivers were always so pleasant. We had ten days and did a couple of boats trips out and a trip to the local island, across the bridge and into a taxi as suggested by reception. The evening entertainment was a delight and we had the pleasure of listening to a wonderful 3 piece group called Beyond Rythmn who were soulful and a delight. Reception are efficient and always able to provide advice. This really is a chilled experience and the sunsets over the Indian Ocean are beautiful. Thank you for our wonderful time spent with you.

I had a great time at Canareef Resort Hotel. The location was very beautiful, the sand was white powder and the sea was very blue. It was very good value for money compared to other resorts. The welcome during and after the transfer was excellent. I enjoyed the ability to use bikes for free to explore the resort. My only issue was that I paid for all inclusive because I do like to drink alcohol. However, the drinks were incredibly weak and watery, so not much alcohol could have been in them. I also did not enjoy the included wine. Other than that, I had no problems. I particularly enjoyed the opportunity to take part kn their weekly optional beach clean to improve the environment.
